LOOKS BETTER IN THE PICTURES
Check in issues with heat/ac, lack of glasses anf forks, and left over smelly trash were resolved quickly. We were, however, extremely disappointrd with the condidion of the living roomroom, dining room and deck furniture. Photos available if needed.We had serious safety concerns about the wobbly handrails on the front steps, deck and indoor stairs. We were a party of 9 originally. Unfortunately only 7 of us were able to make the trip. Lucky thing, because there were only 7 sets of towels.The kitchen was well supplied with cooking tools, but severely lacking in dishes, larrge pots, and coffee cups. We had to purchase a new pot and a strainer to make soup. There were only 2 tiny dish towels. Only 1 bathroom had a trash can. We were visited by 2 cockroaches. Seversl light bulbs were out. The fan did not work in the #1 master bathroom. Lastly there were no directions on using tvs, appliances or heat/ac.
It is a very nice property, but in our opinion, it has been very poorly maintained. We have rented from VRBO many times over the last 10 years and have never had to submit a bad review. The response from the owner/property manager indicated that prior ratings have been exemplary. My question to him is. " When is the last time you visited the property and inspected it in detail yourself?"
