"We really enjoyed our stay at this townhome. It has been beautifully redone. The kitchen is well stocked. There is plenty of seating in the living room that overlooks an inlet. The bedrooms are spacious with very comfortable beds. We had access to the dock and were able to take our kayaks out every day. In addition, we were within walking distance to the Salty Dog and the beach was right across the street. And we were able to take our fur baby!! Sea Pines is one of my most favorite places in HHI. Biking on the beautiful property is so enjoyable. I highly recommend this townhome."

This spacious 3-bedroom, 3-bath Port Villa townhouse has a fabulous view of Braddock Cove. The light-filled first floor features a newly renovated kitchen which now opens into the spacious living room and dining room. The first floor also has a guest bedroom with twin beds and full bath. The primary bedroom has a king size bed with a newly renovated en-suite bathroom and is located on the 2nd level. There is another twin bedroom on the second floor with a full bath.

Unique to the Port Villas, the boat dock is available for your boat, kayak or wave runner. This is a superb location for water sports, tennis or biking enthusiasts. Second Thoughts

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We liked the location, walkable to South Beach which was nice. The kitchen and bathrooms were updated and very nice. Upon approaching the front door of the unit we were already having second thoughts because the front door was beat up and very dirty which made it very unwelcoming. We enjoyed the porch having the Waterview but the patio door tracks were extremely dirty and on the outside of the patio doors there was mold. This was a turn off to us. The upstairs king bed really needs to be replaced. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable and needed a regular size box spring.

Another great stay in South Beach!

Wonderful location, beautiful view, easy check in. Minor issue during our stay which was handled smoothly by Host2coast. And added bonus that our four legged family member was welcomed.

Nice place with a couple of hiccups

We enjoyed this location near South Beach, a ten minute walk away. The beach's beauty is captivating, though high tide submerges it almost entirely, so plan your beach time during lower tide. Access to the beach is only available by foot. The map in the villa is not entirely clear. Follow the map across the road; look for the yellow fire hydrant-the path is beside it. The villa's interior is updated, newer looking floors, and a well-equipped kitchen. The king bed is very hard/firm but the twin beds are comfortable. Sewage backed up into the downstairs bathtub our last night, and we were told to just close the door and not use any water. The small yard was nice for our two dogs. FYI- the villas are very close together. The neighbors ran back and forth through our yard screaming throughout the stay with little regard to us or our dogs enjoying the space. Our check-out experience was jarring as a male (cleaner) entered without knocking and with an attitude, almost letting our dogs out, and well over and hour before check out time. The thermostat is set to 76 overnight and every night we were woken up due to being uncomfortable. We communicated with the office a few times with questions and only the last message about sewage received a response. A little disappointing when we had an emergency car repair and had hoped for a friendly recommendation for a shop. We enjoyed most of our stay and loved the South Beach!

Great Location

The Villa is located in a great spot and the beach access although a bit hard to find was awesome once we found it. The Villa is older as most are in HH but had a nice remolded kitchen and a nice water view of the bay inlet. Overall it was a nice vacation villa in a great location in Sea Pines. The bed in the Master bedroom needs an upgrade as it is not comfortable and a bit rough to sleep in, actually it was awful! The disappointing and frustrating part was the owners lack of respect for us a tenant and complete ignorance to our privacy and purpose of being on vacation. On Wednesday morning we got a knock on the door and a tree contractor was there advising that they were doing work and we would have limited access to the Villa. Thursday morning we were awoken by a stump grinder at the front window and then 30 minutes later a pressure washer which when I opened the door I got a face full of dirt and water. There was a guy on the back deck with a hose spraying the deck and windows so there went our privacy so we left. When we returned the strong smell of bleach took our breath away and not knowing where it was from we entered the villa. We had drops fall on us and once in the villa it was discovered to be bleach which ruined my wife's new dress and gave me an acid burn. We contacted the host however they stated they were sorry but did not know work was being done and would contact the owner. Our vacation was ruined at that point.

Perfect location

Our second stay at this condo. It was clean and spacious. Management staff could not have been nicer. Beautiful view, quiet and within a short walk to the beach. Loved it!

Host2Coast was great. But, the property needs some TLS

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Host2Coast was great to deal with, and the location and layout of the property were great. But, lots of little things (not deal killers, but enough that they required attention) went wrong with the property - it looks nice, but needs some serious TLC. Examples include - vanity door that broke off the vanity the first time we opened it, screen slider that came off the rails, washer that failed/locked with our wet clothing still in it, dryer is missing the lint filter, iron blew a fuse, window shade fell off the roller, etc. H2C responded quickly to any issues, but there shouldn't have been so many issues!

New Years at Port Villa

1598 Port Villa has a beautiful view of the inlet and marsh through 2 story glass windows. There is a porch and access to the backyard. The property has natural and grass areas that were perfect for walking our dog. Port Villa is secluded but walking distance to restaurants, shopping and the beach.

Kitchen, baths, TV's, cable service and charging outlets are up to date and excellent. We will return again. This property is a short walk to the beach and South Beach Marina restaurants and shops. Beautiful deck with lagoon view. The best of Sea Pines in your backyard accessible by bike. A great vacation place.

Very nice Condo and great location.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was good it was close to our relatives who were also staying in the same complex. It was very clean and plenty of towels provided for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked but missing a electric mixer. It had been updated which was very nice and we loved it opened up to the kitchen. The wall had been taken down. The only complaint we had my husband and I ended up sleeping downstairs in the bedroom with twin beds. The beds were very noisy every time you got in and out of bed. We think they need new mattresses. Or if you moved in the bed it was so noisy. Overall the condo was very nice and well equipped with everything we needed. It was very clean and plenty of towels for everyone. But the only complaint we had were the twin beds in the downstairs bedroom were very noisy!! My husband and I ended up sleeping down there. Every time you moved in the bed or got in or out of the bed it was so noisy. And the floor was noisy too as you walked on it. Other than that it was great. We loved the open floor plan into the kitchen. We had rented others and they still had the wall there. The condo was updated which was very nice!! The location was good. We love this Port Villas. This is like our 5th year staying here.

Quiet area that is dog friendly. Looks like kitchen area and baths have been remodeled and are very nice.The upstairs master bedroom furniture appears to be old and dirty with broken draw pulls. I do not mind old if functional and clean. The front door and entrance was extremely dirty with trash under the steps, mold on the wall and a very dirty front door. Luckily, we spent much of our time out of the condo and still had an amazing vacation. Although this rental was a bit disappointing, I would recommend it if it had repairs or updates.

Perfect weekend getaway!

This was a fantastic spot! Clean and lovely little welcome bag. Plenty of space for our family of 4. Great communication with the property manager, super responsive. We will definitely be back!

Terrific spot in South Beach

Great place. Nice and open feel on first floor. Had a couple minor issues and the property management folks fixed within hours. Easy walk to beach and Salty Dog/marina. Only suggestion is to leave directions on how TVs work (live tv, netflix, etc.). Would stay here again!

Clean, Comfortable, and Fully Stocked

The condo was really clean and the kitchen had everything that was needed. The living room sectional was so roomy and comfortable. Bring a fishing pole and fish of out the backyard. Walks on the beach were great!

Great Property

Great location close to the beach and amenities of South Beach. This unit is nicely updated with a beautiful kitchen and three modern baths. The canal view from the rear of the property is outstanding. Basically, everything you could want for your visit to HHI.

Nice Sea Estuary

The original listing we chose had to be replaced because the property renovation had not been completed. The property manager found another property with an even better view, and granted us some exceptions, and we are grateful for that. We saw lots of wildlife in the salt marsh - pelicans, dolphins, a sea otter, cormorants, ducks, all of which we enjoyed. Unfortunately, we lost a day to unannounced maintenance on the exterior of our property. Because it was unannounced, we didn’t feel comfortable leaving (they might have entered without our permission). But, we understand the need for maintenance and that this is the time of year for maintenance. We appreciate what the property managers did to insure everything went relatively well, and understand how it is difficult to find and keep quality maintenance workers in a reliable schedule. We will be sure to ask about maintenance before booking a property in the future. (And, we would recommend this property to friends).

Excellent Location with Great View

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was great with a short walk to the shops at the Salty Dog, tennis courts and pool. The walk to the ocean was a bit longer but not bad. It was very relaxing stay. The renovated kitchen and master bath are great.
