Experiencing The Captains Quarters, our 2nd floor guest suite is a step back in time but with all the modern touches. My girlfriend and I stayed here for a weekend trip and loved it. Everything was very clean and well put together. The beach and many restaurants were within walking distance. We hope to stay here again the next time weâre in Galveston.
It was a perfect space for a cozy, romantic get-away. Loved the space and the decor, as well as the personalized note on the chalkboard with a recommendation of an activity that we would have missed out on otherwise. Host was very accomodating. All the things we could have wanted (beach chairs/toys, gas grill, etc.) were provided.
Great location 1 1/2-blocks from the beach. Very quaint and peaceful location, especially for couples. Everything was exactly as pictured including a few little extras. Had a wonderful experience. Will definitely stay again next time we're in Galveston.
The captains quarters was exactly as described. It has every thing you would need, and then some. The attention to detail was extra ordinary, and we appreciated it all. Eric, our host, was very easy to communicate with and very timely. We would definitely like to come stay there again.
This small little cottage was the perfect choice for me and my partner. It was so cozy, themed perfectly, and so very clean! Its location is also close to everything, we walked to the Pleasure Pier one evening. I felt very safe, and the parking is tucked away so that made us feel very safe also! Donât even hesitate! Just stay there! đ
The overall trip was good. Great access to the beach. Great porch and lounging place. However didnât realize there were 2 set of stairs to get to the place. Carrying baggage , 2 ice chest etc was rather difficult. The black stone that we were using to heat our breakfast up seemed to have run out of propane. The bathtub didnât hold the water in. I wish the fridge was bigger. Not much space to put leftovers. For the first couple of days we were the only ones parked where we were instructed to park. Then a car parked next to us. It Made itt difficult this morning trying to load side doors to my car to leave. Other than those few things it did what it was suppose to do.
