I am a bit confused about your review ---- I specifically called you the day after checking in to make sure that you were comfortable and that everything was okay and you said that all was fine. I even sent you a follow up email just to make sure you were comfortable? You didn't mention anything about the cleanliness or lights out at that time. If you had, we would have gladly have arranged the cleaners to come back to make you more comfortable or change out any lights that were found not working. Bill

thank you for the kind review. I know that it is no consolation but I do appreciate you helping us with the AC replacement. Acs do not stop working in the winter unfortunately! But we try very hard to make issue as painless as possible when they do come up (and unfortunately all homes will have an issue at some point or other)

Hello Kristen: I am really confused as to why you would post such a scathing review of the property while privately emailing me to come back next year as long as we provide a discount. It is almost as if you are trying to hold the property hostage with your review until a discount is given. If so much was allegedly wrong, why would you want to return? I do have to correct a few of the items that you failed to mention in your review. Yes, there was a problem with one of the toilets that a previous guest flushed a small shampoo bottle but the plumber was there within a few hours to address the clog. The other 2 toilet issues were caused by your own actions of using too much paper which stopped them up to the point of overflowing. But we were able to help quickly by sending our handyman over to fix an issue which you caused, twice. The other issues (cleaning, dryer, etc.) were all issues you did not reported to us during your stay when we could have addressed them. You only put them in your review after the fact. And with your post-stay private emails to me, more and more things were added to your list of things which made you unhappy, with the latest being mold in the icemaker. With all of these issues that you supposedly experienced, it doesn’t make sense why you would ask to return to the property next year (but only with a discount of course). But we are proactively looking at the issues you reported to make sure that they are, in fact, not issues. In fact, we reached out to the next guest who reported that the dryer was working fine, the house was very clean, the toilets were working fine, etc. The one good thing that your review shows is that, yes, CB and its agents work very hard to make sure that when issues do arise (and sorry, there are always maintenance issues with all houses) we proactively work to quickly correct them for the comfort of our guest. I do have to thank you for your review and telling everyone how quickly we work to resolve issues both unforeseen and ones from improper usage. We are here to make your stay as comfortable as we can and IF we are alerted of issues in the home, we do our best to correct them. I wish you the best where ever your travels may take you.
