First off, I called in January to book for May. I specifically asked if there was an elevator because we had a person with us who could not climb stairs because of a lung condition. If there was no elevator I told her I couldnât book it. We got there and NO ELEVATOR in our building. I called and the lady just apologized and said it couldnât be guaranteed. She wouldnât even try to accommodate us. We were on a top floor with 40 steps. We had to take my mom across town and pay for another motel just for her because of this. The lady was really rude. She said there were ball teams there and they were full. What I didnât understand isâŠ.if you can play ball ONE person could have changed rooms and climbed stairs and given someone who couldnât an elevator building. I wasnât asking for a bottom floor, only an elevator like I was assured they had. I donât know how they get away with this with the disabilities act, but I guess they manage. The facilities were great! It was only the elevator issue is the reason I give it the rating I do and the rudeness of the employee who could only say sheâs sorry and not TRY to accommodate. She also said we needed to ask for a room for disabled people. We didnât need that! We only needed an elevator as stated before I called.
