Awesome Stay!

This place is in a great location close to a lot of places to visit. Less than a 5 minute drive in either direction you’ll find great food, drinks, and shopping. The place was very nice and clean. The shower is huge. The beach equipment that was included were nice to have. It’s an easy walk to the beach. Also, along the beach is a really nice boardwalk to explore. The only hiccup was the check in at the front counter took a lot longer than it should have, but overall a very great experience. We highly recommend.

Clean and quiet.

Beautifully furnished, comfortable beds, very clean. Great pool and cafe. The fresh pineapple and coffee was a nice start to our stay. Thank you!

Casual Vibe

This studio looks just like in the pictures. The bathroom area was very spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. There were 3 beach chairs and 2 umbrellas (one was broken, but we didn’t realize it until our last day - not a big deal as we were able to figure out a way to make it work). The morning coffee in the lobby was much appreciated and quite good! The walk to the beach was 3-4 minutes, which was nice! We enjoyed our stay!

Relaxing property

We liked the outlook from room B146.. sun and shade just at the right times of day. Nicely furnished and loved the comfortable bed. Thanks for another wonderful stay at Kaanapali Villas!

Great Property, Beach, and Location

No complaints. Great beach, quiet surroundings, two nice pools, and it was nice having Castaways for quick apps, drinks, and easy button dinners. Perfect location as the other side of Black Rock is much more crowded. We will be back.

Maui bliss

This unit was a spacious, bright studio with a very comfortable king size bed. Beautiful Hawaiian foliage provided a splendid view from the lanai and the amazing golden sand beach was a 4 minute walk from the unit.

Maui 2023

This was our first time to Maui and the experience was unbelievable! The unit we stayed in was even nicer than the pictures… immaculate and pretty much everything you need! Having a pool on site (which is beautiful) and private beach you can’t ask for anything more! Parking can be a little trying at time because there is reserved parking for the regulars, but we did always seem to find a spot just down a little ways. It was great and easy to stop at Costco and the grocery store after getting out of the airport to stock up on snacks, water and little essentials for the week. Remember you have to pay for bags in Hawaii… we learned the hard way and didn’t bring any from home. There are 2 nice beach chairs and a small cooler provided. Beach towels are provided by the Villa on check in and can be exchanged for clean ones. There is a separate location to do laundry since there isn’t one within the unit. I decided not to use this since it was just my husband and I. Check in and out was easy and the staff was very friendly! We look forward to staying here again!

Great resort

Kaanapali Villas is a special place with incredible snorkeling just down the beach. Have stayed there several times over many years. No knowledge of our reservation when we went to check in. Resolved but awkward and not what we needed arriving tired… Good bed and nice studio, although over- perfumed with diffusers we had to put outside. They were still a problem. Appliances fine but could use more utensils and a little foil or waxed paper would have been very welcome. Needed instructions for Thermostat. Location fine but bad traffic noise from highway. Light out over stove and one of ceiling lights as well making cooking somewhat challenging. Very clean and nice welcome note and treats. All problems but the traffic noise can be easily remedied. Hopefully they will be.

Great Kaanapali Villa

We just love kaanapali Villas and enjoyed being on the ground floor with the patio. This particular condo has a very comfortable bed. Great television, great streaming video. Wonderful appliances in the kitchen. My only suggestion and I’m not trying to be negative is a couple of good steak. Knives in the drawer would be helpful. We did quite a bit of barbecuing and I could’ve use some steak knives but everything else was perfect. Mahalo

great property with quick access to the beach

we loved it here, view from our particular room wasn't anything to write home about but 2 min from the room we were poolside and another few min to be on the beach so couldn't complain; we could however tell other rooms would have great beach views.. room was nice, shotgun kitchen when you walk in, big bathroom for changing, and big bedroom/living room.. great for the cost for sure.. our friends stayed about a 7min walk up the beach so it was easy to meet up with them..

Amazing location/property!

Dan was so great to work with. He was always quick to reply if we had any questions prior to checking in, and after check in. The condo is a newer rental, but could use some extra basic amenities like baggies, tin foil, smaller Tupperware. One of the Tommy bahama chairs was broken- still useable, but could be replaced. Overall, amazing! We loved it and would definitely stay here again! Brooke

Great Condo

This is a cute little studio condo with a garden view but only a short 2 min walk to a gorgeous beach. Perfect location and we loved the ground floor access. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Mahalo!

Fantastic Gem!

This charming studio unit was perfect in so may ways: the resort location is unbeatable with amazing sandy beach, great for swimming/snorkeling, can rent snorkel gear right on site and not ridiculously priced, no need to get up early to claim spots, lots of seating/lounging everywhere, unbelievable views of Lanai and Molokai islands, watching the sunset between islands, and the super convenient Castaways Cafe with great drinks and food, and happy hour live entertainment that was always so enjoyable. Free morning coffee bar and variety each morning! A very laid back vibe, low density resort, staff was friendly and helpful. Nice having convenience of a condo in a resort with 24/7 service. The condo was super cute and very clean, decorated Hawaiian style, very functional kitchen/bathroom set up. Enjoyed morning coffee on units lanai every morning. A truly great experience, we highly recommend!

Convenient Location

Enjoyed the Castaways Restaurant so convenient. Loved walking along the beach walk and seeing other hotels. Not many children so that was a plus for us. Morning complimentary coffee located in a room near the lobby area a wonderful treat. Host was awesome...no hair blower upon arrival and the very next day one appeared. Wi-fi was a bit difficult but I understand there are improvements on the way. Nice patio to sit and enjoy a cocktail, snack or a meal. The walls are a bit thin so noise from either side of our ground level unit could be heard. But we like Country Music anyway...LOL Aloha
