We had a wonderful four-day stay! The home was incredibly convenient, comfortable, and safe. It was perfect for a family getaway: everyone could have their own space, while the shared areas of the home were brilliant for spending time together.This was our first visit to the area, and it was a wonderful destination for our whole family - children, teenagers, parents, and grandparents alike. Beautiful walking trails are very close by, and both the beach and lake are stunning.The house had everything we could possibly need. Two of the bedrooms have king-size beds and lovely en suite bathrooms, and the large washer and dryer were especially convenient and easy to use. The host was also friendly, responsive, and very easy to communicate with.We had a fantastic time and would happily stay here again!

The Rainbow Cabin was perfect for our two families with three kids, offering plenty of space, a great kitchen and all amenities, with Cecilia as a wonderful host who went above and beyond, and we loved the easy walk to the lake and restaurants. We would stay again.

Summer trip

We plan a yearly family trip to different places, this year was Tahoe. The Rainbow House fit our family perfectly and the location was phenomenal.

Great stay in Kings Beach!

Very nice renovated and modern cabin for our small group. Very clean and fully stocked with multiple amenities including a small welcome gift of wine from our host! Convenient location and parking.

Our family had an amazing time at this place. It was spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable. The location was perfect, with the lake just a few minutes’ walk away, along with restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping centers. The owner was incredibly responsive and made the check-in process incredibly easy. We can’t wait to return!

Family and friends gathered at North shore for my son’s wedding week. My extended family of 10 found the Rainbow house for our stay. Perfect fun find! The space, decor and host exceeded our expectations. Perfect home away from home for a very special week!

Perfect Lake House

First of all shout out to the property management, they were great in all aspects. The house was clean, perfectly located and the layout is great for hanging out with family. Will likely be back next year to enjoy this property again.

Amazing House Walking Distance to Everything

Wonderful house walking distance to the beach and to local restaurants and shops. 5 bedrooms so every kid had their own room and lots of bathrooms too. I want to rent this house every year.

The house was as described and deserves the flawless rating. It is deceptively large, our family of 9 slept comfortably in the house and enjoyed the common space and back yard. Convenience to the beach is unmatched. The goal was not to be in the car and we achieved it easily!

Great house

We had a great stay! The house was really spacious and comfortable. There was plenty of room for our group of 6 adults and 4 kids. The location can’t be beat, close to everything including the lake. The house was also well stocked and had everything we needed. We loved using the grill! We will stay here again.

Great getaway

The house was very clean and well appointed. The beds were comfortable. It was two blocks from the beach. Three rooms are en-suite and two rooms share a full bath with a powder room downstairs. I would stay here again with delight.

Five Stars for Rainbow Retreat

We try to visit Tahoe annually with our kids and grandkids. This year was amazing. Rainbow Retreat is a very short walk to Kings Beach. Just across the main road. In fact people park around this location to access the beach. Our stay was amazing. Location is great but the home is special. New construction with all of the amenities.

Rainbow Retreat

I’ve been renting family vacation houses for 32 years and this one is in the top 3. Almost every bedroom has a bathroom, the location is close to activity, easy walking distances for a busy family meeting friends, nicely appointed kitchen for cooking - checked off nearly all my boxes. Would definitely rent it again! Thank you for a clean and cared-for property.

Great house in North Tahoe!

House was great! What you see in pics is exactly what you get. Grill & fire pit in back was nice. Location couldn’t be better. Just 5 minutes out front door. Safeway less than a mile away so you can pick up your groceries & alcohol there. Highly recommend this rental!

Wonderful stay in beautiful new house

So many things to love about this property! The beach is right across the street, and the sunsets are gorgeous. Very quick access to Northstar, Truckee and Incline Village. We found a new place to hike each day. The house is exactly as pictured and filled with amenities that make it feel like home. We cooked an entire Thanksgiving dinner for 8! Living area is well suited for playing games or hanging out. Beds and pillows are super comfy. Highly recommend!

Great for 2 families!

This house was perfect for two families to stay for the week. Total of 4 adults and 5 kids ages 9, 7, 5, and 2 yr old twins. The two master bedrooms made it a plus for the adults. Easy access to King’s Beach and restaurants as it’s only 1 block off the main road. There’s even a cute little library at the end of the block that the 2 year olds enjoyed. Hiking trails a few blocks behind the house. We had no issues with parking 2 cars. Would absolutely recommend if you’re looking to stay near King’s Beach!
