Welcome to Smoky Mountain Gem, the perfect headquarters for YOUR Smoky Mountain Vacation! Nestled in the woods between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, our cabin (sleeps 12) is conveniently located just a short drive from the best entertainment and activities of the Smokies! Soak your worries away in the outdoor hot tub, relax on the deck while taking in the gorgeous scenic views, or indulge in a multitude of activities down in the game room (arcade, foosball and extra living area)!










With a spacious living area and separate game room with additional living space, our home is ideal for families and small groups alike and is perfect for any getaway - so pack your bags -- the mountains are calling!!

Surrounded by trees, our home is nestled in a quiet community. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the large outdoor deck, relax in the hot tub, take in the views, or grill up some dinner on the outdoor BBQ grill and eat outside at the picnic table.

Smokey Mountain Gem

Very nice cabin. It was our family's first time to Gatlinburg and the kids really enjoyed staying in the cabin. It was exactly what we wanted.

Family vacation

So very enjoyable. Everything was so clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the games downstairs daily. Enjoyed the back porch for daily morning coffee. The beds were very comfortable. Everything was great! No issues at all. We highly recommend this cabin!!

Awesome get away spot

It was a great little get away spot. My kids loved their rooms, my daughter in the loft and son in the game room. We enjoyed watching the neighborhood momma bear and 3 babies. Everything you would need in a home away from home was there. It was nice and clean, quiet. Check in and out was easy. We would definitely rent again!

Family vacation

We had an enjoyable stay at the cabin. The kids loved the hot tub and the game room. The views were beautiful. This was my first trip to the mountains so I wasn’t as comfortable driving on the narrow roads leading up to the cabin but other skilled drivers with us took the wheel. We made awesome memories. I can definitely see us making a return trip!

Homey cabin


We stayed the weekend right when spring break was starting and we felt like the price was just right considering it sleeps 12. It is not a new property but everything was clean and we enjoyed our stay. One of the days there it rained most of the day so we stayed in the cabin and enjoyed all the cabin had to offer such as pool table, foosball, hot tub and we also brought our own board games. Worth renting for the price!

Cabin was great.

The only problem with the cabin was the driveway. My suburban couldn't make the turn. So we would back down the streets pass cabin to pull in. So careful if you drive a large vehicle.

Gaitlinburg

The cabin was really nice and clean. There was 12 of us and all of us had somewhere to sleep we had 9 kids. The only problem I had was the hot tub didn"'t work and the drive way is very hard to get in and out because of the steep hill. The kid's enjoyed the game room.

Great cabin in the woods

We enjoyed our stay in Gatlinburg and this cabin. The kitchen was nicely stocked and the game room downstairs was a great surprise for my adult kids and husband. We had a problem with the heat of the water in the hot tub and the owner immediately sent someone out to fix it. Great customer service!! I would definitely consider this house again if we find ourself in the area.

New Year Vacation

Roads are not good during the winter. Two peaks in roads you have to come to a stop to see over the road. Would not stay in this cabin again due to access.

Overall a great place to stay. However, our only complaint is that the hot tub was unusably dirty. The water was yellowed and there was a lot of debris in it. It was disappointing, since that was one of the reasons we booked this stay. We didn’t let it get us down though! The game room helped occupy our time.

A little disappointed

Our family checked in on Saturday, 9/21/24 and opened the door to a very warm cabin. We quickly found the thermostat and set it to cool. On the way to the cabin we were told the cabin was clean and ready for early check in if we wanted for a $50 fee. I didn't find that to be true because spider webs were all over the doors on our arrival. Back to the AC the temperature never went down and it was a major concern for us because our daughter has asthma. We contacted the property management and went back and forth for two days as the ac didn't work for two and half days it was 84 degrees in the cabin. On Monday morning they did deliver three fans to help but it honestly just stirred around the hot air. The cabin was very uncomfortable and our daughter was having trouble sleeping. We were forced to contact vrbo and they were gracious enough to find us a new place to finish our vacation after a two hour phone call. Time away from our vacation because of the ac that we cannot get back. The listing also had listed that there is a pool table and it was not there to enjoy. One reason we choose this cabin but not there.The property management did say they issue a refund within ten buisness days so we will see. Nothing received yet. Before booking this cabin I would recommend checking to see if the ac is fixed, if the refrigerator is fixed, pool table there? and if they actually go and clean the cabin before asking for more money. Good luck to your family, enjoy your vacation

A great escape in the woods!

Lovely cabin! Most ideal for any single family, or two couples and kids. If you include more of your family the quarters maybe tight. We had 3 couples, single adult a child and 2 infants. but if you are close to family as we are you can make it work. If you sleep in the basement you have to go upstairs to utilize the bathroom that is shared with the master bedroom. Cleanliness was good, but if you move things around you may find cracks and corners that may have been missed. We were able pick the cleaner of the pull-out couches in the basement, the sheets on the other couch may have been looked over and finding pillows was tough, none had any pillow covers. but those are the only negatives and those little things we easily adapted to. The Hot Tub was Brilliant, the kitchen and fridge were very clean. Master Bedroom and additional top floor bedroom were very clean and spacious. Our infant wanted to climb the stairs so many times, but the cabin did have baby gates as well as a highchair that we were able to utilize. We loved the cabin, the drive up to it not so much. A lot of driving up and down curvy hills and a bunch of turns, you could easily get turned around or lost. but if you're not looking to leave a lot it may be perfect. If you go exploring, shopping, eating out etc. It's an adventure to get down and back up the side winding mountain roads. It was a great escape, great time with family, kids and grandkids. Loved having coffee on the back porch and viewing the scenery. the game room and pool table were fun. I would recommend this place to any family looking for a cabin get away!

We had a great experience at the cabin. Great customer service and the cabin was very nice. Plenty of Room for our big family. We will stay again in the future.

Quiet/Relaxing Cabin in a mountain

Our visit was exciting from beginning to end! As we made our way up the mountain to the cabin we spotted a black bear in the road
this was a huge Bucket list item for my son so we were able to check that off right away! Upon seeing the cabin we were excited to see it was better than expected! Super clean and spacious with various levels to accommodate everyone. The second night we were there the power went out in the mountain
it only lasted a few hours but it made it even more exciting
we were characters in our very own scary movie! Our trip was amazing
happy to go home to our dogs but will treasure the memories!

Great Getaway

We had an amazing weekend at the cabin. There is everything you need for preparing great meals with easy access to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We enjoyed shows and visiting attractions, but I honestly believe our kids had the most fun playing games at the cabin. Thanks for the great weekend!
