Be the first to enjoy your Hilton Head Island stay in this unbelievably amazing ranch home for up to 12 guests and located in the heart of Shipyard! Private pool installed April of 2022! Situated on a gorgeous .7-acre lot, this home has undergone a massive transformation that will be the highlight of your vacation.

The former mother-in-law suite is now a spacious pirate-themed suite complete with stairs to a pirate ship loft (a really cool crow's nest!) where the kids can hang out and watch TV, play games, and claim their own space. This suite also has a full bath and kitchenette and two sets of twin over full bunk beds just perfect for 6. You don't have to even be a kid to enjoy this unique space!

Adults have their own comfy spaces, so don't be jealous of the kid's accommodations! Bedrooms 3 and 4 each have a king bed, and bedroom 2 has two twin beds. There are 3 more beautifully appointed bathrooms providing plenty of space for everyone.
And wait until you see the phenomenal living area with stacked stone floor-to-ceiling fireplace, huge wall-mounted TV, French doors to the patio, super-comfy seating and open to the dining area with classic touches, such as wainscoting and cove ceiling. The kitchen is simply beyond words. You don't have to even like cooking to enjoy the beauty and functionality of this space. All new appliances, granite countertops, just everything even the most particular chef could want. If you need to do laundry while you're here, there is a great laundry room with new washer and dryer to add to the convenience of your stay.

Don't even think we would forget about the exterior of this "Shangri-La"! There is a luxurious patio with a gas firepit you will definitely want to enjoy. AND, a brand-new pool (dimension of pool is 15 x 32) installed in April of 2022! The large front driveway will accommodate your cars and the landscape is so appealing. This must be what Paradise is like!

Shipyard vacation

This is a great house for families with small children! Each bedroom had its own bathroom which made it very pleasant for our family! The only negative was the door to the bunk rooms wouldn’t latch nor was there a kiddy gate to block the steps to the pirate ship area! We have a great stay and will be back!

great place for families

We enjoyed having our families come together at this house. The kids suite worked out very well for the 6 kids ranging from 6-14. We also really enjoyed the swimming pool. The floor could have used a better cleaning, and we did have to battle some ants around the pool (which management arranged for some big spray to help.). All in all, it was a great stay. Thank you.

Fun in the Sun

Loved the pool for our small grandchildren. They loved the pirate room. Very quiet area with really nice bike paths. Not having to bring beach towels were also a plus.

Excellent multi family house

This house was perfect for 2 families! We had a ton of room, enjoyed the pool and the quiet location, and the house and back yard were beautiful. The kitchen had all basic supplies but we did dishes a ton bc there wasn’t a whole lot of everything. Would definitely stay at this property again! It was nice to have 2 masters and a kids bunk room and loft area! Loved the layout ❤️

The only complaint would be the need for curtains in the pirate room bathroom and on the door to the room. The house is beautiful and we especially loved the pool!

Perfect for everyone!

We arrived on Sunday and were able to get in early (perfect after a long drive). 7 Salem Rd. did not disappoint. The kids enjoyed the Pirate Ship from day 1. Each group had their own room and bathroom. Pool was awesome. Great way to start and end the day. The home had everything we needed for our trip. Shipyard was a great area for us. Quiet with easy access to other areas on the island. Beach was easily accessible

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was beautiful and in a nice location. My family had a great time. The only issues were hornet nests, and roaches on the property. We called the maintenance crew once, and they were over to the house immediately. I would suggest an updated vacuum and broom/dust pan.

Relaxing getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was very clean and having the pool was very nice. The house was recently redone and there was construction debris still in the yard which was a little unflattering and there was severe plumbing issues close to the end of our stay. However this seemed to be a pipe issue in the street and not the house. A little further from the beach then would have liked but all the kids loved their own wing of the house and the bike rides to the beach.

A fabulous home in a fantastic area.

Our overall stay at 7 Salem was fantastic. Our growing family of 12, with age ranges from 2-68, all found there to be plenty of space. Each individual family had their own bedroom & bathroom which was ideal. The pool was absolute perfection and the sun shelf was fabulous for the littles. It was made even nicer having some pool toys at our disposal. Of course the pirate ship loft was a huge hit. I’d leave a numeric 4.9 * review only because, our last night, we stayed up late and discovered some palmetto bugs in the living room. We killed them, but I sent an email to the management company as we left and was disappointed they didn’t contact me to simply acknowledge receipt of the email. It’s such a lovely home and I would want future renters to enjoy their stay as much as we did.

Great Vacation!

The property was absolutely perfect for our family! It was everything we expected and then some in regards to space and layout. The kiddos LOVED the bunk bed/pirate ship room and it accommodated the 4 younger ones wonderfully well. The two larger bedrooms were very comfortable and bigger than we realized from pictures. Our oldest loved her twin room also. The decor was gorgeous and inviting and the house was VERY clean upon arrival. The pool was a huge hit and now we don't ever want to stay somewhere without one!! You cannot go wrong with this location and the property management. We had one glitch and I am EXTREMELY pleased with their promt attention and customer care. They truly take pride in their properties and more so their guests! I highly recommend this property! *The walk/drive to the beach was no issue! Rent bikes! The ride is beautiful!

For our first time to Hilton head we felt like this was a great location central to everything we wanted to do. Everyone with us (6 in total) thought the beds were extremely comfortable. We paid to have the pool heated which was a great decision since the kids ended up using it every day once we returned to the house each night and it would have been to cold if we hadn’t. A few suggestions to for improvement would be to 1. Replace the door to the kids room so no windows in it and it needs a doorknob for privacy. This room should also have blinds on all windows the teens weren’t very happy that it was so bright each morning. 2. Have a speaker available especially for out near the pool area. 3. The couch was not very comfortable.

Great family house!

We had a wonderful family trip with six adults and six kids 8 and under! The kids loved the pirate room and loft, while the private bedrooms with attached bathrooms were great for the adults. Even though it was hot while we were in town, I'm glad we paid to heat the pool. I think the $550 is a little steep, but the pool doesn't receive direct sun most of the day and would have been chilly otherwise. Plus, they did heat it to 88 degrees for us, which felt great for late day swims. It was great to have nice beach towels on hand (and lots of laundry pods to use), but I do wish the house included some beach chairs/umbrella as most rentals do. Otherwise, I thought the house had a well-stocked kitchen and having the second fridge was great for keeping drinks cold. The house was very clean and we didn't see any bugs. We also really enjoyed having access to the Shipyard beach. It was just as good as Coligny without the parking challenges. A few things need replacing (the iron did not work, the washer only spins on heavy duty cycle, drains in bathrooms are a little clogged) and I think it just hasn't been a rental long enough for people to leave behind things like board games. The host was super responsive when messaging and I felt like I could have reached them anytime for an urgent issue. Overall, the house was in a great central location and we would totally stay here again.

Beautiful location

We enjoyed our stay at 7 Salem in shipyard. The house was so spacious! We had plenty of room for our extended family of 10 (ages 7 weeks to 66 y/o). The kids loved the loft area, their bunk room & the beautiful pool! We did pay to have the pool heated, although I thought it was pretty pricey. The only reason I gave it a lower rating is because I felt that it could have been better stocked. It could definitely use more serving bowls, a drying rack for dishes, more garbage bags (we were given only 2 for a whole week with 10 people) toilet paper (again not given enough for the amount of people staying.) Also, since the place is geared toward kids with the bunk room, would have been nice to include some games, books, toys, sand & pool toys. Most beach vacation rentals include those type of things. We were just told to rent them. (We did rent a very large bag of sand toys from lowSea bike , beach & baby rentals, along with our pack n play that was a good price). All in all, we enjoyed our stay. Definitely rent bikes. We biked everywhere & the kids loved biking to the beach & restaurants and seeing the alligators on the way!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at 7 Salem rd. Loved the layout of the house, the pool the neighborhood and HH overall. There are a few things that could be updated within the house: couch is starting to sag when sitting on it. The kitchen was not stocked with a lot of kitchen items such as pots and pans. They will need to be replaced soon. We appreciated the plastic glassware, but would have loved to have some plastic plates and bowls to use poolside. The house could use a good deep clean: walls had stains on them like something was dripping down them and it was sticky, baseboards were dusty and had hair on them. Inside the couch/chairs needs to be cleaned in between stays. We found a pair of underwear in the chair cushion when we got there. The management group was very attentive to our needs and answered questions in a timely manner. The house sleeps 12 people but we were only able to get 2 cars passes and would have to pay for more if needed.

Wonderful Place to Stay - 7 Salem

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to HHI yearly and this home was our favorite place we have stayed. The pool and kids rooms were wonderful, the whole house was decorated beautifully and comfortably. the bathrooms for the main bedrooms could use a remodel just as far as ease of bathing kids or more updated showers but they were still nice and fully functional. Kitchen provided all of the things you need and there were plenty of towels. Wish it was a little bit less expensive to heat the pool for the week. We love Shipyard it is our favorite place to stay on the Island. Love being in the gated community Witt bike paths all the way to the beach very easy to get around and we could always get parking down at the beach with the kids and all of our stuff. Highly recommend this house. We had two families stay here together and would have had room for additional guests. We had a few small glitches with payment processing and the amount of gate passes on pick up day but the staff from host 2 coast was professional and helped get everything resolved.

Nice Stay - A few minor improvements would help

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The house is in a great neighborhood and had everything we needed. We played golf at the Shipyard Golf Course and it was in great shape. We really enjoyed the private pool as well! There are a few items in the house that could use some attention (broken shelf in the pantry, master bathroom tub that needs repair, ceiling fans that had not been dusted in a very long time), but nothing that would keep us from coming back. Parking at the beach access is very limited and it was difficult to find open parking spots, especially in the afternoon.
