Great apartment near French Quarter

The apartment was perfect for two couples. Clean, spacious, well equipped (except no enough wine glasses).

Not bad, some big issues

The unit was good, but a lot of strange construction issues. Outlets upside down, drawers that don't work. Not a lot of furniture in the bedrooms so nowhere to put your clothes. Power went out while we were there, no way to get in the building or garage as there was no backup power. The stairs also had no power or backup light and were pitch black. The unit was fine and quiet, but the adjacent neighborhood was not a place I would like to walk alone at night. Near Quarter so you can UBER, but you can't really walk as there are unsafe areas in between.

Bywater is such a cool neighborhood

Really enjoyed being in walking distance of so many good cafes/bakeries! It's even close to a walking path (crescent park) that will take you directly to the french quarters (about a 45min walk). It was a great location to everything we wanted to do and explore. Beds were comfortable for sleeping, but one of the beds didn't have a fitted sheet on it (rather, a loose top sheet in it's place) that had to be fixed every morning after sleeping. The accent chairs in the living room didn't seem stable and were wobbly so we only really used the couch to watch tv. It was very windy while we were there, and if you were sitting close to the windows/door to the balcony there was a pretty cold draft that would change the temp of the living room. Had to keep the heat up in the unit to balance that out.Only real gripe about this location is water pressure. It goes cold after about 10-15min of use, and good luck if there are two people using the showers at the same time. The water heater in the unit is very small and takes a long time to have hot water again for a shower.

Great home

My stay required a comfortable place to be able to heal from a very intensive surgery. Any issues were resolved quickly. I would stay here again if needed.

Great condo!

Beautiful condo in a quiet neighborhood. 2 large bedrooms with king-size beds. Each room has it's own bathroom, which is great. Secure parking. Close enough to all activities, but far enough away to have quiet when you want it. Highly recommend this property, & Carter/Vello group!

Nice condo very clean and quite place. The only issue we encountered was the water pressure was low. Taking a shower was a little difficult due to low water pressure. Other then this great place.

Okay stay

The bed linen was soiled with hair and what appeared to be body fluids. I don’t know but we have pictures. Broke toilet seat. The water pressure was very low making it hard to shower. The manager of the property took care of the issues quickly.

The secure parking, clean and well maintained property and well stocked condo made for a very enjoyable getaway! The condo was clean and roomy. The owner was quick to respond and gave us great recommendations for tours and restaurants.

Nice cozy stay

I enjoyed my stay. The listing was very accurate, the apartment had all the amenities needed for our stay. This was my 3rd time visiting Nola and this was the best rental so far. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. The neighbors in the building were very friendly. We felt right at home. The decor was gorgeous- I loved the shower curtain in the master bath and the mirror table! I also loved that there were ample amount of towels and the fact that there was replacement paper goods! I've had other rentals where they give a roll of paper towels and a roll of toliet paper and then we have to supply our own after that. Not here! Everything was there- great job! We were about 10-15 minutes away from the happenings in the city- short uber ride no problem at all. I like being able to be out in the mist of city life then come back to peace and quiet. Carter and the Vello team was great, communication was great, check in and out was great! I would definitely stay again and highly recommend! One other thing that does not take away from the 5 stars it could just be me but the water pressure in the showers were not the best. The temperature amazing, I'm just used to more pressure. Still great stay!

Perfect Fit

This location perfectly met our needs both with proximity to everything we wanted to do as well as being close to the port for getting our cruise started… the only thing that could have made it better is if the exit gate of the garage wasn’t broken and stuck in the open position…that meant the parking wasn’t as secured as we had hoped but still would go back in a heart beat very nice place!

Just Okay

This apartment was just okay. The bathrooms were not very clean with hair in the sink, the television situation was terrible, (with very limited free viewing), the kitchen sink faucet leaked, and the pillows in the bedrooms were rock hard... I think for the amount of money I paid It should have been a little nicer. I will go somewhere else next year...

Amazing condo

Our stay was absolutely amazing and this condo was perfect and in a nice area of New Orleans .not to far from the French quarter and other near by attractions . We even got to watch the high school kids put on show while we watched from the balcony and also it’s a very safe condo that has private access. The next time we come back to New Orleans we will be staying at this condo for sure

AC broken when we arrive and no one told us!

AC was broken when we arrived. A part had been ordered and the owner failed to tell his property manager I was told. We had unloaded and noticed the AC not working so I just thought it had been turned off. It was 100 plus outside and 86 inside. We had to pack up and find another place on our own after being told Vrbo would find us another similar place and comp us the first night. This didn’t happen plus I still haven’t gotten my money back yet! I should have gotten it back immediately. Nightmare situation and I am very unhappy!

Crescent City Stay

I rated each individual a 5-star rating I am giving an overall 4. I am a frequent travel for both business and personal so I prefer to stay at VRBO properties. My experience at each of the previous properties have always started with the decor. This property has none. As vibrant as the city of New Orleans is there was no representation of it's history, art of culture present. The only decor was a candle on the kitchen counter with the word "Easter" written on it. Also when I travel, and if I plan my stay for a minimum of 3-days, I usually unpack but there were no dressers in the rooms and no shelves in th closets to hang clothes except for what looked like a laundry cart. this is the only vacation home that I stayed at where I was req

Location to the French quarter was excellent. The neighborhood had plenty of good restaurants.

Property is excellent and clean. Close to the French quarter and a gem of a find. I would highly recommend this place for future visitors.

Location, Location, Location.

This property is located in a tremendous neighbourhood. We could walk to a variety of restaurants, watering holes and art installations within 10 minutes. Frenchmen Street is only about a 35 minute walk or $10 Uber/Cab. Some cracked dishes and dirty cutlery were the only concerns. We did not eat there much so it had little bearing. There was plenty of space to hang clothes but no real drawers. My guess is that not many stay for a week at a time. Carter was promptly attentive to any of our needs. Bywater is an awesome neighbourhood. I have no issue recommending this property for a stay in New Orleans.

Great getaway!

Everything was just as advertised. Very clean and had everything we needed for our anniversary get-away weekend! The place was quiet and just a short Uber ride to everything New Orleans has to offer. The only small opportunity (as was called out in other reviews) was the wifi, which was hit and miss and slow when it was available. Overall great stay!
