An exceptional stay awaits at this serene home nestled amongst soaring pine trees in a quiet neighborhood of Flagstaff, Arizona. This inviting home does not come without modern touches, featuring tastefully updated bed and bathrooms. There is plenty to enjoy at the Big Sky Family Retreat; play a match of air hockey or foosball, enjoy a family movie night in the spacious family room, or sit down for a relaxing evening and fresh air on the inviting deck. The enclosed backyard comes equipped with a private gas grill for game days. The kitchen is a wonder on its own and has all stainless steel appliances that will make cooking a breeze, including a French-door fridge, stove, oven, dishwasher, and microwave! You can also find a two-person desk right there, which is perfect for those who need to work from home considering this retreat also features free high-speed Internet and WiFi.

The first floor has only one bedroom and a full bathroom, both secluded and apart from the main living space, providing guests with a sense of privacy. Upstairs you can find four more bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a laundry room with a washer/dryer combo. The primary bedroom has a flatscreen TV and an en-suite full bath with a separate tub, double vanity, and walk-in shower. There is a bunk room and a regular bedroom with air hockey and foosball tables, both perfect for kids!

Amazing Family Home

It was full of amenities that are great for any family. Plenty of kitchenware and tv’s in each room and in the living area. The backyard is perfect for BBQ and for hanging out. Overall highly recommend the property.

Poor Quailty. Not recommended

I would not recommend this property. The house is quoted for large families. There is not any room large enough to seat more than 4 people at a time. The few towels that were provided were folded and still wet. They smelled mildewed. There was not any wash cloths in the house. Floors needed cleaning. The bathtub did not drain. The laundry room had so much dust and dirt in the air vent and on the walls, they were black. We ended our stay a day early bc of the poor quality of this home

Great stay

Great neighborhood and location to stay in Flagstaff. Plenty of room for 4 couples with kids. Plenty of towels, pillows and linen provided Only draw back, no dishsoap provided for dishwasher. Dishes were dirty when arrived in dishwasher. We called there help service and they responded that someone would bring soap out immediately. Soap was never delivered. Still worth the stay for fun and memories

Great place.

This place is great for large groups. The only thing it didn’t have was a can opener but we managed. Ceiling fans needed to be dusted but otherwise it was great.

Disappointed

The size of the house and property were great. Unfortunately, when we checked into the house, the temperature was 35 degrees and it took hours upon hours to get the temperature regulated in the house. The dishwasher leaked and the master television did not work. The house had not been properly cleaned prior to our arrival which was extremely frustrating. The house did have the perfect amount of space for several adults and kids. The children absolutely loved the game room and the adults really enjoyed the fire pit in the backyard. The house was in a great location as it was only 5 minutes away from downtown Flagstaff and 10 minutes away from the Flagstaff snow park.

Great location and space - needs a deep cleaning.

As the title says, this property is located in a great neighborhood on a cul de sac. The house had enough space for 4 adults and 5 kids with 4 bedrooms upstairs and 1 downstairs. The downside of this property was its lack of cleanliness. It smelled like Lysol upon walking in but upon closer inspection, there was dust and dog hair everywhere. The chairs in the dining room are dirty and the showers were stained and peeling. We vacuumed to let kids play on the floor and we purchased cleaning supplies for the kitchen, along with dishwasher pods and garbage bags since there weren’t any at the property. We messaged the property manager about garbage bags and they responded at 3AM with a generic response to check under the sink. Overall, we were disappointed in this property but we were glad the Flagstaff weather was great so we didn’t have to stay inside all day.

Not good

The snow was not removed from the driveway, no room the vehicles advertised because of that . We had to park on the street. Then received a parking ticket from the City. I would expect a refund of the $48 fine for the parking ticket but have not received one. This has been my worst VRBO experience, from the overflowing trash and smell on arrival, to the downstairs water pressure trickling and the shower door doesn't shut all the way, the lights flicker in the downstairs bathroom as well as the downstairs bedroom, the upstairs master shower feels like your going to fall through the floor. The master shower has overpowering water pressure and the upstairs guest shower has very little water pressure. Hot water takes a long time and then is scalding hot. There is a beeping noise we could not track that beeps every minute. There is a leak in the roof at the front door that drips water on you as you enter and exit. Internet problems to top it off. When you call you are connected to an operator that only knows what the computer tells them about the house. I complained during the stay, was told sorry. I always enjoy renting from owners that know and care for the home, this is a cooperate company that is the opposite of that.

Lumberjack Celebration

The size of the home for our party was perfect. Even though there were many of us, the home still felt comfy. The home welcomed us with a clean and Christmas vibe. We could not have asked for a better experience or home for celebrating our daughter’s graduation from NAU.

The cabin is in a nice neighborhood, close to stores and restaurants. The check-in process was very easy, and all the rooms in beds are very comfortable.

Improvements to the house

The house was lovely but we spent miserable nights because the only cooling we had was ceiling fans. We had to buy two box fans and it was still way to hot. The house needs air conditioning. Not enough drinking glasses, only four. No salt and pepper shakers or sugar bowl. Ceiling fan in master bedroom had very loose blades.

Easy booking process, clean home.

We were in town to celebrate NAU graduation. Great location for getting to campus quickly. We had elderly grandparents with us, so the downstairs bedroom was great for them.

Enjoyable and relaxing

Clean, comfortable, in quiet neighborhood. Large backyard. Lots of board games and even a foosball and air hockey to play. There were a couple small mechanical issues with outlets and a couple lights not working. But nothing that took away from our trip.

Excellent property

Very spacious and clean to accommodate a large group. Kitchen was stocked up with everything we needed and kids had lot of fun in snow as well as air hockey and foosball table. Community and neighbors are really nice too.

Ski Trip

We enjoyed staying at this home for easy access to skiing at Snow Bowl. The house is in a very family friendly, quiet neighborhood and easy to get to from the interstate. The house was overall clean but the kitchen could use a deep cleaning and it would have been great to have the sidewalk cleared after a large snowstorm. We would certainly book this property again!

Everything was great with the exception of the gate to the backyard. It was broken and our dog got out. I hope this is fixed now for future guests dogs and children.

Big, cozy home in need of some attention to detail

We enjoyed our stay in this home as it was close to town and had the space and amenities we were looking for. The kitchen appliances, especially coffee maker and dishwasher were a little well worn, however overall this is a good house for a family or group get together. Good backyard space and neighborhood too!
