Sandpiper 508. Come "Sea" what everyone is raving about! This adorable 1 Bedroom plus Bunkroom condo that sleeps 6 is new to our rental program and we are excited to bring it to you. Step out to beautiful views of our one of a kind lazy river and the Choctawhatchee Bay from your condo's private balcony located just off the open living area. From the moment you walk in to this condo, you will be amazed at the view from this 5th floor corner condo. Master bedroom has a private smaller balcony that offers beautiful views of the Gulf of Mexico!

Destin West bayside offers a 700 foot lazy river for you to float all of your cares away. Tubes are provided by the resort so no need to bring anything more than your swimsuit and sunscreen. We provide all the vibes for a relaxing vacation for you and your family. Along with the lazy river, there is a waterfall pool (heated during winter months), 2 large hot tubs, access to the marina where you can fish without a license. Destin West Gulfside has beach access and 2 pools available for you to use.
Thinking of bringing your boat? We can offer a boat slip rental. Slip off to Crab Island for the day or head out for a day of fishing.
At the end of the day, enjoy the lazy river light show as you and your family float or as you watch from your balcony.

AMAZING place to stay

We all loved this condo and were sad to leave! When we walked in we were blown away by how clean, spacious and beautifully decorated the condo was. It had everything we needed too. We loved that one balcony showed incredible views of the bay and the lazy river. The other balcony, outside the master bedroom, has views of the Gulf. Everything exceeded all of our expectations!!

Excellent!

Great condo for a family of 4! Updated kitchen, very clean. It’s an end unit so lots of light. Beautiful view of the lazy river pool and bay from the back deck and a view of the ocean from the Master deck in the front(most condos here don’t have that). We had a great time in the pool/swimming in the bay with most of our baseball team staying at the property as well. Thanks!!

Good Location, but on noisy highway

In general, our unit was satisfactory. Living area was quite dark, needed more light as reading was difficult. The deck facing the lagoon was very nice and relaxing. However, the front deck off the bedroom was quite close to a busy highway and the noise made it anything but relaxing.

Great place! Really enjoyed our stay! Would book again!

The condo was great! My only complaint is there were no beach towels just regular towels. And the beach chairs and such were very rusted.?? We had to ask for additional toilet paper and paper towels I was there was not enough stored . Everything else was spectacular.

Great Spring Break with the family

The pool area was perfect for our kids. The walk to the beach is not bad as you just pack up for the day and head over. Our son loved being able to head to the bay in the morning and catch things with his net. My only complaints would be that the traffic on the main road is very loud. Bring a fan to drown out some of the noise when you are sleeping. I also feel the kitchen could have been stocked a little better. We went with friends whose condo had a lot more in their kitchen than we did and had to borrow some things from them. But all in all, the balcony was so nice to sit on and have a morning coffee and enjoy the view. The condo was big enough for my family of 5 and having a washer and dryer right in the unit was so convenient.

Beautiful and Relaxing Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sandpiper 508 had a beautiful view of the bay! The view of the bay with the lazy river and palm trees underneath made us feel as if we were in a Hawaiian resort. The resort is just a quick drive to Destin, which is where we ate each night. The condo itself was very spacious. I can't really find anything to complain about. The walk to the beach was not bad at all over the bridge. My only complaint with it is the access. We had to go down out elevator, over to another elevator, go up and walk across, then go back down to the ground floor. Other than that, no complaints about this resort and our stay! Highly recommend and will be back!

Great Vacation

This property is very clean and updated. It is within walking distance to all of the restaurants at the pier. It is a bit of a walk to get to the beach but you have a wagon and beach chairs in the condo to use. We would stay here again.

Overall, the place was better than even advertised online! Super clean, convenient, and had everything you need for a vacation (beach gear, towels, umbrella, wagon, kitchen appliances). It was also in a great location and walking distance to the beach.

Not a bad place to be confined to during the hurricane. Very comfortable furniture, the internet worked, the kitchen was stocked well enough with pots and pans, etc. Never lost internet or cable during the hurricane, except for maybe a couple of mins. Location is GREAT. Very convenient to FWB and Destin. (Too bad most restaurants were closed during hurricane). Never used the pool or lazy river due to work and environmental conditions, but it looked nice, and wasn't too loud at all. I travel to this area frequently and plan on booking this unit in the future.
