***HOME WITH CANAL VIEW/WALK TO THE BEACH***

Pleasant and quiet residential street in beautiful Longboat Key. This 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom sits on a water canal. Newly furnished with a farmhouse coastal dĂ©cor offering two bedrooms on the second floor with a king sized bed and 42” TV in the master bedroom, and two twin beds in the second bedroom. The linen closet is stocked with an inflatable mattress and beach towels. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, stove, oven, toaster, blender, coffee-machine and a brand new dishwasher, new sink and faucet.

The living area and master bedroom feature sliding glass doors to the canal. Wake up and step out into the balcony overseeing the canal and breath in the tropical breeze while listening to the palms sway. Have morning coffee or tea in our patio table and keep an eye open for the marine life that tends to drift down the canal. The living room has a smart 65” TV and we offer 600 MBPS fast speed free internet perfect for working remotely.

Take a short walk to the white sandy beaches with crystalline waters in the Gulf of Mexico and catch the most breathtaking and very private sunsets. We include in our rental beach gear such as umbrella with chairs, small cooler, boogie board and paddles. You are welcome to use our beach wagon.

This two story duplex seemed newly renovated and was very nicely furnished. The location was easy walking distance to the beach and all beach needs were supplied including a nice folding wagon. The host was an excellent communicator.

We really enjoyed our stay in Longboat Key. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was awesome—quiet and relaxing, but still close to restaurants and things to do.Beach access was super easy and the sunsets were amazing. It was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the island. We’d definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a laid-back beach getaway.

The neighborhood had a blend of a few nicely cared for properties, and some that were poorly cared.

This duplex of 800 sf was cozy, nicely decorated, well-stocked and clean. Due to last Fall hurricane flooding on first floor there were all new items like table and chairs, couch, carpet, kitchen appliances and kitchen lower cabinets. The phone calls to the property manager were never answered, but the owner responded promptly. He even drove over 2 hours to correct some deficiencies noted the day we arrived. Owner was very responsive.

I didn’t want to leave!

I’m rating this condo and my overall experience at 100% It is decorated beautifully, immaculately clean, modern, has everything you need in the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms! They thought of every detail as if they were prepping for loved ones to stay. Umbrella, chairs, beach wagon and beach towels! The crane in the picture visited me every day! The block is quiet, safe, beachy. I walked to the private beach every day and the water is aqua. GORGEOUS. You will need a car to go to Publix or check out Armand’s Circlefor a day of shopping. LBK is so layed back, clean, beautiful and I am jealous that I do not own the condo I rented. The owners are so kind! They treat you like family ensuring you are enjoying your stay! Check in and out simple!! I will be back, I wish I didn’t have to leave!

Fantastic getaway!

This townhome is a perfect getaway spot! It's located on a canal, and there are lovely breezes morning and evening so you are able to sit outside and enjoy the birds and jellyfish. There's something so soothing about the jellies spoosh spooshing their way through the water! Gulls, herons and egrets came to visit daily, and if you sat calmly, they hung out for at least 30 minutes! The home is wonderfully supplied with everything you need, from kitchen to outdoors. I ate all my meals there, and was able to cook to my heart's content! It was a nice surprise to have every kind of pot and pan I needed! The home is a short walk or very quick bike ride to the beach, and I found myself there each morning as the sun rose, watching the clouds change color over the Gulf. The hosts thoughtfully provide chairs and umbrellas for the beach, so you are able to head out and enjoy your day in comfort. I love the proximity to the nature preserve. I walked and biked through it each afternoon, watching for tree crabs, the grumpy raccoons, and various shorebirds. It's a beautiful area, and I loved being so close to it! The best part of this vacation spot is hands down, bar none, the amazing hosts! They were so incredibly kind and easy to work with! My travel schedule changed right before my trip, and they worked with me to accommodate my needs, which made all the difference to me. As well, they checked in several times during my stay to make sure everything was going well and that I knew all the wonderful places to visit on LBK! I've stayed in many VRBO homes over the years, but these are the BEST hosts you will ever meet! Simply put, I can't wait to visit again!!

Better than expected


The property in an ideal location with direct beach access within walking distance and plenty of sight seeing/restaurants. It has been recently updated and includes beach necessities (e.g., chairs, umbrellas, cooler, cart, towels). Great communication with the owners throughout the process and we were not disappointed!

My husband and I grew up in Margarita Island, Venezuela. We were at the beach every weekend and after getting married and relocating to NYC, we always dreamed of having our own place by the beach and give our two children the same opportunities we had. Our dream came true at Longboat Key... A little Paradise like no other!.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This home was love at first sight for us. It is a very well maintained townhome, in a quiet residential area with great neighbors. The view to the canal is our favorite part, for sure! and how close we are to the beach. It is a short walk (8-10 min depending on your pace) to the deeded access to the beach.
We love how spacious the house is, all the natural light, the sliding doors in the balcony and dining area overseeing the canal. The bedrooms have plenty of closet space. It is truly the best place to relax and enjoy all that Longboat Key has to offer.
