This tastefully decorated condo is part of the Carousel Hotel, which is famous for its ice rink and amenities mentioned above. Enjoy an oceanfront location with picture-perfect beach views and a convenient waterfront balcony. Cook up a masterpiece in the fully-equipped kitchen and surprise your group with tasty meals and beach snacks. Then, you all can rest for a while watching TV or reading in the living room before heading out to one of the pools or the beach! The private washer/dryer on site will take care of your swimming suits and laundry during your stay.

*The opening and closing of building amenities is at the discretion of the building. Please note during the off-season some amenities are not operable. Call with questions.

THINGS TO KNOW
No smoking and no pets, please.

Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 2 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Amazing Views

It is very unique to have the view of the ocean out of the back of the unit and an amazing view of the bay out of the front of the unit! The ammenities at Carousel were just starting up and we hope to return when it's in full swing for summer time!

Just ok

Outdated furniture knobs missing on dresser drawer so screw was sticking out. Wheel of bed in master bed turned out so it was a slight hazard. Amenities were awesome! Restaurant, bar and pool.

Nice stay

It was a comfortable and cozy stay. The property is in overall very good condition. My biggest complaint is the lack of Wi-Fi and many spots in the condo were dead spots and I couldn’t even use my phone with my service. I realize that the condo shares Wi-Fi with the hotel and that may be part of the issue. The Wi-Fi didn’t work at all the entire time we stayed. It didn’t even work in parts of the hotel. I had to go to Starbucks to use my laptop and work. I would come back if I had solid WiFi.

I understand how frustrating it must have been, especially since you needed it for work. I reviewed the maintenance report and noticed our local team did try to assist, but unfortunately, the building’s shared WiFi can become spotty, especially when many guests on the 19th floor are using the same login. Since it's managed by the building, it’s out of our control. We hope this won’t stop you from coming back in the future. We’d love to host you again.

Condo had amazing view. It was surfaced cleaned. Could really use a deep clean. VRBO mentions it has a 'full kitchen to cook a great meal ' which is not 100% true. They provided bath towels that were great if you needed to exfoliate your skin. (Very rough). Overall we had a good stay.

OC condo review

The overall space was nice for a short stay at the beach. The kitchen & bathrooms were more modern than anything else. However, the bedrooms & walls could use some renovation. Also, there was a strange smell in the kitchen the whole time it smelt like leftover bacon. And when the air conditioning came on, it stank up the rooms; the filters probably need to be replaced. Other than that the balcony views were amazing!

The view was amazing but we had issues with the condo itself. Dryer didn't work. Can opener didn't work. Light in living room flickered. Very few lamps and no clocks. Master bed was very uncomfortable, it sagged In the middle.

Resort nice but condo experience was not

We had no linens, towels or our starter pack of paper products that we were told we would have. We had to go buy 4 sets of sheets, pillow cases and towels for 6 people. Had to go buy trash bags…etc. it was a nightmare. Sofa & love seat were badly stained. Balcony views of bay & ocean were amazing and best part. Love the carousel but will likely not book through vacasa again and will book condos directly through the carousel. Refunded our linen fee but that still didn’t come close to the cost of all the things we had to go out and buy not to mention the major inconvenience.

Work in progress

Property has had some nice upgrades in the kitchen and with the appliances, but the rest of the condo seems to have been neglected. There was not enough, and uncomfortable seating in the living area. The beds were some of the most uncomfortable we’ve ever slept on, the finishing seemed sloppy with rods and handles wobbly and loose, walls dinged and dirty, very slow public internet. Also basics were not provided and this was not named in the listing which was unfortunate, only two rolls of toilet paper, no hand or dish soap even though there seemed to have been dishes in the kitchen. The ambiance of the hotel, while we had low expectations was disappointing as well. The neighbor’s smoked so much pot on the balcony we couldn’t open the door or enjoy the balcony ourselves. The upstairs neighbors have very loud furniture and the sliding sounded like nails on a blackboard through 1 or 2 in the morning each day we were there. The kids were in tears from the disruption. In all, we were relieved to leave.

Vacasa sucks, unit not kept well

The Cousousel itself is a great place to take the family in OC. But DO NOT go through Vacasa property management! Did not have linens for pullout matress. Called Vacasa, had to leave a message. Got a call back but was told it might be a while. It was the NEXT day! so they slept on a bare mattress the first night. When I called the second time the lady sounded like I woke her up and then hung up on me. The unit looks updated but they are OLD pics. Couch is torn and pull out mattress is so flat it might as well not be there, you can feel nothing but springs and bars. Table was filthy from a spill housekeeping didn't clean. Dishes were grimey. Balcony was dirty and furniture was broken. Dryer was not vented and caused condensation issues in master bath, who's shower door was also broken. Beds are hard as rocks and closets haven't been cleaned probably ever. Do yourself a favor and book through the Carousel itself so you have on-site housekeeping and managers to help you. They can't do anything for you if you go through this sham of a "managment" agency. I spoke to Carousel managment and they said they only have issues and bad things reported to them about Vacasa. And they feel bad bc they can't do anything to help bc we didn't book through them and condos are considered private property.

Condo was filthy

We absolutely love the Carousel but this Condo was Filthy There were food crumbs, nut shells and sand all over the couch. The floor was so dirty my feet turned black from walking on it barefoot. We found Candy/gum wrappers in the bed along with a half eaten Oreo cookie. The furniture was stained and some things were broken. The lint trap to dryer looked like it had never been cleaned before. This is a fire hazard. We looked behind the dryer. The vent was not connected to the dryer and it appeared to have some sort of liquid in it. The shower door in master bath was broken. The provided vacuum was broken. There were no extra blankets for pull out bed. Every single pillow in the condo had stains on them. There were only 2 rolls of toilet paper, no soap and no paper towels.

Great OC location

We thoroughly enjoy this area of Ocean City - can't beat the location. The building is shared hotel/condominiums. There is so much to do within the building itself. The kids loved the outdoor and indoor pools. The gym is small but very adequate and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. We did not eat on site, but the prices on the menus seemed very reasonable. For the condo itself, the listing says it is a partial Ocean view and I suppose it is listed that way because there is a portion of the building in front of the balcony but it does not hinder your Ocean view. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to have family dinners. The only cons we discovered were the two balconies furnitures we're broken and in need of replacing. The dryer also did not work, which we did not discover until we had a full load of wet clothes. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would book again.

Do not recommend

Unfortunately, I would not recommend nor stay here again. The check in time was 4pm. That's when we checked in. We got to the condo and none of the beds were made and all of the previous renters dirty laundry was sitting on top. The floors were filled with sand and dirt. Clearly they did not finish cleaning. Five minutes in, I received a knock on the door only to find a bag filled with linens and towels no person, no explanation. The cando manager for the carousel advised we reach out to Vacasa, I sent an email and she called as well. No reply. About a half hr in another knock on the door and it was a manager from the cleaning company, I will say she was very kind and apologetic. She changed all beds and vacuumed. Our sheets were new however comforters were not washed. So I'm assuming they reuse them from previous renters. We washed them ourselves along with the pillows. For what I'd paid for two nights I'd expect a clean condo and certainly not a cleaning fee when I did most of it. Or bare minimum a return email? I will not be spending money on another vacasa rental nor will I recommend them. For the carousel itself the hotel is definitely kid friendly the only con was it was extremely busy and crowded.
