A wonderful place for us northerners to thaw out. One week wasnât enough! We loved each of the three decks to enjoy morning sunshine and evening sunsets. Beds and living area furniture were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with good cutlery which I always appreciate. The pool and deck area was clean and inviting. The other tenants were friendly. We liked being able to walk to nearby restaurants and bars. Communication with the owner was good. We would stay here again.
We needed a place to stay for a few days while we were going to be in Marco Island for a wedding. Everywhere down there was expensive in Feb. and/or had a week minimum stay. After a lot of searching we found this condo and it fit all our needs at a reasonable price. Everywhere we needed to go was within 5-10 min drive of the condo. There were also places to eat that we could walk to. The condo itself was clean, parking was easy and my son loved that he could go down to the water everyday and fish. It met all our needs. Like another review said, the spiral staircase was not fun to go up or down, but we only used the room up there for sleeping, and there was a bathroom up there so once we were up there for the night there was no need to go up or down the stairs multiple times. I would stay in the condo again if I was in the area and needed somewhere to stay.
This property was great. We had a blast. I rented it because I've been wanting to stay in Olde Marco for a while. My two favorite restaurants are there, Leebe Fish and The Snook Inn. They are both right across the street. It was a little nicer than I thought it would be. I was excited about the recliners and they did not disappoint. The kitchen had everything we needed. The place is exactly as pictured and described.I wanted to title this review "Half as good as my last rental for one third the price" but my wife forbade me from doing that because she thought it sounded negative. My point is, you don't get a walk in shower or a private screened in pool but the price is exactly 1/3 as much as our last rental on Marco Island. It had everything we needed and was a fantastic deal, especially for February.A few more things, you actually do have water views on both sides. We watched the sun come up with our morning coffee. That was nice. The spiral staircase is as described but I was able to get my ample carriage up there to peek around. One warning, the building does have an elevator but if you take it, there are still 3 steps to get to the condo. That was not an issue for us.
Really disgusted with the advertisement and the reality of what we paid for the place it advertised for resort with all the amenities spa gym restaurant on-site that is All a lie! Its not a resort the worker's and guests will tell you that along with the locals at other resorts the place is now a Condo you rent the room from an owner the staff was not helpful not friendly unless you speak first they dont tell you anything when arriving about what is really available to you or not they just give you keys and say welcome... this place has no more spa no more restaurant onsite the gym is not open anymore the now once was a resort is now a Hotel suites, they have many issues going on with family ownership drama apparently the two owners of the property cant decide what or who can make decisions so customers experience the brunt end of their drama by suffering from their demise! You cant get room service, there is none anymore there is a beach bar but you cant use it unless youre a member of some club the place is very clean very bland we were extremely bored here was told we could use the Marriott next door for entertainment and food if we wanted! We were very upset that we paid so much for what we had to provide ourselves more of food at the grocery store the place is ran by a management company they have to use a glass table not the actual front desk lobby becauae the president of the hotel wont let them use it stupid! We wont use this place ever again
This condo suited our needs for the week. I would have given this 5 stars but the spiral stair case to get to the other king suite was difficult. If you have anyone who would require assistance with stairs it would not be possible. Itâs like an old firemanâs staircase. This was where we spent our common area balcony time together. Itâs in the upstairs portion of the condo. We had to go outside to go upstairs to use this for some of our party. Great location for dining and getting around. Community pool is very nice. The community grill was a walk and was inconvenient to use if you wanted to grill as a group. It was quite a w all from the condo for this. Beautiful beautiful island though and this place is located in a great spot.
The location is great! We walked to Lee Be Fish and Snooks often. We rented kayaks for the week. We fished in the canals, rookery bay and kayaked to Tiger Tail. The keyless entry was great for people to come and go as they liked. Sheryl was wonderful to answer ALL of my questions. The stairs going up to the 2nd floor (master) are steep. Just be aware of that before renting. The people at the condo building are friendly. The kitchen is well equipped and having ample towels was a pleasure! I would recommend and I would stay again.
This condo is the in a fabulous location! Convenient to fun local bars and restaurants with beautiful views! Sheryl was a pleasure to deal with and was so accommodating and responsive! Having access to a boat lift was an added bonus!
Canadians at heart who have spent winters being too cold and summers too short! Florida has been our escape annually since our grandparents moved to Stuart, Fla in 1977. Our brother bought on Marco over 15 years ago and we have had the benefit of staying in his family's home annually. We are thrilled to be able to call Marco Island 'home' and hope you and your family will experience all the wonders that SW Florida offers!
We have been staying on Marco Island annually (sometimes 2x year!) for over 10 years. Our children have grown up on the clean white sands, shelling and playing in the waves. We have always known this safe haven would be the perfect place to one day call home. We are 1/2 way to realizing that dream!
The ability to be on the water in minutes! Whether its to sit on the patio, fish from the dock or bike over to the beach, everything "Florida" is available to you! If you love live music and tiki bars, the Snook Inn is perfect walking distance for a "Mom's not cooking!" night out. If you are a people, bird, wildlife or boat watcher, the large upstairs balcony will capture you for hours on end! Your vacation can be spent 100% on the island (no island fever here!) or a short drive to either Naples or Everglades City provide their own unique SW Florida experiences! The community is friendly and welcoming. This, in our hearts, hosts the perfect Florida vacation property!
