Check in was very easy and the host was super friendly and helpful! Everything was clean and there was access to cooking tools, which was wonderful. The neighborhood was decent and the park wasn’t too far away to walk. The pool was really nice and we enjoyed it. The only problem we had was that the bedroom we stayed in was a little warm, even though the ac was at a decent temperature. However, that can easily be fixed. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the place was very nice!

This property was a great for the price range. Pool was a little cold, because it doesn't get much sun, however you can pay A small fee and have it heated. Air hockey in the living room was fun for the kids, only issue was 2 of the bedrooms didn't have any heating/cooling. Owner provided fans for air flow, again for the price it was still a great deal.

WARNING!

First let me be fair and say the property itself wasn't that bad. Its full of little extras especially for kids which makes my biggest complaint kind of odd but ill get to that shortly. When we arrived something didnt seem right and after about 20 mins and probably 20 phone calls I finally recieved a call back. The owner had a slight attitude but nothing crazy saying all the info i needed was sent to me. Problem was it was the wrong address listed! After that everything was fine, nice ammenities, kid friendly blah blah until you turn on the water.... SCALDING HOT. No exageration. My 6 month old recieved a 2nd degree burn on her leg from that outrageously hot water! We had to take her to the emergency room and she's still recovering. To go through all the trouble to make an environment safe for kids you would think Scalding hot water would be left off the list. Obviously won't be back.

Hello, thank you for chosing the home for your stay. I'm sorry you had trouble finding the house, the correct address is listed and weve never had trouble with others finding the home. You called numerous times making false claims that were not appreciated. Regarding the hot water, the water closet is located right by the front door. This was turned to very hot, it has now been turned back to a normal hot temperature. If you would have reached out about this during your stay I could have walked you through turning the main water knob back as the renters are the ones with access to change this. I reached out to you after your review regarding your issues but have yet to hear back.

It was about the people in the house, not the house.. that was our motto

I’ll start by saying this was a last minute booking as our house we originally had cancelled on us four weeks out from our trip and we didn’t have many options, that being said.. The cons: The pictures from this listing are old. The fooseball table is falling apart you literally can’t use it without worrying that it’s going to crash down on you. The poker/ping pong/air hockey table is also starting to come apart and the paddles are as well. Three quarters of the dishes in the cupboards were dirty and had to be washed again before using and walking around barefoot in the house your feet got dirty. The beds were hard and uncomfortable (all three) and one door to a bedroom didn’t latch shut. Some of the kitchen chairs have sharp tacks sticking through the fabric and I cut my leg open on a tack and the water gets extremely hot which would worry me with children in the house. The sharing of the property with the full time resident is fine, we didn’t see much of them and it didn’t bother us. I would have preferred to have been notified that the pool maintenance guy was coming over but instead he just showed up in the back yard, but he was nice. We weren’t offered laundry service until I asked about it and the only reason i saw it was available was through other reviews of the house. I was surprised to see this house didn’t have laundry, that’s our fault for missing it. The pros: nice pool and back yard and Nicole was very quick at responding to any questions and helping us when we locked ourselves out of the house. It is not a bad place to stay, I think good beds would have made up for everything else, but I think the listing needs updating and a little more attention to cleanliness and safety such as updating the chairs, removing or updating the play tables, offering laundry service upfront like i saw elsewhere, etc. we do appreciate you opening your home to us.

Hello, thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We have replaced the paddles and balls for the paddle ball table. All the kitchen seats also have brand new seat covers which we bought prior to your stay. We have received positive comments about the new mattresses but unfortunately it wasnt to your liking, everyone has a different preference. We did buy a new Zinus mattress topper for the King bed to give the beds variety since your departure. Regarding laundry services, this is not something that was offered for this listing however since you asked about it, I offered to do the laundry for you in my home. We will now offer this to other guests. Since you are our first review, I'm not sure how you got this information from another review. Nonetheless, we hope you enjoyed your stay in our beautiful city!
