Enjoyes out stay

This is the second time we have stayed here. The house provides a lot of space for everyone to spread out. The backyard is quiet and private. My boys love to fish in the pond and i love to watch the turtles.

Beautiful pond and close to shopping

Stayed with our three kids (one infant) and three other family members. The kids loved the games and the guys had a fishing competition in the pond. There was plenty of room for everyone without feeling cramped and we loved how close it was to convenient restaurants and grocery stores. Would stay again!

Bday weekend

Visited Savannah for my bday weekend and this house was perfect! Close enough to the city but far enough away from all the noise. Loved the backyard and the master bedroom bed was super comfortable!

Wonderful home in perfect location

My family had a blast! Perfect location and all the amenities you could possibly need. My son caught a huge fish in the lagoon! Memories that will last a lifetime.

Great Location btw Savannah/Tybee

This property is ideal for families looking to do Savannah/Tybee. Close enough to do it all and come back to the house midday for toddler naps. Communication with owner was great. Thanks!

Whitemarsh Island. Great spot between Tybee and Savannah

The location and the place itself were fantastic. The pictures on the VRBO website do not do it justice. Kids caught approx 30-40 fish out back in the pond. It was a very relaxing place to come to at the end of each day after visiting the surrounding areas during our stay. Very roomy for all. Highly recommended for families looking for a place in the Savannah area. Thank you Rod for being quick on any issues or requests.

Middle of everything

We had never been to the area so had no idea where to stay. The listing says it’s right in the middle of tybee and Savannah and that is accurate. Either direction you drive within 15 minutes you’ll have an abundance of restaurants, shops, bars, beaches, and more. Check in was a breeze (even offered early check in) owner communications were on point. The house was clean and the outside area in the back is the perfect relaxing environment after a long day out and about.

Best of Both Worlds

This is the perfect spot if you want to enjoy Tybee and Downtown Savannah. This spacious and relaxing home was perfect for five adults. Large windows for lighting and viewing the lovely pond and nature. Clean and airy. If I had one critical thing to say is a few lamps for bedrooms would be helpful. The neighborhood was quaint and close to local restaurants. Rod was very responsive to any questions I had. Overall, I would highly recommend this spot.

Wonderful stay!

Rented this house for my family for my daughters graduation from SCAD. The location was perfect, right between Tybee and Savannah. Perfect for my family with my mom, who is older and loved having the downstairs bedroom and bathroom. My older teens loved their rooms as well. We had everything that we needed. Lots of sitting room for visiting and eating after graduation. Loved the backyard area. So relaxing! Especially peaceful in the morning having coffee. My only suggestion would be a bedside lamp in the master bedroom. Everything else was perfect! Thank you so much for hosting my family for such a special and memorable occasion! Would definitely return!

Very relaxing

Online photos don't do it justice. This is a lovely home in a quiet neighborhood close to everything you could want to do in the Savannah/Tybee area. Publix very close by. Well equipped home and so comfortable. Even if you want to just sit around and read, there are 5 individual 2-3 person swings on which to do so. Also good for reading, the large chair in the livingroom. The backyard was very peaceful with it's large pond full of turtles. Since it's Georgia I assume there were alligators too but we didn't see any. Lots of birds and turtles though. We highly recommend this house and are so glad we choose it.

Perfect Location for Savannah and Tybee Island

My wife and I had always wanted to visit Savannah but we also wanted to check out the beach and other attractions at Tybee Island. This property was the absolute best location for doing both as it was a relatively short distance between the two - about a 15 minute drive to either location, more or less. Rod, the property owner, was very friendly and was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. The house itself was very clean when we checked in and we were amazed at the amount of room we had, even with two friends additionally staying with us. We did quite a bit of cooking during our week long stay and everyone commented on how well stocked the kitchen was with pots, pans, any utensil we could ever need, a fairly large pantry, and a full size refrigerator/freezer. The beds were very comfortable and we had plenty of extra towels and linens. The backyard was very nice with a well made fire pit, comfortable bench swings, a peaceful pond, and even some turtle visitors! The neighborhood was also safe and quiet and was conveniently located very close to a Publix and Wal-Mart. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this property to others looking to travel to any of the sites in the Savannah/Tybee Island area.

Great location, nice home, lacking management

Great location - 5 stars. Home well equipped with everything we needed and in theory should also get 5 stars. BUT... property management and listing management was quite lacking. We didn't get check in info and it took several hours and intervention from VRBO for host to respond to us. Then we learned one of the showers did not work. Host was going to send somone to repair but never did. Also host sent very detailed instructions on handling the trash but didn't provide a trash bin. Again host was going to fix the issue but never did. We were there for a week so plenty of time for resolution or at least to let us know what was happening. We were forced to pile up garbage in the garage for a week and that's when we noticed garage door was operated manually and the latch was't locked so somone could have just walked in from the outside. We also realized the back patio door had a faulty latch which was very difficult to operate to begin with but the doorframe was misaligned and the latch never locked so for 3 days, our family slept in a house that was completely unlocked. Thankfully nothing happened but these were major concerns. The door lock from garage to house was installed on the side of garage so completely useless in this scenario. We secured the patio door frame with a piece of wood to prevent anyone from getting in from outside. Neighborhood seemed quiet except for a rooster next door that was quite vocal most hours of the day and some hours of night so earplugs came in

Girls trip!

I joined 3 other ladies for a delightful 4 day girls ( senior girls) trip. The house had 4 bedrooms- 3 up with 2 baths and a sleeper couch on the main floor. We all had our own space and tv! The pond behind the house was beautiful. The house was easy to find. 35/45 minutes from the airport, 15 minutes from downtown Savannah or Tybee Island. The owner was very responsive.

The perfect stay for our family

Location is perfect. Close to Savannah downtown and Tybee beach which we enjoyed during our stay. Property manager, Ron, was awesome even ordered an iron for us during our stay since there was none.

Perfect getaway

I loved this place we had comfy beds, a fan to cool off in every room, plenty of kitchen utensils, close to Paul Deens restaurant, plenty of seating, this rental has set the bar high and would love to come back.

Savannah/ Tybee Getaway

The property and communication with owner was super. The beds were very comfy. We loved the large Tv’s in each room. The lagoon/ pond was such a treat, watching all the amazing wildlife, beautiful birds and turtles. We also enjoyed bike rides to the local nature trail in the neighborhood. The location is easy access to Downtown & Tybee Island/ beach. We explored so much in both places and had some great downtime at our home away from home. It was a perfect vacay, with wonderful memories made. A few places we highly recommend if you have time. -Miss Judy Charter Fishing ( 7 min from location) You can also have your fresh catch prepared at Flying Fish Restaurant. -Finch’s Sandwich shop in Thunderbolt -CrabShack is one of a kind -Pier Fishing & Tybee beach - Olde PinkHouse in Savannah, River Street, Trolley Tours, City Market, Pour Larry’s were some favs.

Really enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend if going to Savannah 👍

Plenty of room a d multiple areas inside to sit and relax especially the back room with all the windows had a great view of the lake The fire pit was amazing to relax by at night or in the mornings by the lake with 3 covered swings. It was like two different areas from the front yard (neighborhood) to the back (woodsy). We would definitely stay here again 👍. Also the owner was more than accommodating and great to work with !! Thanks again for our awesome Christmas week stay 🎄🎁😆
