Come stay in our beautiful waterfront home and make happy memories. Our home sleeps 10 people and there are five beds. Enjoy the coastal views of Aransas Bay from back upper deck. Spacious kitchen, dining, living room with large dining table that seats 6 and huge kitchen island with 5 bar stools. Big screen TV with comfortable sofa to relax on. Tv in all the bedrooms. Two bathrooms upstairs and one downstairs. Laundry room downstairs. Covered porch off the living room with a large dining table to sit at and enjoy the views of the canal and Aransas Bay. Lovely garden with a gorgeous pool. The pool area and back of the house gets the afternoon shade so you can enjoy the outdoors and take a cooling dip in the pool. Bring your boat and dock it in the canal at the back of the house. We have approximately 36 ft for you to dock your own boat with 3 pilings to tie up to. We are walking distance to Bayshore Drive beaches and you can drive over to Rockport Beach which is super clean, safe for small children, has lots of cabanas, toilets and showers. You do need to buy a beach pass to get through the gates.

We have a Ring doorbell at the front door and a security camera on the upper back deck focused on the boat. We do allow one pet only with a fee of $55.00 which goes to our wonderful housekeepers. Please no pets on beds or sofas and please don’t try to climb up onto our boat which is on the lift. Take all your groceries from the fridge home with you and any pool toys you bring with you.

We love our home and have many happy family memories from spending time there. Rockport is a gem with many great restaurants.

Restful Stay

Overall nice property, cute decor, small kitchen, comfortable beds. Back door doorbell was a little annoying when we were in/out throughout the day. Felt like we were walking into CVS or Walgreens and being greeted by a ringing doorbell! :-) Too bad we couldn't use the jet ski or kayak. Plenty of beds for our group of 6. Shared bathroom had drainage issues on our last day. Downstairs bedroom was perfect for the teens.

Relaxing stay

It was vary relaxing! We had fun swimming in the pool at night and going to the beach that is nearby. One day we rented a golf cart and went exploring. The downtown district had lots of little shops. One is called 4 the birds and we highly recommend the jalapeño jelly’s they are locally made. When we did have a question Amanda was fast to respond. It was a nice getaway.

Perfect Holiday Getaway

Dolphin Bay was the perfect house for our July 4th family trip. The house is spacious as listed and beautifully decorated in coastal decor which adds to the relaxation. The amenities were perfect and the pool spectacular. Amanda and Jim were perfect hosts and answered all questions. Great communicators! We’d love to stay again !

First Visit To Texas

Dolphin Bay is just as it is pictured. The home is in a nice quiet neighborhood. Great location, not only to shops and restaurants but also other areas of interest and cities like Corpus Christi and San Antonio. It was just my husband and I, but you could see there was plenty of room for a family to be very comfortable. The pool and patio area had just been updated. Loved the pool! Enjoyed time on the deck and patio watching the birds, and on occasion a Dolphin swim down the canal. Thank you Amanda for sharing your home. Was a great place for our first visit to Texas.

Our emergency stay turned fantastic!

We were in town staying at another rental and it was a complete nightmare. I reached out to Amanda and we were able to get everything setup quickly and were able to check in early and rest from our horrible night before! We loved this house and are excited about renting again in the warmer season so we can use the pool !

My family and I had the best time here! The pool is so fresh and amazing! We had our Jet Ski and boat, so having a place to dock them was great and so easy. The owners were amazing and had great communication with us! We will definitely stay here again.

Sewer stench

Had to call two guest and tell them not to come as the downstairs was no habitable due to the stench of sewer. Over he stay the smell would linger to upstairs bay room. The owner said on his call that maybe the house keepers may have run the washing machine. I guess if they hadn’t we would have slept on dirty sheets. He did nothing to correct problem. Will not be using this house ever again.

Summer Coast Vacation

We had a great visit to Dolphin Bay. The house is in a great location, and the pool is a wonderful way to cool off during the hot summer days. The downstairs bedroom is much bigger than the last time we stayed, and the area is great for kids.

Great family get away

We all enjoyed the stay this was our 2nd yr of staying at a home w/pool in Key Allergo we always had stayed in Port A but enjoy Rockport more. Pool is a plus as in size it does get warm and stays warm till the later evening hours but that didnt stop us at all. Bring fans for the 1 guest room and living area to us it just needed alittle more but thats us ..home has ceiling fans and ac unit upstairs and down so again it was probably us. The island in the kitchen is amazing its huge and beautiful wood top. Has all the extra accessories to cook inside ,2 gas grills we used the bottom one it was clean. Loved the bed in the master suite. If u have a small dog or even medium they can easily get under the fencing just got to watch em. The owner was very nice to talk to on the way down and texting afterwards .. i know its not a easy decision to rent our your personal place to people you dont know but the place is a must return place

Beautiful property!! The property owners were extremely responsive and up front about an issue they were having resolved. The property was well Maintained and the pool was beautiful. The house was clean, beautifully decorated, beds comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, and the AC worked well. We would definitely rent this one again!!!

Great Stay!

Overall the property was great for us and our family! The pool was a hit and most of our day was spent outside enjoying it. Our only considerations, as travelers with toddlers/infants, would be some curtains in the bedrooms to help with the evening and morning sunshine that is in abundance. The rooms were a great size, but the mattresses are clearly in need of replacing. In the front guest room, the bed dips so hard on one side that we constantly were rolling toward the edge. Also, the pull out couches in the downstairs room could use some extra cushion, if you are staying more than one night in that room.

This is a good place if you like sewage smells.

The property is in a great location. Easy check in. The BIG problem is the SEWAGE SMELL that permeates the home. Thought it was from the refrigerator and we cleaned it with bleach and lit some candles. We left and came back and the smell remained. We didn't find the source until we opened the dishwasher. We ran the dishwasher twice with detergent to no avail. The owner did offer a full refund, but at this point we had fishing trips planned and had no other options. The owner was well aware of the problem and did not disclose it. The outside gas grill was also disgusting and was not cleaned in quite some time. We also cleaned that to be able to use it.

Great property for a relaxing family vacation!

The property is beautiful! The rooms are great! The shared upstairs shower between 2 guest rooms was really nice. Master bath was ok, not a deal breaker at all. The downstairs sleeper sofa room was great. We have 3 under 5 years old so we brought a monitor to make sure they didn’t go outside the room to the pool deck since there wasn’t an interior stair to the main house upstairs. The room would be perfect for preteens and teenagers. Overall it was a great property! And Rockport was very family friendly in my opinion and a short drive to Port A if you want the big shops and restaurants. Thank you for the great memories and vacation with my family!

Very nice property. No issues. Owners were prompt in getting back to me when needed. We enjoyed our stay. Just with the weather was nicer so we could have enjoyed the pool for more than one day..

We have been long time second homeowners on Key Allegro. We love the peace and quiet here. The bird watching is amazing, and dolphins are always seen every time we go into the bay, and they do come up our canal. Shopping is very good on Austin Street which is the historical part of Rockport with some very unique privately owned shops. Visit the new Art Centre. Rockport has some great restaurants, such as Gabriela's Tapa Bar and Restaurant just across the bridge from Key Allegro, 495 Chesapeake Eats and Latitude 28 02 Coastal Cuisine & Fine Art, Moondog Seaside Eatery, The Groove. Pier 77 is a place where you can BYOB with large portions of delicious home cooked food. The Sugar Shack is a fun bar on Fulton Beach Road.

Our home is a very relaxing home. You will enjoy the pool which stays cool in the hot Texas summers because it gets the afternoon shade at about 3pm and the sea breezes add additional . You can sit outside downstairs and be cool under the shade of the upper deck. We have two barbeque grills to cookout on.

The pool stays cool because of the afternoon shade. There are two sun loungers and four poolside chairs, and the seating area under the house to relax in. There are outside hanging lights to light up the deck and pool area in the evenings. The pool lights change color and are very pretty. Watch the Pelicans, Herons, Cormorants and Egrets fly past. You will see dolphin swim up and down our cancal too. Usually early morning.
