Hi, Mark! As I communicated with you during your stay regarding the condo and your comfort, and you shared none of this with me, I am really surprised to see this review. I have passed your comments on to our housekeeper, who prides herself in excellent work. If you had let me know, we would have had her come out right away. We care about our guests comfort and entire experience, and we will continue to do so.

Hello Jeff. Thank you so much for taking time to write a review. I know bed comfort is subjective, so I’m sorry our bed was not what you were looking for. We have not had complaints about the beds in the past but I completely understand - my wife and I can’t even agree on firmness of our own mattress! I believe, and many guests will agree, Anglers Cove is the best bang for your buck on Marco Island. When you come back, we hope you can take advantage of some of the amenities our condo offers, such as beach chairs, towels and umbrella, tennis rackets and balls, books and games, as well as the amenities Anglers Cove has to offer, like tennis courts, pools, spas and the very popular on-site Tiki Bar & Restaurant that sits right on the water. Thank you for your review. For what it’s worth, I did call you back and left a message and never heard back. Yes, there was a blind slat that was missing but the blinds do work. While you are the first to complain about the beds, I appreciate that everyone has their personal preference. As for the complex, Anglers Cove is a nice community and this condo is a great value for the cost conscious traveler. For those wanting something higher end, their budget needs to reflect their taste. I would also respectfully disagree with your assertion that the hallways, which are outside and exposed to the elements, and grounds are dirty. For those concerned after reading Babs’ review, the doorknob was not falling off and after speaking with her, I was skeptical of her claim that someone entered the unit while she was gone. Regardless, we take the safety and security of our guests seriously so we went ahead and replaced the keyed lock, including the doorknob, with an electronic lock. Now each guest gets a unique code that is good for their stay and is deleted right after they leave.
