We enjoyed the peace and quiet along with a comfortable bed. Had been staying at a resort for a conference with auto closing/slamming doors, and a noisy atmosphere. This was a very welcomed change. Quiet and homey.
This was the absolute WORST place we have ever stayed at! Let me first start by saying this place is NOT pet friendly! If you care about your pet, almost any boarding facility would be a better place. We couldnât even pet our dog out to owe because the sticker burrs were so overgrown. Our dog also found a scorpion within minutes of being inside the house, so we also couldnât let her roam the house.
Now let me address the property: this was the worst case of catfishing Iâve ever seen. Thereâs a picture of a museum listed on their advertisement for this place as the âexteriorâ! That is NOT where you will be staying. We thought it was a joke when we pulled up to the actual âdollhouseâ. And when we walked inside, we were slapped in the face with what smelled like 200 year old mold. Then thereâs the inside of this shack.. laced with filthy dirty yellowing walls that looks like it hasnât been cleaned since its development back in the 1900âs. Every single thing in this place was filthy. We were so disgusted that we immediately looked for somewhere else to stay that night. But unfortunately, the entire area was solid booked for the weekend due to it being a holiday weekend. I donât know what theyâre doing with the âcleaning feesâ, but I can assure you, itâs not to have anyone clean it. Thereâs also a gap around the entire door of one of the doors that lead outside. Whatever bugs were outside so loud, we literally felt like we were camping outside. Donât blow your money here!
