With one bedroom, one bath, you and one other guest can enjoy the stunning unobstructed ocean views of the Pacific in comfort and peace. Single level living, fantastic location, with unsurpassed hiking trails just steps away at Fiscalini Ranch Preserve, the ambiance of the home itself helps provide a peaceful and relaxing vacation setting. Sit in front of the large bay windows indoors or recline in the Adirondack chairs just outside the living room to check out the views from this cottage; either way you'll be amazed with the beauty of the Central Coast. The living room has a gas fireplace, flat screen TV and Wi-Fi is provided for your convenience. The spacious kitchen is equipped to meet your cooking and entertainment needs. Wonderful

We love visiting Cambria and this is the best place we’ve stayed so far. The location is absolutely amazing. Fiscalini Ranch just a short walk away. The only thing was the kitchen does not have much lighting and the stove is electric. The bed was very comfortable. We would definitely love to come back.

Peaceful ocean retreat

This is the most stunning stretch of coastline in Cambria. This adorable cottage sits right next to Fiscalini Ranch preserve. This means you not only have a gorgeous ocean view but you also look out onto a beautiful sea cliff. The walking trail is right out the front door. This cove attracts sea otters and harbor seals as well as all kinds of sea birds. The check in/out process is so easy and the King sized bed is super comfortable. This is a wonderful home and I can’t wait to come back again!

Beautiful spot

If you want the drama of the northern pacific, this place had it. Its all about the views. The house is a cool mid central design, but is dated and a bit more rustic than I imagined it, but still comfortable. There are few opening windows. Only one very small one in the living room. I would stst again.

There was not much communication but all the necessary details and even local tips were included. The house and where it is situated is truly special. Great experience. The local Farmers Market (Fri afternoons) provided well - Mighty Cap Mushrooms (yum!), breads, cheeses, meats, fruits and veggies. Spirits from Re:Find Distillery were excellent. Stock up and settle in. The network of trails in the adjacent preserve provided a good variety of scenery and intensity. The views from in the house and the ocean actions, powerful and relaxing.

It is right next to the nature preserve wihich is great for going on walks as is the nieghborhhod. There are deer everywhere. Don't think any farther just book it!

B’day/Anniversity

Road trip was a Xmas present from wife so combined it with her B’day and 51st wedding anniversary. Great place with wonderful ocean views. Explored the area for several days, tours of the castle, etc. Perfect unique rental for a couple.

A gem!

Overlooking the ocean, charming, rustic, clean. This little house is a gem. Every need anticipated: clean towels, soap and shampoo, electrical outlets next to each side of the bed, a fully equipped kitchen. Plush, cozy king sized bed This property is a five star hotel packed in a small, soulful, house. Not to mention the easy walking paths along the ocean bluffs right out your door. We will return!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This Leopold designed home as amazing rustic appeal. While it is rustic it is very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and sitting outside on the edge of the bluff enjoying a glass of wine to see the sunset was our evening ritual. Expensive but worth it. Bring your own shower soap and shampoo as the supplied soap and shampoo was not adequate. Hope to return for another visit.

Amazing location and terrific house

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is an amazing spot, right on the water with the feel of being on a ship. The house is cleverly designed to maximize the location and has lots of ingenious features. The only criticism I have is that the lighting in the kitchen is minimal -- an overhead light would make a big difference. We were underwhelmed by the town of Cambria -- lots of restaurants but the food was more tourist town than noteworthy and lots of twee tourist junk on offer -- but the house itself was well worth spending our time, enjoying the ocean view, and the adjacent nature reserve for hiking.

What’s with the ladder to the control tower?

The view is gorgeous of course. The steps in the house were a bit annoying. We both have arthritis, and hand rails would be nice. Never figured out how to work the shower drain. We were able to use the tv to get to amazon, but otherwise it was a total mystery. Otherwise really quite pleasant.

Upon entering your senses will be overwhelmed with the warm scent of redwood and sweeping views of the Pacific. Take a look through the binoculars and you will see sea otters floating in the bay, pelicans soaring by the edge of the bluff and people walking across the way in the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve.
