Please know, we always strive for guests to have a five star stay, and are always grateful for feedback, but this is the first time anyone has commented about the bed being too hard or the pillows lacking support. I chose a high quality foam mattress because of the support and comfort factor it offered. Several guests have commented that they have had the best night sleep. Sorry to hear, you did not but as you know a mattress firmness is very subjective. If there was a specific type of mattress you had a preference for I wish you would have asked before you booked the property. As for the four pillows I supply, they have since been replaced, but honestly there was nothing wrong with them. Please read the many five star reviews this property has, you will get a sense that customer satisfaction is my main priority. Although I appreciate your feedback, your personal preference should not be a factor in determining an honest rating. I am disappointed to read this review especially after you sent a lot of positive feedback privately including "What a lovely place you have, with so many nice touches. I may use some of your touches myself on our places back in Scotland. We particularly like the towels and all the bits and bobs in the kitchen and the coffee pods. We didn't expect either!" and even, "We will definitely recommend your place to friends and family".
