The separate unit was clean, up-to-date furnished, quiet, comfortable, and suitable for meal preparation with an uncrowded parking space. It is on a main street that goes straight to the downtown area and nearby local restaurants or turns to streets for nice older neighborhoods. Easy walks along sidewalks (30 to 60 mins) to the parade routes during the day and evening and always felt safe. Greatly appreciated the place and location.
My son and I enjoyed our stay here so much! The unit was spotless, well-equipped, and spacious (like a very large studio apartment--important for a rambunctious six-year-old :). It, and the picturesque house adjacent, complete with porch swing and all, is located in a charming part of Mobile--to a Northerner like me, it was the picture of Southern charm. The proprietor was friendly and communicative, and the rate was very reasonable. We'd love to stay here again! Thanks!
We traveled from Iowa to Mobile for training with Pilot, Inc. The apartment was perfectly located only 8.5 miles from the class location, making our commute very easy. Having a full kitchen was a godsend. It saved us a ton of money since I prepared 95% of our meals there, and having the washer and dryer in the unit was so convenient! We also brought our dog with us and walking her around the surrounding neighborhoods was a delight. I would definitely recommend booking this unit, and we will certainly stay here again if we're ever back in Mobile.
I was very pleased with how this stay turned out. This unit is one of a series being rented out. However, the others are all attached together in a remodeled house. This one was separated which I appreciated for the added privacy.
Located in a beautiful neighborhood and not far from anything that might be happening.
The room was clean, had all the amenities one could want, and was very comfortable. I suppose my only complaint in that regard is the AC is a window unit and was very loud. Not much of a problem for me when sleeping but was annoying when trying to wind down watching TV. :D
Overall this was a very nice stay and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a rental over a hotel.
Located in the Historic District of Mobile with beautiful old homes and an easy walk to restaurants. Charming rental with easy access and at the door parking. Perfect location for our vacation.
