Great week on the island

We love staying at Destin West and this place was spectacular. They have thought of everything and constantly stayed in touch. Everything you needed for meals were in the kitchen, plenty of towels in the bathroom, and laundry in the unit! We can’t wait to stay again.

The owner was Amazing to work with. She gave lots of suggestions for places to eat and things to do. The condo was Very clean and had no issues. We enjoyed the stay and having beach chairs and an umbrella available everyday. We plan on coming back next year if not sooner.

Wonderful!

The condo was clean. The amenities were great. The property management went above and beyond. We had to get back into the property after checkout due to leaving a very important item behind. They were very responsive. Check in was a breeze. Parking was great. The beach access was perfect. Overall, highly recommend.

It was beautiful!

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was beautifully decorated and very comfortable! Our view of the pool area and of the Gulf was amazing. We loved it! We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach. And being able to enjoy the amenities of the Ramada was also very nice.

Very happy with this condo/owner

Our stay was so nice and relaxing. The master bed slept better than any mattress I have used on vacation. The view was amazing and the location is wonderful. Teresa was so accommodating. We will definitely consider staying in this condo next year:)

The condo was clean and very comfortable. They amenities were great, as was the view. The beach was absolutely stunning. This condo came with free beach service, providing two chairs and an umbrella. There are several pools that you can utilize, ranging from a large swimming pool, to smaller heated pools and a lazy river. The area is wonderful, though sometimes busy. Plenty of great food options in the area and shopping. So much for the whole family.

Wonderful property and views

We loved just about everything about this property, location was great, views were amazing! Chairs were easy to reserve(we would go down about 8:40am to get in line) There is several restaurants in walking distance as well as the Gulfarium. Our favorite breakfast spot was Asiago’s Skillet which was a 3 minute drive. The only complaint was the Master bed, it was very firm and sheets were not very soft and seemed to almost make noise when you were getting into bed.(Our opinion as we have a pillowtop at home) We would deff come back! Perfect for a couple or small family!

Loved it...

Beautiful condo! Amazing views: ocean and sunsets from the balcony; sunrises outside the front door. I joked that the only rooms without a view are the bathrooms! My husband and I slept well on the firm mattress. Gorgeous beach, thoroughly used and enjoyed the beach service. Enjoyed the hot tub and pool as well. Hwy 98 was kind of loud: sirens, engines revving, but we heard that only outside the condo. Inside, quiet. That thing has good, thick walls. It felt like home, only prettier. We hated to leave and hope to come back.

First Timers

This was our first trip to Destin but definitely won't be our last! Such a good experience and most of it was due to our condo and location. The condo was beautiful and perfect. Teresa the owner was extremely helpful and answered any questions we had. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you get. Very relaxing and enjoyable-unbelievable views, perfect location. Our kids are 5 and 9 and the Destin West condos were exactly what we were looking for. Lots of things to do within walking distance. Able to enjoy the pool and the beach/ocean at any time. We had such an amazing vacation that we plan to always rent this condo for our future visits!

Rain and no internet!

Good overall, great view , loved the location. no WiFi , called first night and around noon the next day someone got the TVs working but didn’t say our phones wouldn’t be on working WiFi . Master commode was slow at first then clogged .

Great Gulf view, Good location, average property

Overall, all is good. 1 small cheap quality roll of paper towel, 1 set of tiny 1oz shampoo, tiny disc of hand soap allowed for a 7-day rental! We asked the check-in receptionist for a replenish but she said it's not allowed. No tissue paper, no dishwashing liquid or dish sponge so you're forced to run the dishwasher each time - Not Green. Spice rack is old and out of date. Dirty grimes on board games etc. Bathrooms and shower liner have mildew/mold spots. Dirty baseboards, rugs...The king bed's mattress sags and was uncomfortable. The closet is full of pool floaties and water toys and is more like a storage than a place to hang clothes. The washing machine stops in the middle of a load... With some detailed attention, this place could be a lot better.

The condo was very clean and had everything you need. The beach chair service was an added bonus and we used it the whole time we were there. The booking, checking in, and checking out process was easy. Host was very responsive. Will definitely stay here again.

Cleanliness was outstanding as well as the "Beach House"decor that was carried throughout the condo.Kitchen was equipped well and purchase of food was just a short drive to Publix Grocery Store. View from balcony is great for watching evening sunsets.

Beautiful Condo, Beautiful View, So much to do

We had a lovely stay at the condo. The view was spectacular and the condo was perfect for our family of 4 for Spring Break. The heated pool and hot tubs were VITAL! and we really enjoyed our night swims. Having the reserved beach chairs was awesome as well. I do recommend heading down at 8:45-8:50 if you want a front row set. We walked down to the boardwalk every night for dinner and only left once to go to the grocery store. There is so much to do right there. There was some confusion about the fire department coming to do an inspection, but other than that, it was the ideal stay!We loved it and will definitely be back.

Short getaway

This condo and property were just as described. The instructions were so helpful. The unit was clean and the decor was nice. Having beach service was great. The beds were comfortable. The only downside was we had to check in with the office the next morning as it was closed upon arrival. We had explained that we did not have pool bands left in the unit and they argued with us that someone had left them the day before. They are aqua, pretty hard to miss.
