Heart of Jamestown, In town location, 3rd floor suite, B&B style with King Bed
My home is in the heart of Jamestown island. Walking distance to the beach, marina, restaurants, market, shops, and the Newport ferry. We use top notch cleaning, which people often compliment. When you stay here you will occupy the Private 3rd floor, so you must be able to climb two sets of stairs, and carry your own luggage. You enter through the front door, pass through my living room and up to the suite where you have a King bed, bath, and sitting room. I'll be home to greet you and get you oriented. You are free to enjoy sitting at the pond. Mini fridge, Microwave, toaster, coffee, fruit and treats to start and end your day! Continental breakfast provided. We have earned a 5 star rating, and want to stay that way by making your visit safe and special, so let me know if you are celebrating a happy time. I also have a king, one bedroom apartment available on the first floor if you want a separate entrance and space, there is a 3 night minimum. Property id is 2592101. Please note there are no pets allowed, smoking or vaping on the property is prohibited.
What a wonderful stay we had at the Heart of Jamestown! From the moment we arrived, we were graciously greeted by our friendly host Connie, who provided so much helpful guidance and suggestions about the house and surrounding area. And the accommodations were amazing! Clean and spacious, with a lovely coastal vibe - and we were unexpectedly upgraded to the apartment, which was such a nice gesture! Connie provides for all of your needs for a relaxing and enjoyable time, including a bottle of wine and freshly baked goods :) We took full advantage of all the local offerings all within a very short walk. Had a wonderful dinner at Beech, visited the local bar/pub the Narragansett Cafe another night and heard a very talented band and also had breakfast at Standards across the street which was delicious! Highly recommended a visit - you will create wonderful memories here!
Connie thought of everything for our stay. She made us feel welcome and right at home. This location is divine. And Connie and Frank are the best hosts.
Cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay in Connie and Frankâs beautiful place! No detail was spared in making us feel comfortable, welcome and totally pampered. Canât wait to return again. 5 stars all around!!
Accommodations were impeccable! Location was perfect. Truly wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy more of it all. Connie was very welcoming to us and keeps a beautiful property.
Connieâs home was immaculate! She was so personable and very informative about the town and all the great restaurants! She was accommodating in every way, and she thought of every detail! We would totally stay here again!
Connie and Frank were tremendous hosts. We only stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer. Connie went out of her way to make our stay extra special since it was our anniversary weekend. As stated in other reviews, you do have to access the unit through the main residence but you wouldnât know that anyone else was home throughout our stay. Thank you again Connie for everything.
The first and lasting impression of this B&B style 3rd floor suite was the attention to detail, decor, comfort AND beautiful spacial design. Nothing was missing for comfort nor convenience. Our generous and outgoing hosts greeted us with warmth and oodles of information to ensure a pleasant stay. Our suite not only had a big beautiful and comfy king sized bed adjacent to a gorgeous bathroom with large tub and shower, but a sitting room with love seat and cushioned chair which doubled as a little "breakfast room",stocked with snacks, breakfast cereals, tea and coffee plus TWO glass covered cake pedestals sporting a whole variety of delicious baked goods by our hostess, a professional baker. With a small refrigerator, microwave, and a lovely cabinet lovingly stocked with glassware, dishes and cutlery everything was available for any meal you chose to eat in your suite. As someone from the hospitality industry myself (and being a professional pastry chef I recognize good pastry when I see and taste it)you could not land in a more lovely nor enjoyable space nor have such friendly and accommodating hosts. Needless to say, before the end of our three night stay we felt like close friends to these two wonderful people who are most gracious and enjoyable people to know. We thank Connie and Frank, the hosts, for making this visit to Jamestown such a memorable one for us. You'll want to stay here, too!
Connie provides her guests with the most comfortable home, very attentive to our needs, home is cozy, clean and inviting. Perfect for our stay to attend a Newport wedding and happy we allowed extra days to enjoy Jamestown too!
Very nice stay. Third floor unit was very nicely decorated. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom very nice.
Owner supplied lots of food and snacks if needed.
A little backward having to walk through living room to get to space. No door to separate area from owners area. Other than that it was a great location and owner was very helpful when it came to sight seeing areas.
What a perfectly wonderful place to stay and be.
We have family just up the street in Jamestown. The first night we met them right next door for dinner, Our Table. We walked to their home daily, had coffee and pastries by the water and went over to Newport to ride on the Coastal Queen (our sister Joyce is one of the tour guides). Fun! Connie and Frank are great hosts!
We spent 3 nights in the Suite and it is a beautiful and quaint place. The King-sized bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was nicely updated and had fluffy towels, robes, and all of the essentials. The lovely sitting area was a great place to read and enjoy Connieâs delicious homemade cookies and coffee cake. There was yogurt, juice, fresh fruit, cereal, and milk available- along with coffee and tea. The backyard seating area with a very pretty and peaceful Koi pond was a great place for us to enjoy wine and a cheese plate that we ordered from a local gourmet shop. Most remarkably, Connie and Frank are such kind and gracious hosts! We felt very comfortable and relaxed during our stay. Jamestown is a beautiful island with 2 amazing State Parks. Newport is a quick drive across the bridge, or a nice Ferry boat ride is available round trip. We highly recommend this property- thank you Connie and Frank!
Fantastic stay at this beautiful place in Jamestown , close to everything yet far away from it all .. extremely clean and the host was absolutely as lovely as the property.. Not having more time to explore was the only downfall â€ïžwill return
After attending the 2024 Newport Folk Festival, we stayed overnight in Connieâs 3rd floor suite, which was very comfortable. She and her husband were helpful and hospitable. We would be happy to return for a longer stay.
This feels more like staying at a B&B or spa than it did as a regular rental. Connie has thought of every last detail imaginable-from the fully stocked bathroom vanity to the bottle of wine and the well-thought out snacks. The mini fridge had complimentary beverages and snacks and there were fresh baked items on our coffee table that Connie even restocked on our second day there. There was no reason to go elsewhere for breakfast. My friend and I enjoyed coffee, hardboiled eggs, bakery items and orange juice...all compliments of Connie! We saved her delicious home made chocolate chip cookies as our late night snack. And if you're a stickler for cleanliness, trust me, this is the place for you. Simply put, this space is immaculate! I highly recommend this for anyone looking to be near Newport but enjoys the peace and quiet of lovely, small town. The drive into Newport is less than 15 minutes or you can take the ferry. Connie is so helpful and communicative. We felt like we were staying at a friend's house our entire time there. We think this may be an annual tradition of ours!
Lovely, warm, comfortable. Nice choice of pillows and great king size bed. Very clean. Location is perfect: walk to the beach in the morning, walk to dinner at night. The gardens are a treat.
Connie and Frank were amazing host! The matching robes and bottle of wine to start off our vacation in Jamestown for a wedding. Everything was immaculately clean and tidy. The house is truly in the heart of Jamestown. Looking forward to another trip and staying at their place again. Thank you for being an amazing host!
Frank and Connie are the friendliest hosts you could ever meet. The accommodations were superb and Connieâs homemade muffins and cookies canât be beat. We fell in love with the peaceful town and especially the views at Beavertail state park. We would love to live here, but we will be back to visit and stay at the âHeart of Jamestown.â
Connie was just lovely! She was so communicative and made sure we were in contact through the process. Gave us a tour of the space which was absolutely perfect for the night we needed. Would highly recommend.
Connie was a great hostess. From baked goods, specific items tailored to my trip, availability, and general friendliness, the stay was everything I could ask for. Very clean and comfortable.

I owned a bakery when my children were little, while also working part time as a dental hygienist for 37 yrs. Frank owns USSUPERNET.com a website development, hosting and consulting business. I love hosting people and try to give space to each guest while also making them comfortable during their stay. Snacks and goodies are provided upon arrival. A simple breakfast area with baked goods, yogurts, eggs and cereal are also provided to make this more of a B&B experience!
I started hosting in 2019 and have held on to my 5 star rating. We have that rating because we truly care, and want you to feel safe and relaxed. Unlike some properties that are owned by absentee owners we work hard to help you plan an enjoyable visit. I do reach out to you by text after you book so you have my contact information. I prefer communicating this way about arrival times because I must be home to greet you. Check in is normally between 1-3pm. If you need later please LMK. Jamestown has great outdoor spaces and this location is central to it all. We have off street parking for one car here, and based on our location you can walk or bike anywhere. Don't have a bike? Rent one, one block away. Take the ferry to Newport for the day and enjoy the craziness of the famous area, then return to our quaint town.
This home was built in 1900, but I did a major renovation in 2005. The koi pond is my favorite place to hang out at sunset with a glass of wine! Or you can take a short drive to watch natures glory at Beavertail state park! You can see the water from my front door, 2 blocks down the street. This is where you can catch the Newport Ferry and enjoy a short ride across the East Passage instead of driving and worrying about parking. Every guest comments on how clean the space is with a generous king bedroom, private bath with soaking tub, and private sitting area. You do pass through my living room to get to the third floor. But we don't use it when we have guests to lend extra privacy. Being in this amazing location allows you access to great restaurants, shops, marina, and beach that are all within walking distance.
