Guest reviews routinely mention the homemade baked goods (I owned a bakery in the past), cleanliness of the space, and the central location. There is a 3 night minimum for this apartment, however we also have a 3rd floor B&B space with only a 1 night minimum if you want a quick get away, and don't mind stairs. We can't wait to meet you!
First, it was beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean! Host (Connie) met us when we arrived, showed us around, and told us about local dining and places to see; and then she left us to enjoy the apartment and the town.
An absolutely beautiful spot from the cozy accommodations to the breathtaking gardens and koi pond! Home baked cookies and a Zucchini bread was a treat that lasted us our entire stay! The house is very neat and clean with many comforts of home! A short walk to restaurants , coffee shops and charming Jamestown center makes this rental the perfect place to stay!
Excellent location and easy access to everything! Connieâs place is comfortable and within easy walking distance to the ferry and waterfront area. Excellent host.
We had a rare weekend without kids and this apartment in the heart of Jamestown was perfect! We kept the car parked all weekend and walked, biked and took the ferry to get around all weekend. Super convenient location and cute and cozy apartment. Highly recommended!
Connie was a exceptional host starting with a homemade zucchini bread and choc. chip cookies, a basket of snacks and a bottle of wine. The property was spotless and all the accommodations you would need. Plenty of brochures in the room for things to do in the area even within walking distance. We had a wonderful time and would recommend to everyone.
The apartment is just as described. It was all recently updated and a very comfortable space for the two of us. Connie was an excellent host, there to greet us and show us around when we arrived. The homemade wine and cookies were delicious and very much appreciated.
There's a host's book with lots of helpful information. The location was ideal, right on the main street, and a short walk to incredible restaurants, shops and the water. We hope to return soon!
BEST place to stay for Jamestown and Newport vacations
Connie was an unbelievable host. Her property was perfect - clean, large, comfortable, and close to everything. She was attentive when needed and gave us snacks! Most importantly she knew everything about the surrounding area, and really helped us sculpt our trip (without being remotely overbearing). I am 100% staying here again next time Iâm in RI. Thank you Connie!
Great location. Close to little shops, bakeries, restaurants, even a small brewery. Walking distance to ferry. Friendly people. Lots to do without the noise and hassle. Connie was a great host. Clean and well kept. Connie had homemade goodies waiting for us and enough to get us started if we forgot something or didn't feel like going to the market. Highly recommend!
Connie was absolutely the best host we had so far. She welcomed us with a basket of treats and homemade pastries. The apartment was very well equipped and very clean. Connie was fast to answer our questions and made us confortable throughout our stay. The location on the main street was great, the firefighter station across the street was never an inconvenience. Overall one of our best stays. Thank you Connie!
We came to Jamestown to visit with family. This little apartment was just perfect! Super clean, new kitchen ware, spiffy bathroomâŠ.
And located steps from the harbor and restaurants.
We wondered if the fire station would be a problem but heard hardly a peep all week.
The landlady is a delight leaving cookies, wine and offfering help if needed.
We will surely book this apartment again! A+
This place is absolutely amazing!! My husband and I wanted to get away for a long weekend and the apartment was available. It was so cozy, very clean, and just the perfect spot! Within walking distance to the beach, the ferry, places to eat, and shops. Connie is the best! She left us homemade cookies, snacks, and a gift for staying. She also had brochures available in the apartment. We also loved the pond with the fish and all of the around. Just beautiful! We will definitely be back someday!
We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay in Jamestown. Our host was exceptional in every way. This apartment had everything you could ask for. Bed, sheets & towels were top quality. Also laundry facilities were easy to use & very clean. All our questions & concerns were dealt with immediately. Very friendly & cozy atmosphere. Walking distance to anything we needed was an added bonus. She handled our car emergency like family, turning a bad situation into a quickly resolved one. We can not say enough good things about this host & her commitment to her vacationers. We would HIGHLY recommend this vacation rental to anyone looking for a great place to relax or keep busy. You will find them both in Jamestown, Rhode Island
Gorgeous Apartment and Wonderful Host in Fantastic Location!
Our stay in Connieâs apartment was absolutely fantastic! She is an amazing lady and an incredible host who made us feel welcome immediately in her beautiful apartment. The apartment is bright, cheery and very clean with lots of storage space, and shelving. She decorated it beautifully and the attention to detail and effort she put into it to truly make it a home away from home was obvious to us both. She thought of every possible thing a visitor could need or want.
The full kitchen is large and sunny with lots of windows and everything we needed for eating in. One of her many amazing accomplishments throughout her life was being the owner of a bakery and, upon arriving, she made us the best homemade chocolate chip cookies Iâve ever had. On the morning of our departure, she gave us a freshly baked loaf of homemade zucchini bread with fresh zucchini from her garden⊠it was amazing!!!
The location of her apartment is perfect⊠right in the center of Jamestown in walking distance to restaurants, shops and the Jamestown Ferry.
Connie, we had a _wonderful_ time. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful apartment. Looking forward to returning next summer!!!
Originally from Wisconsin I hang on to that Midwestern hospitality. For many years I owned a bakery while also working part time as a dental hygienist for 37 yrs. Frank owns USSUPERNET.com a website development, hosting and consulting business. I love hosting people and try to give space to each guest while also making them comfortable during their stay. Snacks and goodies are provided upon arrival.
I started hosting in 2019 and have held on to my Super Host rating because we truly care, and want you to feel safe and relaxed. Unlike some properties that are owned by absentee owners we work hard to help you plan an enjoyable visit. I do reach out to you by text after you book so you have my contact information. I prefer communicating this way about arrival times because I like to be home to greet you. Check in is normally between 1-3pm. If you need later please LMK. Jamestown has great outdoor spaces and this location is central to it all. We have off street parking for one car here, and based on our location you can walk or bike anywhere. Don't have a bike? Rent one, one block away. Take the ferry to Newport for the day and enjoy the craziness of the famous area, then return to our quaint town. This is a three family, owner occupied home. We do ask for people to be respectful of quiet time after 11pm. No parties, vaping, pets, or smoking. Beavertail State Park is approximately 3 miles, and Ft Wetherill is 1.2 miles away, both beautiful and worth seeing.
Jamestown is a gem. Most guests say they wished they stayed longer. Since we have a central location you can walk or bike most places. Beavertail State park is 1.7 miles (3rd oldest lighthouse in the country). Fort Weatherall is 1.2 miles and famous for scuba divers, cliffs, hiking trails. Golf course near bye too. My guests love to go to Newport by way of the ferry, then come back to a quiet village vs the crowds in Newport. Kayak, paddleboard rentals available 1 block away. Walk to the beach or bike anywhere. Places to eat all within walking distance so no worries on where to park. I'm available 24/7 for any concerns or questions. Visit www.jamestowntownhall.com to view any ordinance concerns.
