Nestled amongst the trees of the National Forest, it offered easy car access while still feeling wonderfully secluded.Mt. Ida itself is a charming small town, but you'll need to venture out for any significant shopping or dining.The cabin itself was exceptionally well-equipped with all the amenities we needed. The lack of WiFi, while initially surprising, actually proved to be a blessing, encouraging our family to disconnect and reconnect with each other. We would absolutely consider booking again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property was well stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, cookware, and small appliances. The fridge was cold and has ice and water in the door. The sheets, towels, and covers were plentiful and the beds were so comfortable. We could hear so lots of birds from the porch and decks and saw many deer in this very wooded area. This beautiful house and furnishings exceeded our expectations and we will be back. The driveway is long but goes all the way back down to the road on the other side of the house so you don't have to try to back a boat trailer up. We appreciated the owners' attention to detail and desire that we enjoy our stay. Can't wait to visit this house again!

Had a great time with family. Upstairs smoke detector was chirping so had to disconnect. Gas grill needs burner element replaced as all rusted and not working properly. Dangerous as is.

Family time

My family (four people) joined my sister’s family ( three people) for four nights after Christmas. We had a great time relaxing, sitting around the fire pit and playing board games. The cabin was so quiet and exactly what we all needed. We brought our groceries with us but there was a grocery store maybe 10 miles away. Close to Hot Springs but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of it all.

Very nice, quiet, and comfortable.

Very comfortable accommodations. Visited in November so not many vacationers in the area. Very quiet neighborhood. Everything worked well in house. If you plan on using the fire pit outside, bring some wood with you. We enjoyed one campfire before the rains started. Our 4 night stay was very relaxing and well worth it.

We loved the cabin, the pictures do not do it justice. It was very clean, safe quiet , and cute. I recommend this cabin to my friends. We came to AR to go crystal mining, we were only about 10 minutes from twin creek crystal mine, and we had a great time. Thank you Dorothy Peterson

This was an amazing property. Pictures do not do it justice. So clean! I’m take my sheets to hotels and did not use my own sheets. Amazing on cleanliness!!!!!!!They had everything in the kitchen we needed! 10 out out of 10. Hosts were amazing too! Thank you for sharing your home!

Very Relaxing

Our family had a wonderful time at this place. It was clean and very relaxing. The screened patio was perfect for card games and the couch was great for watching movies in the evening. It’s close to a resort to rent a boat and has a quaint little cafe that was delightful. We would definitely recommend this place!
