OFF MARKET FOR NOW Frisco - Spacious, Private, Family Neighborhood,

The recently and beautifully renovated Hatteras Heritage House is a 2-story 4,000 sq ft home, spacious enough for you to gather as a group or find a private corner for yourself. It is located in a family neighborhood, so it is not a party house; rather it is for families and groups seeking a pleasant, relaxing, yet quieter retreat.

The open floor plan allows for easy conversations between the living room, dining room & kitchen. The large, well-equipped kitchen offers 2 sink areas, double oven, new 5-burner gas range, and a coffee bar around the corner. The chef(s) can chat with company who are sitting at the counter. Large deck w/ grill & patio table for 10. The game room has a regulation-size pool table and card table for fun-night every night! A wet bar in the living room keeps the fixings for those festive summer drinks all in one place. The large yard is perfect for corn-hole toss and horse-shoe games, equipment provided during your stay.

Our standard calendar runs from 4 p.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. the following Saturday. Longer stays can be accommodated, so just let us know what your preferences are.

Your pets are welcome as long as they meet the conditions noted below. Because HHH is in a neighborhood with small children, these requirements must be strictly adhered to.
‱ Are over 2 years old – no puppies allowed
‱ Are house trained and non-destructive
‱ Do not have a strong body odor
‱ Are not allowed to get on the furniture and beds
‱ Are not sick with uncontrolled bodily functions
‱ Have NOT been trained to attack
‱ Have NOT shown aggressive behavior in the past.
You are required to remove all scat from the yard by the time you check out.
We ask that you brush your pet(s) each day to help with cleaning services, to protect the furniture, and to assure the next guests can enjoy HHH.

HHH was built by a commercial fisherman in 1992. Commercial fishermen live in the area. You will experience the true Hatteras lifestyle.

Don’t hesitate - book it!

This was a wonderful place to stay with my family. The house is very well appointed and very large. Plenty of space for the kids and parents to enjoy each others company but also split up and have fun. Highly recommend!

Incredible Home! Must stay here

We loved the Hatteras Heritage House, had everything we needed for the week and was super spacious. Location was great a very short drive to the beach, and close to a convenience store in case you need anything through the trip. Neena was super responsive and tentative which we really appreciated! Roads to get there were a little rough but drive slow and you’ll be fine. Would definitely stay here in the future!

The house was amazing. All the amenities that we would want, spacious, comfortable. And the owner/manager was great. The pre-call before we arrived is a great idea and we would recommend this to other property managers. Everyone in our group was very happy with our stay.

Awesome House

Was very clean and well stocked with towels, linens, trash bags, paper towels, and soaps and detergents! The kitchen was awesome as my husband loves too cook along with the grill! The bedrooms were just the right amount for all of us! We loved being close to the beaches! And the kids loved the pool table and the games!

Lovely Home

Our stay was during Thanksgiving and it was wonderful. Very spacious house with all the amenities as a home. Very quiet neighborhood and area. The beach is easy to get to. We especially liked the TV sizes, the kitchen and dining room. Many places give you tiny TVs and kitchens but not here. It was clean and well maintained. Very enjoyable stay.

Perfect

In over 30 years of renting houses at the outer banks I can't think of a better rental experience. By far the cleanest house we've ever had. Loved how almost all rooms are on the lower level. Huge bedrooms. Comfortable beds. Well furnished. Great pool table. Many outdoor games provided also. Our best renting experience of the OBX. We plan on returning!

Awesome Vacation Home!

We have been coming to the OBX for many years, we usually get a ocean side or ocean front house for the week, but this time we decided we wanted a little more private and this house was perfect! Super quiet neighborhood, the house had anything and everything we needed and huge! The owners are awesome and always quick to respond to any questions. It was also great for kids and older family because only a couple steps to get in instead of 2 stories of steps just to get in. Great location for us, only thing that would have made it better was a fence for our puppers and kids but that’s no biggy. Great place! You will love it!

Beautiful Home

The home is well appointed from the kitchen to the bath towels. Communications were prompt and informative. The Master and 2 additional bedrooms are on the first floor which is ideal for small children or elderly adults. Two additional bedrooms are located on the 2nd level of the home. The location is close to drive on beach ramp, by Billy Mitchell Airport. Hatteras proper is a quick 10 minute drive south. I highly recommend this home for a family vacation.

Wonderfull house to spend your holiday in the OBX

Rented the property with a total of 4 adults and 6 children. When we arrived we met with the owners and had a nice chat. During our stay we were very happy with the fact that there was a very complete kitchen which allowed us to cook as we wanted. The bedrooms were nice, with good matrasses and the entire property was very clean. Most important; the house had a personal touch from the owners and really felt like you arrived in a home instead of in a house. We spent a wonderful week here and would definitely recommend it to friends and family. 1 point to take notice of; the roads leading to the property are in poor condition and require carefull driving. Neena, Eric and Ashley; thank you very much for your hospitality!

Great place to stay for Outer Banks

We loved the house. The pictures were very accurate for what to expect. The place was spacious and clean. It was a great place for a family get together. We had three generations with 10 people and it was a perfect house for our family. We had plenty of room to spread out and we enjoyed the great common spaces like the family room. The kitchen, dining room, deck and family room were very nice common spaces. The house was close to Buxton and Hattaras, and a short drive to Avon. The Frisco beach is very nice and a short drive from the house. The house is in a less commercial than the northern part of OBX, which I liked and had ready access to the Ocracoke Ferry. Roads to the house need some improvement but are definitely workable. The neighborhood is a little on the undeveloped side, but the house truly makes up for that. If you like a less commercial visit to OBX, then I would definitely recommend this property. It also works very well for elderly people who benefit from a single-level experience. Also, Neena, the property manager was very easy to work with and very helpful.

Bachelorette party/Girlfriends getaway

The property was everything we imagined and more! The property is beautifully tucked away, and the perfect location for a great beach vacation. The house is well designed and tastefully decorated. There are multiple indoor and outdoor shared spaces. We enjoyed having indoor and outdoor dining tables (grill available) and a large deck area, a large living room great to relax and watch movies after the beach, a sunroom with a smaller table and couch, and a pool table room. We all really love to cook and I have never in my life seen a better equipped rental kitchen, top notch! The kitchen has SO much space for everyone to congregate. We each had an amazing bedroom, 2 bedrooms shared bathrooms and the master has its own private bathroom(ginormous)! The bed in the master bedroom was incredibly comfortable and l was told the other mattresses were as well. The house is really close to great restaurants and beaches. We enjoyed eating out a couple of times (Risky Business shrimp is soooo good!) but mainly cooked at the house. The beaches are easy to access and fun to check out different ones. It was the perfect vacation, and I can't wait to go back!!! If you get the chance to rent you will not be disappionted!

JUST US

The house was amazing it had everything you needed and more for a couple. I would not come in the cold because the master bedroom was cold at night and the bathroom. They did provide a space heater but it didn't work. It was find we had another bathroom to use. The wifi messed up every night in the master bedroom so if you have to have a tv like we did to go to sleep it was a problem. No (SPECTRUM) does not answer the phone so we had to take care of it ourselves which was fine. The owners must know about this problem because they have a detail information book for you to read on what to do about when something goes wrong like this. Overall we had a wonderful time. Neena was great and is helpful I just didn't bother her about the issues.

AMAZING Experience

This was a fantastic location for a family or group vacation. The location is great. It's far down the island and away from a lot of the hustle and touristy northern parts. Its more rural, but still very coastal and you can be walking on either the ocean side beach or the coastal shoal area in about 6 minutes from your front door. The house itself is very well appointed and has a ton of space. There are excellent little details which make your stay easy such as power banks in every room, Smart TV's and a desk with a printer. There are also 2 laundry areas which is very helpful with a group. They have a great game room with a TV, pool table and board games and the library upstairs is very comfortable. The beds are comfortable and they have an AMAZING service where you get packaged sheets and towels delivered before your stay so you know everything is cleaned and sanitized. The kitchen has everything you will need and even had olive oil and spices. The deck is gigantic with a table for 10 and a grill that gave us no issues. Finally, the hosts. We interacted with Neena before, during and after our stay and she was an absolute delight. She was responsive and really cared that our vacation was the best it could possibly be. I couldn't say more about working with her and we will definitely be renting this property again when we return to the outer banks.

Our names are Eric, Ashely, and Levi Moerschel. We are down to earth people who believe in fairness, integrity, doing the right thing, working hard, having fun, and looking out for each other. You can trust that we will be honest about the house, so your expectations are based on fact.

We have been vacationing here in Frisco for 18 years, and we love it! Eric is a master timber-framer in Fayetteville, WV, who can't get enough of being out on the water fishing. Okay, he loves hunting, too. Ashley is a stay-at-home mom to 6-year-old Levi; she enjoys boating, fishing, and being on the beach. Ashley is also an outstanding cook, and the local seafood gives her an opportunity to nurture her family and friends with fresh and delicious meals. Levi is a cute, delightful, bright, fun-filled ball of energy. We know already he’s an engineer – he has been watching videos like How to Repair Your Roomba for 2 years!

Eric's mother (Caroline) and aunt (Neena) will be on-call most of the time to make sure your stay in the Hatteras Heritage House is seamless.

We know how important it is for families and friends to be able to vacation here on the beautiful, everchanging, mostly serene, and sometimes stormy Outer Banks. May you have great memories of being here!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

In 2021, we bought this house because it is such a great space for families and groups to vacation and rejuvenate. With 4000 sq. ft., it provides a lotta room! It needed work, but the bones are solid - not a floor-board squeaks! We are do-it-yourself people and have finished the first stage of the renovation: paint, flooring, furnishing, black-out curtains, critical kitchen upgrades, and general comfort and safety features. Next projects include new sliding glass doors, windows, new decking out back and in front.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We love that HHH has 3 distinct sleeping areas. Facing the house, the wing coming toward the street on the left is the Master Bedroom Suite. In the wing coming toward the street on the right of the front door are 2 bedrooms, a bath, and laundry. Upstairs are another large bedroom and the twin beds room. This feature allows for privacy and arranging of guest sleeping areas based on any criteria you have.
