Carriage House with Beautiful Water View, Steps to Beach & Main Street
Located overlooking Chatham's beautiful Oyster Pond, this two bedroom carriage house is the perfect location for your Cape Cod vacation. Take advantage of the beach just outside your door or wander down the street into Chatham center! Enjoy so much of Chatham - without even getting in your car!
The Carriage House is located adjacent to (but not accessible directly from) the Windmill. With large windows overlooking Oyster Pond's beautiful water and gorgeous sunsets, this second-story unit is a lovely spot for relaxing at the end of a fun-filled day. The Carriage House has a recently renovated full kitchen, dining area and living room with TV, as well as two bedrooms (sleeping four people) and a full bathroom. The Carriage House also has a private patio space with BBQ grill.
Below the Carriage House, the space has been renovated to include a game room, with foosball and a ping pong table. This space also includes shared laundry machines.
Linens (bed and bath) are included for the 2022 season. This property has two neighboring units (the Sea Captain's House and the Windmill) that share the driveway and parking. If you are interested in booking these units as well, please inquire.
We have stayed at the carriage house on this property a few times and itâs always a great stay. Walkable to everything Chatham has to offer and a great set up for a small family. We will return!
Fabulous location with incredible views of the water, short walk to town, cute second floor condo is clean and well-maintained. Would definitely recommend!
My girls and I had a great stay. Main Street and shops are a very short stroll away. The Carriage House had everything we needed. The proximity to the Oyster Pond beach was fantastic. Thanks!
My family of 4 stayed at the Carriage House in July 2024 and had a lovely time. The home was clean and well equipped. The air conditioning worked great and the water pressure was perfect after a long day of adventuring. The large windows in the living area were wonderful as we could wake up to see the beautiful view of the local area. We enjoyed the natural breeze coming through the windows in the evening.
It is a short walk away to Main St. where you'll find plenty of restaurants and shops. It's also a 3-5 minute walk to Oyster Pond Beach. Oyster Pond Beach is very calm and good for little kids but make sure you wear water shoes because there are lots of sharp shells and rocks. The property is walkable (about half hour) to Chatham Lighthouse Beach which is gorgeous. We had a great time in Chatham staying here!
My wife's family and I stayed at this house at had the most wonderful time and best experience we could ask for.
The house is quintessential old Cape, with all of the old charm but definitely some house upgrades that made it usable and functional for us. We had two families with 1 year olds, an adult brother, and nanny in the Sea Captain's house (different listing) but we added this house so her parents had their own space and it was perfect.
The living room and kitchen were perfect for a small family or group of couples and gave plenty of lounge space but two great bedrooms as well. The view is phenomenal and the house has been super well maintained while also having that Cape charm.
The house is outside of downtown, so it feels very private and secluded. But it's also 4-5 minutes walking to downtown and 2-3 minutes from a great grocery market and CVS as well as a small inlet beach.
The owners were super thoughtful and communicative. They were also very responsive when we had a quick question. Truly first class experience all round.
We're hoping to make a visit to this house a recurring trip from San Francisco!
Loved our stay in the Carriage House! Great location, great views, and well cared for space. Felt like a home away from home. Kitchen was well stocked, and entire home was very clean. We enjoyed ping pong in the game room too. House and windmill on same property were occupied but we never heard other people from the Carriage House. We enjoyed walks to the pond in the morning and to dinner in the evenings. Twin beds were great for our teen kids to have their own space. Highly recommend and hope to return!
