Enjoyed our stay very much. Location to downtown very good. Of course itâs an older house but that adds to its charm. I would recommend for anyone looking to stay in Gettysburg.
We stayed at Culp House for 2 nights with 4 of our grandchildren. Staying in this charming, well-kept, older home in the historic district of Gettysburg seemed to help make history come alive. We toured the Battlefield and museum, and walked the neighborhood. History was everywhere!
We had a wonderful stay at this vacation rental! The house was very clean, full of historical charm, and perfectly located just minutes from the adorable downtown Gettysburg area. There was plenty of space for our group to spread out, and the home was well-equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy Gettysburg!
Absolutely wonderful. Walking distance to historic downtown.Beautiful house! We highly recommend it.Our host was easy to communicate with and helpful with local questions.
Great Victorian house that enhanced our Gettysburg experience. My family walked in and all I heard was Wow!, This is awesome!, and This house is amazing!." Kuddos to the housekeeper as the cleanliness and attention to detail is exceptional! The patio/garden area was delightful for morning coffee and evening chats. Convenient location from the Square and Battlefield. I honestly have nothing but great things to say about the house except for the street noise, so bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper.
The Culp House is absolutely beautiful, comfortable and spotless. Rooms are well appointed, the amenities were thorough. Conveniently located to so many historical sites. I highly recommend the Culp House.
The Culp house was the perfect place for our family getaway with friends. The location is ideal for walking into town. The house is spacious and was very clean and well supplied.
Great place. Loved it for my family celebrating our son's graduation from Gettysburg College. We all enjoyed the home feel experience. The home is well kept and clean. Instructions were perfect. Thank you to our host.
Very unique and clean house in an excellent location in downtown Gettysburg. If we visit the area again, we would not hesitate to rent the same house. A big thank you to our hosts!
Visiting Gettysburg with friends. First time for them about 8th time for me. The Culp House was great. It added to the experience. Plenty of room. Enjoyed sitting out back in the yard enjoying afternoon cocktails. Location was also a plus. We were able to walk to dinner both nights - including ice cream stops. And a few minute drive to the park Highly recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to Gettysburg.
My friend and I (40 women) randomly chose Gettysburg and this house got a quick getaway to relax. The location of the house makes it perfect for walking to anywhere in the center of town. The only slight negative to this was the noise. It is a busy road with lots of morning traffic and trucks. Other than that this home was wonderful!is that it was not a quiet street
The house is exactly as advertised and the hosts were very responsive ahead of our trip. The house was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. The backyard was perfect and the checkin process was easy and smooth. Would definitely stay here again and recommend
My family has stayed here twice and been thrilled with the house and its location. Itâs in good shape, well stocked, and right by Gettysburg and an easy drive to Liberty Mountain.
This property was perfect for our family of 4 adults. It was very clean. The beds were soft and there was plenty of bedding. The kitchen had everything necessary to prepare meals. It was conveniently located to downtown. A perfect place to come home and regroup after a day of sightseeing.
We love staying at the Culp House. We want for nothing during our trip. This year it rained so we were unable to enjoy sitting outside on the beautiful patio.
Tessa Barclay-Duncan and Brian Duncan have owned the award-winning Brickhouse Inn B&B for over fifteen years. They purchased the Culp House & Cricket House seven years ago for guests who have families that would prefer a vacation rental house to the traditional B&B.
These attractive houses can be rented together (sleep 10), or separately (Culp House sleeps 6; Cricket House sleeps 4). They have a great location, five minutes walk from the town center, and 100 yards from the entrance to the Battlefield.
