Welcome to “Belle Ile”! This villa has been beautifully updated by new owners!
Beachwood Place is an amazing ocean-front beach retreat with a great pool and only steps to the ocean. Belle Ile is like you are in a treehouse with views of the ocean! A great open floor plan with plenty of room to lounge and relax. This fantastic villa includes a fully stocked kitchen, bar seating, a large living room with plenty of seating, 2 bedrooms & 2 baths. The living room and both bedrooms have 55” smart TVs. The moment you step inside Belle, it's like a calming relaxation where you can relax! What truly makes this Villa so special is the ability to enjoy the spectacular sunrises while relaxing on your own private balcony that overlooks trees and nature. And you are just steps away from the pool and the beach!

Beachwood Place is a gated complex with only 24 units, a private pool that has an abundance of chairs, tables, umbrellas, and a BBQ area. It also features bike racks, an elevator, a washer & dryer on two floors, including on the same floor as Belle Ile, and private beach access. This Villa is located in the heart of the South Forest Beach/Coligny area close to many local restaurants, shops, grocery stores, and the brand new park, Lowcountry Celebration Park! You are within 5 min walk of all of this. The best way to enjoy Hilton Head is by bike. There are so many paths to explore! You can rent bikes from a number of bike rental companies that can deliver directly to Beachwood Place. Hilton Head has something for everyone, whether it’s basking in the sun or searching for wildlife!

Wonderful Stay

We loved our trip here. The area that we were in was great. We were super close to a lot of shopping, food, etc. It was great and the beach was super nice and private so it wasn’t as crowded as some of the other areas close to us. The pool was never crowded. We were just overall super happy with this location

The space was very clean and comfortable! The chlorine odor was somewhat overwhelming and took a few days to resolve. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and utensils. You will need to purchase extra dishwasher soap if you run the dishwasher more than twice. You will also need to purchase tissues(we left some for the next visitors), laundry detergent, and dryer sheets. There is no change machine in the laundry so get your quarters ahead of time. You can just see the beach from the balcony. It’s very pleasant to sit on the balcony! You’re in the trees. The beach is 5 minute walk. We walked the beach almost everyday. It was too cold for us to go in the ocean but the location will be great in the warm weather. The pool is very convenient to the condo and will be great when it’s warmer. Better information regarding how to exit the parking lot would have been helpful. You have to drive right up to the gate so the sensors will detect your car. The gate will then slowly open. Overall, this vrbo fit our needs.

The unit is wonderful and is remodeled. The walk to the beach is about 3 minutes, so very close. The hosts answered all questions promptly. Make sure you bring quarters for the washer and dryer and bring towels, there is only 2 towels available per person for the week.

Wonderful villa

My family really enjoyed our stay, the location cannot be beat with easy access to beach, Coligny Park and new Adventure Playground. The villa was immaculately clean and had nearly everything we needed. Check in and out processed were very easy. Highly recommmend!

The location is superior. Being able to walk to the shops and restaurants at Hilton Head is a huge advantage. Everything is as advertised. Clean, nicely equipped and supplied. The condo complex is relatively small, which I think is an advantage. Perfect for what we were looking for and wanted.

Condo was exactly as described and was clean and comfortable during the entire stay. Beach chairs and wagon was nice added touch to make the walk to the beach easier. Locating the entrance was a bit confusing on the first arrival but easy once you knew which entrance to pull into. Great location on the island.

Great spot, great vacation!

We thought this condo was perfect! At first I was a bit worried about the size of the unit because we have stayed at larger places in the past, but it didn’t feel small at all. Plenty of space for all of us including space for our kids to play. The location is awesome. We walked to restaurants and the giant playground every day and being right on the beach made everything so much easier. We would absolutely stay here again!

Hilton Head get away

The location is great. The condo was newly renovated and exceptionally clean. The owners let us know when the condo was available for check in which was about 2 hours early. They left us a welcome gift and checked on us during our stay. The beds were very comfy. The beach chairs and beach wagon were an unexpected surprise. I would recommend staying in the condo.

Charming property on the beach

Nice condo with partial ocean view from balcony. *Loved having beach chairs to use all week. The pool was oceanfront. Kids loved it. The hose was right there to wash off sand. Easy walk to town for eating restaurants, shops, ice cream, Piggly Wiggly. Beach was way less congested than even a short walk north. Beds were ok. Unit was clean and as expected. Laundry was $2 total in quarters per load. Elevator was useful when we had large loads, but mostly took the steps for quicker access.

Great Family Vacation on HHI

We had a great time staying at Beachwood Place! This was our first time staying in this complex and have stayed in several properties over the years in HHI. Pros: Communication with host was great, as well as being able to check-in early. Unit was very clean, with tasteful decor. Gated access made the property and parking very secure. Couch was perfect for our kids to kick-back and relax. Unit is very quiet and soundproof. Wagon, beach chairs, and sand toys were much appreciated (we also left ours for the next guests to hopefully enjoy). Loved all of the hooks both inside and outside - something that may seem small, however for hanging all of our items was so appreciated. Beds were comfortable and unit stayed nice and cool with the AC set-up. Finally, the location is outstanding - the pool was never crowded and the beach was less crowded than other areas. Short walk to the plaza and fun for the whole family! Minor cons for suggestion: a fridge with an ice-maker would be a great addition. Beach towels and hand soap pumps would be nice. Laundry is down the hall, so be prepared with change (it’s $1 in quarters for each load & dry). The coffee pot is a Keurig - we brought ground coffee instead of pods (not a huge deal just something to be mindful of). Overall, all pros outweighed any of the cons. Thanks again for a great week of memories with our family.

Perfect spot for a long weekend!

I only have the highest of praise for our weekend at Belle Ile. Beachwood Place has been our favorite Hilton Head complex for a while because of the perfect location and proximity to the beach, bike paths, and restaurants at Coligny, but this is our first stay in this unit. Chuck and Susan were perfect hosts from communication before check in, to the lovely goodies that were there for us upon arrival, to the message once we were there making sure were settled. The condo itself was extremely clean, tastefully decorated, and had everything we could have needed for our stay. The welcome book they provided was thorough and informative as well. We enjoyed biking, the pool, eating seafood, and of course, spending time on the beach. It was so nice to have a beautiful and comfortable spot to return to each evening. We loved our stay there with our young adult kids. Thank you so much, Chuck and Susan! We'll look forward to staying with you again the next time we are privileged to visit Hilton Head!

Great vacation spot

We had a great time at Hilton Head at Belle Ile. We had not stayed here before but the accommodations were just as described. The updates were nice. I am very particular about cleanliness and it was perfect!! The owners responded quickly to any questions. I always wish for more hooks to hang items such as towels, swimsuits, etc. but for the first time we had more than enough. This is regarding the location and not the unit, but the beach was a lot more crowded than we are used to but the pool was never crowded and was a good respite from the crowds on the beach.

Ocean view and walking distance to Colugny Plaza

Condo was very clean and included linens, towels, beach toys, and beach cart with two chairs. Property right on beach which has gate access and is a very wide beautiful beach. Walking distance to Tiki bar and Coligny Plaza with shops and restaurants. Would stay there again in the future.

We hope all the hard work we have put into completely remodeling our Villa helps you make great memories! Much love was put into the remodel so the stay is the most enjoyable and relaxing for whoever is at "Belle"!
