This second-floor, oceanfront condo is exactly what you need for a breezy stay! The kitchen and living room area are very open and perfect for entertaining as the ocean view stretches across the entire condo. This coastal retreat has a large balcony overlooking the ocean, offering the perfect spot for picture-perfect photos and selfies!

This floor plan has the bedrooms on one side of the condo and the entertaining area on the other. The very large primary bedroom has a king bed. The guest room has two double beds and a bathroom that you can open from the bedroom or the hallway. The location is simply unbeatable; you will be only minutes from downtown Fernandina Beach. The Omni Resort at Amelia Island has access to many restaurants, pools, and bike paths.

Things to Know
Pergolas will be closed off in the swimming pool area for renovation; Projected completion date by Memorial Day 2025.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

1312 shipwreck

A carpenter ant infestation during the 4th of July stay put a big damper in our trip. Would have liked the room to be more chairs, umbrellas or other beach items available for guests to use. Also beware couldn’t access Omni pool or other amenities. It was close the beach and there was a good pool available to use.

Nice view…lots of steps

The unit is comfortable in an older building. The elevator does not go to the floor with the unit. You need to go up or down 8 steps after taking the elevator. The beach is awesome (and the view from the unit might be worth overlooking dateless and elevator) but it is a trek over many steps from unit to green area and like other places over the dunes. A disappointment was that it listed as 2 queens in one bedroom but they are full/double beds (NOT Queens).

Unauthorized entry of condo

Unauthorized entry of a maintenance person into our condo. This caused extreme stress to my family due to a prior domestic abuse situation. We received no phone call, text or email from Vacasa requesting entry of the condo. The maintenance person entered the unit unannounced and was confronted in the living room. When Vacasa was contacted about the incident, I was told it was because we made our reservation on short notice. We had to barricade the door entry everyday for our security, as the locking mechanism is flimsy. We had no sleep and jumped at every sound. Miserable. Other issues to include. 1) Loud construction in the morning that we were not made aware of. 2) Dishwasher wasn’t usable. 3) Patio screen door was off track. 4) Kitchen pantry smelled like mold and a dead animal. The smell permeated the entire entry, hallway and kitchen area. The unit is in desperate need of a total remodel. The owners should be ashamed of themselves for renting this unit, as it is in total disrepair. The unit is not handicapped accessible and many stairs have to be maneuvered to access the unit. I would rent elsewhere!! I travel quite a bit and this was one of the worst experiences to date.

Okay for a short stay

Positives: the view, the view, the view. Clean pool area, nice overall facilities. Nicely equipped patio in unit. There are a couple of beach chairs in the closet. Granite countertops are a nice upgrade as is the tile floor throughout. Also great closet space and plenty of luggage racks! I'll preface the negative comments by saying we've stayed in about 6 different ocean front condos in Shipwatch, Turtle Dunes, and Beachwalker over the past 4 or 5 years, so we've come to expect that a condo asking over $350/night has a certain elevation of accommodation which I felt was lacking in this unit. The overall feel of the unit is a bit tired. 1990s wall paper, original bath fixtures/showers etc. The Master bedroom is furnished like an economy hotel and and somewhat unappealing. Certainly not the fault of the condo owner is that the bedrooms are over the parking lot so you can constantly hear cars coming and going, honking horns, people talking, car alarms being set, luggage being dragged across the pavers. If you need a quieter sleeping situation, I would recommend a different condo. Or, change the windows in the bedrooms for better soundproofing. I would only book this condo again if it were redecorated.

run down with great views

this property is in desperate need of getting an update. windows in one of the bedrooms don't open. dishwasher doesn't function well. kitchen is not stocked with necessities for cooking. great view from living room balcony.

Incredible view

The condo was clean and neat. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and taking in the ocean view. I have to say the unit could stand an update. That said, we still enjoyed our stay.
