This home was right across the street from the lake. It is also walking distance from the North Lake Tahoe Regional Park where one could hike. It was clean and well-appointed. All four bedrooms had their own baths which we appreciated. Communication with the property manager was timely. Both the stove and the refrigerator need to be serviced. I hope this is something that Avant Stay handles as I would otherwise give this property a 10/10 rating.

The rooms were clean. No complaints about the hosts. I will say that it gets a little stuffy in the cabin but they do provide fans.

Cozy house with nice spacious layout. It would have been nice to have tv in more than 1 bedroom. Master bed was unstable and wobbled. Nice views and enjoyed multiple rooms having its own bathroom.

Would rent again and here are some notes our group had:Carpets were stained and ripped in some spots. No AC and lack of shades or ceiling fan in main living space made for a bit of discomfort. Ice machine broken so every time you opened it ice spilled everywhere.Shuffle board not functioning.Also bright spots - adorable beach right across the street was not featured in the photos. Also bonus cleaning people were super friendly and told us we could check in early which was nice. All other amenities were great- enough towels for our group, functioning TVs, amazing lake view and great location walking distance-ish from the main part of Kings Beach. Amazing weekend had by all!

Lovely Stay

We had a wonderful experience on our family vacation this year. The location was very convenient to stores, restaurants and a local beach with Kings Beach and Tahoe City close by. The amenities in the home were also excellent. We would definitely go back!!

We had a lovely stay here. It was a great location with the beach just across the street. Plenty of room for everyone. When there was an issue, they sent maintenance over same day. Overall, we had a wonderful time!

Fantastic North Tahoe Location

Beautiful property just across Lake Blvd from the Lake. Quick walk to coffee, sandwiches and the beach. Great views of the lake and night sky. Easy access to nearby hiking trails.

Great location and property!

This location was centrally located in Tahoe Vista directly across the street from the lake. The views were stunning. The house was beautifully decorated and came equipped with comfortable beds. I highly recommend this property!

The house is incredible. The view from the balcony is stunning. Beach space right across the street. Cozy blankets and pillows on the beds. The dark gray couch has seen better days. It's pretty lumpy and you can hear springs creak when you sit down. The primary bedroom bed fram needs help. We had to rebuild the wood under the frame because it had fallen and the bed was sagging. My biggest issue was the hot water heater was faulty and I called every day we were there to report it. They sent out 3 people and only the last one knew how to work on that machine and ordered a new part but we left before a repair happened. It would throw an F18 error code and we would have to reset it. We would either have freezing water or scalding water. I was disappointed that we received a refund that was 6 percent of what we paid for the stay due to that and the fridge compression making an awful noise. The Wolf stove is awesome but not all the burners work and it's on a tilt. Shuffle board needs to be waxed because even with a fresh coat of sand it has a ton of dead spots. We would recommend taller chairs for the patio because there's a spectacular view but the chairs are so short you can't see over the railing if you're seated. We loved the amply amount of towels and bathrooms. Overall it's a great house it just needs a few things. I totally understand things break and need repair, I just feel it's fair to better compensate when that happens.

You're right that daily hot water calls deserve a faster fix and fairer compensation, and we've escalated both the repair list and your refund experience with our team. The view and home clearly have the bones of something special, and we'd welcome the chance to show you the stay you should have had.

The proximity to the beach, and house were perfect. The only thing to note from our stay was the mattresses were not comfortable and a few of us were struggling from back pain or not sleeping. I think being walking distance from the beach made up for it though!

Labor Day vacation

We had a wonderful time staying at the home. The parking is a challenge and the gas cooktop did not light but Overall the views were wonderful, the home was clean and was very close proximity to restaurants, shopping and the lake.

This is a nice property but it isn’t clear how close it is to the main road. That said the noise in the evening is not bad. The house could stand to have a deck or some sort of outdoor area that isn’t dirt with some chairs on it.Also there is no air conditioning. Even though the weather was relatively mild we had to run fans to keep the place cool as the sun comes in directly in the living room in the afternoon and evening.We had a great trip but some improvements could be made.

Great cabin! Right by the lake and warm!

Very comfy and was very warmed when we arrive, even if it was cold outside we felt warm. We loved the location as it was right across the street from the lake and the beds are super comfy! Bathrooms were very clean and the kitchen was perfect for my friend who is gluten free as they we free to cook without an attack! Only cons we had was we couldn’t get into the lockbox when we arrive even with the code so we had to us the garage code for everything. Stairs are a little steep and the driveway is very narrow. The garage we had to move the lawn chairs to fit the mini van into it. Also we were asked to take out the trash but the trash cans outside were super full so we had to use the garage trash can, so we wouldn’t attach bears! Other than those things we had an awesome time and we got to be fairies for a weekend! Thank you!!!
