It was a great space and location for our vacation. The ground floor access made it very easy to come and go, and we had plenty of space for our belongings and family members.

Great stay

Always nice at Kaanapali Villas. Room was great. This is our second time to stay at these villas and it didn’t disappoint. It’s gorgeous everywhere with gardens , and beautiful trees all over the complex. 2 great pools and close walk to the beach. We had a great time. We will be back.

Perfect location!

We love staying at MKV because it has such a laid back vibe. The beach is 100% pure bliss! This unit came with a small ice chest, boogie board, small umbrella and pool noodles which were pleasant surprises. The king bed is extra firm was the only downside. We enjoyed the pool and spa near the back which are a short walk from this unit. This was our 2nd stay at MKV and we will be back! Mahalo for sharing your unit with us!

this location is our favourite

It was as expected but a few things were not as clean as in previous stays (various suites) which was disappointing but won't stop us from staying again. The MKVs are near one of the Lahaina community relief distribution centers so it was very convenient to walk to to volunteer

Paradise in Kaanapali

Everything about this place was great. Perfect location in Maui, super close to the beach - which was not overcrowded. The Castaway Cafe had super friendly staff, and great food. Our room was located really close to the smaller of the two pools, which we loved. We often had the pool and hot tub to ourselves. We also appreciated that the sun never directly hit our lanai, so we were able to sit out there in the mornings and evenings in comfortable shade. We will definitely be back.

Aloha Eva and mahalo for taking the time to review your stay. Your condo did receive Covid standards cleaning and sanitation 2 days prior to arrival but having been closed up for 8 months may have taken a bit of a toll on the condo. We've gone in and freshened everything up thanks to your feedback!

Things were good!

We love MKV. Our only qualms this trip were that check in was about 30 minutes late (they were still cleaning) and they didn’t leave enough towels. However, upon contacting them, towels were delivered.

Perfect location, great amenities and in the heart of Maui

We are from NJ and not familiar with the islands. After much research we landed on the Lahaina and Kaanapali beach area, like most tourists. We found this particular place to stay and it worked out beautifully for our family. It exceeded our expectations. It’s more like a hotel or resort than a condo. You will have the comfort of a front desk, large pools, hot tubs, open space to play, plenty of parking, and the units are updated and welcoming. We also enjoyed a few bites and drinks at Castaway Cafe. It’s 5 min to shopping and restaurants in Lahaina (this is before the fire), and about 30 min to the start of Road to Hana. Beaches by the resort were clean, with clear water and soft sand. These villas are the best value and you won’t regret staying here!

Not Paradise

This unit was a shock to check into to - very old and tired unit needing updates. The room had an smell that was unpleasant. the biggest issue was the bed and trying to get a good night sleep, felt like sleeping on a piece of plywood. Unit just didn't feel clean and the smell didnt help. I would NOT suggest this unit as your relaxation spot in Hawaii.

It was like it hadn’t been mopped thoroughly in a long time. Quite dirty, however the rest of the studio was in great shape, well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. Would stay in this unit again.

(This property is owned By Chasing Rainbows) The T V Didn't Work They were supposed to get us a new one they never did. However, they gave us a credit for that. The Cobwebs on the bed frame and sand on the floor made me sick as I am allergic to dust and mold. They were supposed to send someone over to clean it. meanwhile my husband gave up and cleaned it himself. Once in a while the property owners should check what type of job the cleaning crew is doing. AS for Kaanapali Villas and their property it was very nice and clean everyone. . was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay there.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was an ok unit for families with other daughter and her family stayed here last year. I knew it needed a nonstick frying pan. I was in contact with Angie(?) from Chase N' Rainbow, and after multiple phone conversations she guarenteed that a non stick frying pan was in the unit. It was not and the next day Trinity Cleaning service brought one over. The bottom sheet on the king size bed did not fit. They brough over another, I put it on and it still was too small! I almost forgot, my husband and I pulled down the murphy bed to make sure it had sheets/blankets and there was old larva in the corner of the sheet. The service did come over and clean this but not what I would expect for pay over $400+ a night! Each Unit need to be THOROUGHLY CLEANED EACH TIME THERE IS A TURNOVER.
