My wife and I hosted two teenage girls who had won a trip to Florida by memorizing large portions of the Bible. We had a splendid time. Beautiful views, beautiful pool, beautiful beach. we always enjoy the plantation with its walking trails, secure environment and proximity to downtown Fernandina. We went to Mayport via the St. Johnâs River ferry and had a day trip for shopping in Jacksonville Beach. The Lord blessed us with 10 days of stellar weather. Would happily stay in this unit again.
We loved our stay here du to the beautiful ocean views. The inside of the property needs a little updating but had most of the basics needed. The TVs were small so a larger one would be a great addition along with a few things in the kitchen (ladle, pot holders). Loved the grounds and the pool was amazing (heated). The grounds were very well kept and the walk to the beach was pretty close. Keep in mind if renting in this building that it is not easy for a mobility challenged person due to the amount of stairs both from the elevator and down to the beach. For the price this was right and would gladly stay again!
Les points faibles : Communication et exactitude de lâannonce
5 day 6 nights
Renting from vrbo does not include normal Omni features such as use of Tram transportation to restaurants and shops and use of the swimming pool . Our unit was âtiredâ with peeling paint, old furniture and appliances that didnât work. Nice view, but overpriced.
Renting through Vacasa was super easy. Communication was great and we loved having a key code to the villa and no keys to keep up with.
This building and the villa are on the older side and could definitely use a fresh coat of paint and some upgrades. However, if you want oceanfront with beautiful views for a reasonable price-it is perfect. The beds were comfortable and it is spacious and well-equipped. The grounds and community pool are great and werenât crowded. It is an easy walk to the beach and we rented bikes and they have covered racks on the ground level that were convenient.
We really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return again. Amelia Island is beautiful.
