New to PROACTIVE Vacations! Tastefully designed, and stylishly decorated with beautiful inspirations of the sea, "Goin' Coastal" has that tropical island vibe that you have been searching for! This stunning oceanfront gem, offering 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, is impressive!

Welcome to Island Life! "Goin' Coastal" has been completely remodeled! This welcoming home will comfortably accommodate up to 13 guests, offering enough room for everyone to spread out and relax. The living room is filled with new, comfortable furniture. The large open kitchen is well-stocked, complete with new cabinets, granite countertops, updated backsplash, new stainless steel appliances, wine fridge, and bar seating for 4. The new dining table is large enough for everyone to gather together for family style meals, or family game night (board games provided), all while making precious memories! Enjoy breathtaking views of the sea from anywhere in the living room, dining room or kitchen!

Each bedroom has new furniture, new mattresses and new bedding! Bedroom #1 is located on the 1st floor, offering 2 Full beds, TV, ceiling fan, and a full private bath with tub/shower combo. Bedroom #2 is located on the 1st floor, offering 2 Twin/Twin Bunk beds, TV, ceiling fan, and a full private bath with tub/shower combo. Bedroom #3 is located on the 2nd floor, offering a King bed, TV, ceiling fan, balcony access with ocean views, and a full private bath with walk-in shower and double vanity. Bedroom #4 is located on the 2nd floor, offering 2 Queen beds, TV, ceiling fan, balcony access with ocean views, and a full private bath with walk-in shower and double vanity. On the 2nd floor, you will discover an additional living space, including a Full sleeper sofa (bed linens not provided for sleeper sofa), and a convenient half bath.

In the garage you will discover a ping-pong table, and an extra refrigerator for guests to use. You will have your toes in the sand in just a matter of minutes using your private beach walkway, complete with a sundeck for relaxing, and a rinse shower to rinse away the leftover sand from your feet. With 2 covered porches on the oceanfront, you will have amazing 180 degree views of the sparkling Atlantic Ocean! Listen to the sounds of the waves crashing ashore! Breathe-in salt air, and breathe-out stress! Enjoy your morning coffee with spectacular views of those famous Holden Beach sunrises, or have a refreshing beverage to end the day, while experiencing glorious sunsets right from your deck! After your day on the beach, wash away the sand and sea in the outdoor enclosed shower, complete with hot & cold water. Your family will love living the carefree coastal life at "Goin' Coastal"!

Great stay. View out the main level windows is best I’ve ever seen in 20 years renting homes on HB. Spacious home. Short walk to the pier. Main level A/C could use an upgrade. (Sorry)

Great location! Perfect view!Beautiful home! Very clean! Well stocked kitchen! Comfortable beds! Everything in working order! Needs to have a screen door leading out to deck & beach, to allow fresh air in! Also, sheets did not fit or stay on beds due to deep mattresses!

Thank you for staying with us Susan, "Goin' Coastal is a fantastic oceanfront home. Your feedback on the sheets has been passed on to our housekeeping department. On the screen door, we hear on you on the screen door, and, while we would love to let the fresh ocean air inside the house, the salinity and high humidity in our climate does not bode well for the interior of our homes and their mechanical systems. Keeping the ocean air outside is the goal for keeping a property in good working order for all to enjoy.

House was great; property manager, not so much

We were all very comfortable in this ocean-front house and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. However, I have already reviewed the property mananger, ProActive Vacations, poorly. They were either careless or stingy about several things, to the point that I will not likely rent a house managed by them in the future

We love HB and visit every year, this is the first year we have experienced multiple home issues that impacted our trip to the point that I would write something brief for future guests. We were charged additional fees having booked through VRBO and then being rerouted to sign additional contracts with ProActive Rental Company. The house asked to inventory all items that were damaged or broken within 24 hours or you would be charged - we spent the first few hours taking pictures and inventory of all the broken and damaged items. You have to pay for the bagged linens that are left on the kitchen counter and these were stained. The house must have been closed up for a while and black mold had covered the ceiling and wicker furniture, the smell was terrible. Our best efforts to clean did not help the smell. The rental company changed the vent filters and brought DampRid bags for the closets though this did not help. Some of the family chose not to stay. HB is always wonderful, however, the home is the gathering place for the week and this rental was disappointing.

We apologize that your stay did not meet with your expectations. The charging of fees by VRBO is explicitly explained in the booking process. The property was inspected prior to your arrival and after and there was no black mold on furniture or the ceiling. We do everything we can possibly do to create a satisfactory stay for our guest, we apologize that we were not able to meet your expectations.

Lovely Place!

Very spacious and clean. Each bedroom has a bathroom and plenty of relaxing spots. Bookcases filled with reading materials, kitchen utensils, chairs on the deck, swing on the top deck… it was a really relaxing place to be.
