Lovely home with wonderful amenities. We greatly enjoyed the spaciousness and hospitality!
Perfect for our familyâs Spring Break week in Mobile! Everything we needed for our baby as well as our 6 year old plus a great outdoor spot for meals in the back and swinging in the front. Very clean, highly thoughtful hospitality elements, and incredibly easy to get to all the sites of Mobile.
We made a quick trip to Mobile for Thanksgiving with our dog and 8 year old human. The Lafayette House was exactly what we needed. A cute, clean place to sleep in midtown that accepted our whole family! We especially liked how there was a crate set up and ready to use, dog bowls provided and a completely fenced yard.
Loved the neighborhood. First time staying in a Historic district. "AMAZING "
Easy peasy check in and out process. The property was beautiful and clean. We had 5 adults and one child and had plenty of room. The only minor issue we had was the chains on the fans were broken and the fold out couch was not so comfortable but We would definitely stay there again!
We stayed with friends here so it was important for us all to have our private space and decent size beds. This was the home for all of those things and then some. The house had many wonderful areas to congregate, living room, den, front porch, back patio. It was lovely. The front porch was my favorite. Itâs has all the fun quirks an old home has which I personally adored. Location is great. Central to downtown or west Mobile as the locals call it. We were 10-15 min away from everything outside of the neighborhood. We did not use the kitchen, but it appeared to be well stocked. We could only fit two cars (large SUV & mid size SUV) without blocking the sidewalk so thatâs something to keep in mind. Neighborhood is quiet. I was skeptical given the busy street, but we slept sound with a fan next to our bed. I would definitely stay here next time we are in Mobile. I thought I loved downtown until we came to midtown. đ
A clean quiet place to accommodate a work crew over the weekend. Other than WIFI (which Tavares mentioned was coming), we enjoyed the house. Reminded somewhat of the craftsmen style home I grew up in California. Appreciate your communication and hospitality.
Hello friends, I'm an Active Duty Service Member experiencing everything there is to enjoy about life. I'm a huge fan of traveling, physical fitness, yummy cuisine and spending time with my family and friends. The Lafayette House was established with family meals, laugher, togetherness, bonding and relaxation in mind. Some of the very same amenities I look for during my adventures. I encourage you to take a load off and stay a while. Welcome HOME
