As guests arrive at The Ephraim House, a sense of relaxation sets in, just as it has for travelers coming to Door County for generations. This is not a typical Door County home. Thoughtfully custom built with gatherings of family and friends in mind, The Ephraim House surprises and delights even the most discerning travelers.
Guests enjoy convenient, contactless check in with access through the two car garage and the covered front porch entry, both equipped with secure Wi Fi enabled garage doors and smart locks.
Complimentary indoor garage parking is available for two vehicles, with ample additional parking for approximately four to five vehicles in the driveway. Street parking is not permitted.

Located in the heart of historic downtown Ephraim, our newly built home offers a perfect balance of convenience and tranquility. Surrounded by mature cedar trees and just steps from the waterfront, The Ephraim House places you within easy walking distance of charming shops, galleries, and restaurants, including local favorites such as The Old Post Office, La Sirena, Pearl Wine Cottage, and the iconic Wilsons Ice Cream Parlor.
This spacious luxury home comfortably accommodates up to fourteen guests across five thoughtfully designed bedrooms, including two king bedrooms that offer exceptional comfort. The chefâs kitchen is ideal for preparing memorable meals and gathering together, whether around the large dining table or the expansive twelve foot kitchen island. The open concept living area features a beautiful stone fireplace and inviting seating, creating a warm and welcoming space to unwind.
Step outside to enjoy sunset views from the raised deck, where guests can relax around the fire table. For ultimate relaxation, a private six person hot tub is located just beyond the walkout lower level patio doors, surrounded by softly lit cedar trees for a peaceful and restorative experience. As evening falls, gather around the outdoor fire pit to share stories and enjoy time together under the stars.

The lower level of the home offers additional entertainment with a large sixty five inch UHD 4K television, video games, board games, and comfortable seating. Complementary outdoor amenities include both gas and charcoal grills, a peaceful patio area, four adult bicycles, as well as 2 paddle boards and a kayak available for guests to enjoy Eagle Harbor and the surrounding shoreline.
For your convenience, we provide a starter supply of essential items including dish soap, dishwasher tabs, laundry pods, fabric softener, Keurig coffee K cups, tea bags, sugar or sugar substitute, and creamer. High speed Wi Fi is available throughout the home, and smart televisions allow you to access your preferred streaming services.
Ephraimâs central location within Door County makes The Ephraim House an ideal home base for exploring the area. The waterfront of Eagle Harbor is just a short walk away, while Peninsula State Park is approximately one mile from the home and offers hiking and biking trails, golf, swimming, and unforgettable performances at Northern Sky Theater. To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests, we generally require a seven night minimum stay during peak season and a two to three night minimum during the remainder of the year. The primary renter must be twenty five years of age or older. No pets, parties, smoking, or drug use are permitted. Please review and agree to all house rules prior to your stay.

The Ephraim House is centrally located in Ephraim, Wisconsin, in the heart of Door County. Most of Ephraimâs restaurants, shops, and galleries are just a short walk from the home, making it easy to explore the village without ever needing to drive.
Door County is a seventy mile long peninsula situated between Green Bay and Lake Michigan and is home to dozens of charming cities, towns, and villages, each with its own distinct character. The Door Peninsula is easily accessible by car, boat, and airplane, with the Ephraim Gibraltar Airport located approximately one mile from The Ephraim House.
We provide ample on site parking, including space to park a boat for guests planning to use the nearby Firehouse Marina or the Ephraim Municipal Dock and public boat launch, both located just a few blocks from the home. Four adult bicycles are also available for guests who wish to explore the local community at a relaxed pace.
-The primary renter must be 25 years of age or older, unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
-No pets are permitted on the property.
-No parties or events are allowed.
-No smoking or drug use is permitted anywhere on the property.
