The house features a main bedroom with a queen bed, a second-floor bedroom with a twin top bunk and full bottom bunk, an ocean-side bedroom with a queen bed, and a bottom floor bedroom with another queen bed. Additionally, there is a beautiful loft sitting area with views of both the sound and the ocean, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring.

Perfect for surf and sound!

Loved the location of this house! Direct access and views of the sound facing due west for perfect paddles and sunsets! AND a very easy 5 minute walk to a beautiful, crowd-free beach. The renovated house was clean, fresh and very comfortable for our 2 families.

-beautiful view of sound from multiple rooms/decks. -ocean easy access, less than 1/4 mile away. -clean, plenty of linens, kitchen supplies etc.. -right off the main road, lots of food options, less than 10 mins to ferry

Needs TLC but I’d rent it again

We loved the location. Right on the sound and can see the ocean. Large lot gives you more privacy than most places. Road out TS Ophelia like a champ.

Renovated house with cute beach furnishings. Wonderful location! Sound access and walk right across the road to the beach. Home could use better mattress or mattress pad. Need more comfy seating options for families. Great place!

Girls weekend

House was huge. Lots of rooms. Kitchen was well stocked. The third bathroom is outside and rustic. So really only 2 bathrooms. The kitchen area has good variety of utensils. Ocean is across the street. Some restaurants close by.

Plenty of space - needs a deep clean

lots of bed space and big kitchen area. Love the parking space. However the hot tub needs a deep cleaning and the furniture is super dusty and musty. there was a pile of broken deck chairs on the deck. with a deep clean, this would be a great spot with amazing views.

Good location, but run down and not very clean.

This house has plenty of room and a great location. The exterior is a little rundown with pieces of wood falling off everywhere and trash laying in the yard and under the house. A couple days of handyman work and a good deep clean could easily make this a five star house. We were a group of six men on a fishing trip and we would stay here again, but would definitely not bring our families to this house.

House met needs. Does need a few things fixed/replaced. Mini blinds in LR/kitchen are broken and ragged . Most windows lack screens or they are torn. Fixtures need brighter bulbs especially in kitchen and under microwave . Pet friendly and is noted in appearance of carpeted area in sitting room on 2nd lvl. Pet odors noticed. BR on ground level is dark and musty. No sun and very dim lighting. As stated the house met needs but good be nicer with a little TLC

Not the greatest star - 2 star at most

Loved: the view. Neighbors dock was better shape and entrance. This one was in a mud pit. my dogs loved it, i did not. Bee hives in the underground area. Roaches in house. Found 3 in sink. 2 in bathroom. 2 in other bathroom. 3 in bedroom. NOT A FAN. AC did not work the first 3 days. i got $200 back. (DOES NOT COMPENSATE FOR ISSUES) 2 star at most, 1 star rating. I would never stay here again. Maybe half the price it was at ($4800 for week - off season)

On the other hand, AC has been replaced and repaired by professional maintenance person. Given the overall issues, we can see how frustrating this must be for you. Beautiful sound view

Upon arrival this house was very dirty. I had to vacuum the floors and couches because they were covered in dog hair, dirt and sand. The stove, microwave and counters were covered in grease. The house had a musty smell throughout. We had to buy Glade plug ins and candles to mask the smell. The hot tub only had 2 working jets and many many pieces to the hot tub on the ground. It also had a leak somewhere because the hot tub was less than half full by the second day. We only used the hot tub for about an hour. Very disappointing 😞 The view of the sound was this property's saving grace. A Only a few of the window blinds actually worked..there was rips in the carpet, the decks seemed sketchy as well as several loose pickets on the decks.

Property needs some attention.

Right after check-in had to call housekeeping to come clean pee stains on carpets and clean the grease in kitchen. They showed up same day. There were other issues that maintenance was called about 3 days in a row. Never showed up. Door knob falling off, no glass on wicker coffee table so couldn’t be used, middle floor TV picture shrinking, pickets on top deck loose, light burnt out over stove , door on laundry area falling off and a few other things. My husband finally went and bought some tools to fix the door knob. This is off season no excuse for at least giving us a call back. We won’t be renting from Hatteras anymore. Furthermore this house is for sale by another reality company so you would think they would keep it up.
