Neat log cabin! Rustic on the outside but very comfortable and mix of rustic and modern on the inside. Plenty of lighting, ceiling fans and seating. Kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need! Steps upstairs are steep, but we did not have an issue. Very quiet area - was very relaxing! Owner was great with instructions and communication. Pet friendly. We really enjoyed our stay!

Perfect glamping set-up for a family with a bunch of kids. We stayed in Spring , but I think it would really shine in the fall, particularly Halloween. The host provides everything you need for a great little fishing camping trip

The house was great and the stay was well worth it. An hour from Hershey park and 25 minutes to Gettysburg. The location is in a great spot with plenty of amenities. The home owner was great to work with and did a great job with the place. My suggestion for constructive criticism is that I felt like the check out procedure could have a been a little more organized in the papers left as they were kind of scattered throughout but that’s strictly being nit-picky. The creek was fun to fish, the fire place was amazing as well as the house set up being great. I loved the fact that you could close off the stairs for my little ones to not come down in the middle of the night. I wish more houses had that. Very grateful for everything provided from the home owner!

Loved our stay here! Brenda was an awesome host that checked on us and made everyday a breeze! This little cabin is just what my husband and I needed. There is a creek and kayaks. Bring your own life jacket - along with fishing gear to enjoy the creek! The early mornings on the deck were so peaceful. My favorite!! We enjoyed Gettysburg and exploring different little towns. We can’t wait to visit again and stay here. We loved the option of taking our pup. We didn’t this trip but will the next one!

This was our 5th VRBO cabin rental, and it had the most comfortable furniture yet! Every effort was made to make us feel at home. Beautiful flooring and cabinetry. Very relaxing area with lots of trees and a peaceful creek. Less than a half hour to get to Gettysburg, where there are lots of good restaurants and cute shops. Take the guided tours on the train or the bus, and don't miss the tour of the Dobbin House!

This was an excellent spot for a weekend getaway. The cabin was conveniently located near Gettysburg. The yard was perfect for our dog. It was a fun, safe weekend that we really needed. Plus, the owners were very friendly and helpful!

Adorable cabin

The cabin was great and easily accessible to everywhere we were staying. My husband loved the build of the cabin and the view of the fireflies across the field was memorizing.

What a great cabin! Beautifully kept with plenty of sleeping options. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Loved the yard, the firepit, and the creek out back. The bluegills kept the fishing entertaining!

Love This Place!

This was our second year staying at this property. It is lovely and feels like home. We hope to visit again one day. The area is lovely and central to a lot of activities. Highly recommend and the owner is a joy to deal with!

Where to begin lol, first off the host Brenda is extremely attentive and responds within minutes. I had a question in regards to the garbage disposal and Brenda responded within 5 minutes!!!! Secondly, the photos does not give the home justice. When we walked in we were just in awe with how beautiful the house was. The kitchen was FULLY stocked, all I had to do was buy the food I was going to cook for our meals. She even made sure our lil pup had everything he needed as well. I’m disabled so I’m not able to go up/down stairs but my husband slept in the main bedroom which is upstairs and he was very happy with the comfort of the king size bed. I slept on the queen sofa sleeper in the den, not so comfortable even with the padding that is provided lol but that is not her fault, due to my disability I am always in pain . Both bathrooms worked out great because I was able to put my shower chair in the downstairs stand up shower that was right next to the den and my husband had his own bathroom upstairs. Overall, I want to rate my stay at Brenda’s house a 10 because I truly did have a serene quiet weekend. I wasn’t able to walk down to the lake but from the deck it did look beautiful. Brenda, thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your home. It was a pleasure being there and we will return hopefully with our other doggie too, so he can also enjoy it as much as Timon (our little puppy) and we did!!!!!

Great place to stay

We just returned from spending a week here. The cabin was incredibly comfortable, the neighborhood was quiet, and everything was in close proximity to many historical sites. We very much enjoyed kayaking in Conewaga Creek behind the cabin and spending peaceful evenings on the deck. It was a great place for a vacation.
