Great place to stay it was clean. It was an end unit so we had more windows. Close to lazy river and pools. Enjoyed the balcony off the master bedroom, we didn't use it much but it was nice.

Property and location was perfect. My son loved being able to walk right out to the lazy river. I had several questions for the host before we arrived, and was answered back almost immediately. This will be my go to beach destination for Destin from now on.

The Sandpiper was one of the best spots. We wanted a 1st floor unit so we could step out the door onto river -no elevator! This location had a direct killer view of the bay water, felt like a condo ON the water, plus the physical position of the unit is next to the green space, which green landscaping is pleasant and luxurious. I stepped out to the other side and many could see the bay, but the areas were all concrete looking back at you. Our spot next to the green space was a bonus. The lazy river was EXACTLY what we were looking for, floating around without the waterpark whistles and lines. Very relaxing stay, and plenty of activity in Destin if desire. We took a hydroboat small group dolphin watching tour and had a super great time. Enjoyed cooking our favorites without having to go out every moment, we brought groceries and ready made items as frozen homemade macaroni and cheese, lasagna, and jerk sausage with pineapple skewers. Our vacation was superb! This particular condo position is a winner!

The location of this condo is fantastic. A couple things I wish I had known before coming. There were no pool or beach towels provided. When I messaged to ask if they were somewhere, I got no response. There was a really strong chemical smell when entering the condo. Air fresheners don’t bother me but my family and I had a headache from it while inside the condo. There were stains on the chair in the bedroom and old blood stains on the pillowcase. The floors were dirty and greasy like they hadn’t been mopped well. The rug was pretty dirty and stained as well. Overall the location was great being right by the pool but I wouldn’t stay in this unit again because of the smell and lack of cleanliness.

Great stay

The condo is in a great location. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. We have stayed in three other units at Destin West and this by far is our favorite.

My family and I have stayed at Destin West three times. We loved every condo but this is our favorite. Not a single complaint. I wish we would have booked it for longer. This condo was very clean and will be our go to unit from now on.

Condo was as advertised. Great location on 1st floor with easy pool and grill access.

Destin West is a great property with plenty of amenities. Pool, lazy river and beach access across the street. We have stayed at this property 3 times for softball tournaments over the last 3 years. We would definitely stay again and would recommend to others to stay here.

Great property and owners

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Destin west beach and bay resort. We lived the lazy river and having a grill right out the back door! Our last night there we had a leak under the kitchen sink and Julie was easy to get a hold of and had someone there within minutes to fix it! We would recommend this place to anyone!

Always a great time. Loved this unit.

We've been to this property before and were so excited to come back. We had not stayed in this unit before and it is our new favorite. Great ground floor unit with a wall straight out to the lazy river and right by the steps to get to the parking lot quickly. We will be back!

Wonderful place!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our party included 3 generations, aged 4 to 66, and every one of us would give this place 5 stars. We were there for a week and did the beach in the morning and the pools in the afternoon. Couldn't ask for more. Can't wait to return!

Wonderful condo!

It was a great condo. We loved most of everything about it. The sofa bed was terrible and unusable as a place to sleep. We loved the linens on the beds and towels were great. The location of the condo was perfect! We left a check list in the drop box at the office as we left about incidentals that need attention such as replacing batteries in clock, etc.
