Misty Mountain Sunset Getaway is conveniently located in a forested area one block off the Gatlinburg Parkway. The completely level paved road provides quick access to the Gatlinburg Arts & Crafts community and the Gatlinburg strip. Your home away from home features a wood burning fireplace, free 600mbps Wi-Fi and a full kitchen. The road to the cabin hugs a large creek visible from the front deck.
Good location about 15-30 minutes from all the attractions. Cozy place with a beautiful creek running you can hear with the windows open. The jacuzzi is perfect after a long day of adventures out to relax in.
We love staying at this house with these peeps! They are super quick to answer any questions and they allow our Puppers to come with us. If you are good with being just outside the hustle of town and donât want to drive the crazy roads up above this place is great and always quiet.
Property is tucked away but not far from main road. Was very spacious. Hot tub was amazing! Dog friendly. For the price this was the best we have ever had. Arcade was a wonderful added touch.
We loved the place! It was clean and well kept. I would say here again. It was close to downtown and the owner always answered my question right away, he was very nice and super helpful.
An older home in a great location convenient to area attractions. Just across the road from the creek with lots of hostas and irises in the yard. Very pretty
The property was on a lovely private road by a very peaceful creek. The kitchen could have had some essentials, such as a can opener, mixing bowls, and better cooking pans. Overall a pleasant stay. The arcade game was a hit!
Close to town but out of the way. I had a few questions before our stay and he was quick to answer. Hot tub was great and the arcade was a hit with the kids. We loved the screened in porch so we could sit outside without bugs and also watch a bear walk by without him even giving us a second thought. The beds were comfy and there were extra blankets and pillows. Would stay again.
This cabin made for a nice weekend getaway and is centrally located on the north side of the national park. While things could have been a little cleaner, they werenât messy enough to make a big deal out of it. We would have also liked more comfortable linens on the bed as they were a little sparse.
That said, the location was great, the cabin was comfortable and the arcade games were a hit with the kids.
This house was very clean and had plenty of room to spread out! The hot tub was great! It was pet friendly ! There was space in the yard for the dogs and there are nice places around to walk with the dogs. There was a vintage video game with Frogger and Pacman! We loved it!
The creek across the street was gorgeous and the sound it made was amazing! You can open the glass door and fall asleep to the sound of the water rushing by. Hope we can return!
Difficult getting in without connection on your phone and no one offered any information prior to arrival to get into the property. No pots or pans to cook anything with so all meals had to eat out. Mattresses were very uncomfortable to sleep on.
We were quite taken aback by the overall look of the property since it looked nothing like the pictures. The grass was overgrown, weeds and bushes around the house were up to our hips and not trimmed down to make it look like a nice rental property. When we entered the house, the smell of mildew and must was overwhelming. After seeing the outside and then smelling the inside, we almost called the owner to cancel, but since it was a no refund policy, we just ran to the store and got some Glade candles and bleach cleaners. Also, entering the home was a difficult task. After SEVERAL attempts of trying to access the application just to get the passcode, the owner was kind enough to just give it to us, but said that he thought the keypad may be out of order. (What?) He then referred his son to us, who got us into the lockbox to the actual keys to the house, finally relieving me of my migraine. Misc:
No oil, no pepper, as advertised (had to buy). Minimal pots and pans (without lids), no baking sheets. No light in the refrigerator. The screened-in porch is NOT by the creek, nor can you see the creek from it. No tables in living room.
Out of all the rentals weâve ever stayed in, this was, by far, the worst. NOTHING like the pictures. If you just want a bed to sleep on, this would be ideal, but for a family to spend quality time here, we feel as if we were extremely misled by renting this property.
Adequate, would suggest stepping stones to access the back door. The apt to get in was difficult. The musty smell a previous occupant alluded to was still present. Shrubs should be trimmed to prevent scratchers to cars backing out.
Loved this little place close enough to Gatlinburg but far enough away to have peace outside the city. We enjoyed family time on the screened in patio and our Denali boy (family pup) loved the big open windows in the all the rooms. Very close to creek and beautiful old church we enjoyed daily walks to as well. Perfect for our little trip last year.
There is enough space in the gravel driveway to park three cars. This family home offers a King bed in the Master Suite with en-suite Bathroom. The second bedroom with a bathroom across the hallway offers a Queen Bed. Our wooden cottage contains a washer and dryer, screened outdoor patio and a relaxing creek that flows year-round. Listen to the creek flowing as you enjoy a sunset from the screened in deck. Inside enjoy the Multicade with many vintage arcade games
