Red Door Loft is a fully renovated two-bedroom, one bath in the heart of Mobile's Old Dauphin Way Historic District. The bold red door, dark gray board and batten facade, hand-built cedar shutters, and metal roof give the building real character before you ever walk in. Inside, every room is designed with intention. Hardwood floors. Quartz counters. Original local art. Curated furniture you would expect at a boutique hotel. The space includes two bedrooms, each with its own personality. The Boho room has a queen bed with a cane headboard, charcoal accent wall, and warm tones. The Coastal room has a king bed with an upholstered headboard, blue-gray walls, blackout curtains, a wall-mounted smart TV, and a working vinyl record player. The renovated bath features hexagon tile, subway tile walls, a pedestal sink, and a walk-in shower. The galley kitchen is fully stocked: stainless appliances, quartz counters, a deep farmhouse sink, brass pendant lights, a Keurig and French press coffee station, and everything you need to cook a real meal. A private deck off the back of the unit has teak bistro seating under a tree canopy.
Mornings here are the best part of the day. Location: steps from Dauphin Street's restaurants, coffee shops, and live music. Cathedral Square, the Saenger Theatre, and the Mardi Gras parade route are a short walk. The waterfront and downtown are a five-minute drive. Mobile International Airport is 4.1 miles away. Smart lock entry means flexible self-check-in. Free private driveway parking included. The garage is private owner space and not available for guests. The ADT security system is active. WiFi throughout. Central air and heat. Free in-unit washer and dryer. A few notes. This is a quiet, residential historic neighborhood. We ask for no parties, quiet hours after 10 PM, and no smoking inside (the deck is fine). Pets are considered on a case-by-case basis. Please ask before booking. Maximum four guests, age 25 and up, for booking. Across the street is a historic church with a small preschool; on weekday mornings, you may briefly hear children at recess, a sweet detail of the neighborhood. Mardi Gras here pre-dates New Orleans, so book early for late January and February. Welcome to Red Door Loft. Open the door, drop your bags, and let Mobile do the rest.
