406 E Market - great location on Lewes Beach!

This two bedroom house on the beach side of Lewes is centrally located with an easy walk to beach or town.
The main floor has the living area, dining and kitchen as well as the main bedroom and full bathroom. This floor also has the laundry room and is cooled with Central A/C. The second floor (a converted attic space) is set up as a "dorm room" with four single beds. This room has an a/c unit.
Relax on the large front deck before heading out to the beach for the day!
Pets are not permitted at this property

All guests must supply their own sheets, towels and beach towels or OPT in for our linen rental package.

Guests must choose to purchase a $70 Vacation Rental Damage Insurance policy covering $3,000.00 in accidental damage, or pay a refundable security deposit of $2,000.00. Policies of a lesser amount are not acceptable. This amount will not be reflected in the quote amount on VRBO.

The property must be occupied for the entire rental period by the Guest signing the Lodging Agreement (Responsible Guest), and all occupants of the Property shall be supervised by the Responsible Guest. The Responsible Guest must be at least 25 years of age. If the party is made up of unrelated individuals (a group rental where the Responsible Guest is NOT the legal guardian/parent of any other guests), ALL guests occupying the property must be at least 25 years of age.

We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover Credit Cards and eChecks for your initial deposit. We also accept personal checks for final payments. Final payments are due 30 days prior to your check-in date. NOTE: Any payments within 30 days of arrival require to be in certified funds or by credit card. You will be provided a link to a Guest Portal where you can securely make your payments online.

VRBO BOOKINGS: This property is hosted by the management company noted as Owner on VRBO. After booking the property you will be charged a booking fee by VRBO. ALL other fees and the rental amount will be charged by the management company and paid to the management company. Once you have booked you will be contacted by the management company and sent a Lodging Agreement that must be signed. Apart from Damage Protection, all fees associated with the booking are displayed in the VRBO booking.

Front deck is great for morning and early afternoon sun and the back deck is great for the afternoon. Close to the beach and has everything you need for a great vacation.

Awesome Location!

The house is awesome. The one thing I liked about the house was the space! Walking distance to beach is 5 minutes. Parked our car the entire stay and walked everywhere. Will be back for sure😊 John and Breann

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: BHHS is easy to work with and very professional. The location of this house is great. Walk to town or beach or ice cream! A bit noisy across the street at the B&B but it’s a minor issue. House is clean and comfortable but a little run down - attention to light fixtures and bulbs - and please, a few basic amenities (e.g. toilet paper!!) needed!

A gem!

What a find! The perfect location on a quiet street -- easy walking distance from both the beach and town -- with a gorgeous backyard and view of lovely woods/marshes from the deck. The house was spotless, spacious, and well appointed. We'll be back next year!

Excellent Location and Property with One Caviat

The property is in a strategic, convenient location. Perfect for our 5 day stay. Excellent Internet and TV service. Our only problem was ants that would show up if you left anything out at all. You much put all food products away in cabinets.It could have been weather related; however, I think an extermination contract would help with the issue if one isn't in place already.We are strongly considering returning to the property next season but will certainly be inquiring about this one issue and see if any steps were taken.All in all, a GREAT property in a GREAT location. We'd like to come back.

Not good at all

the place lacked many things including good pillows and no extra blankets. The kitchen was outdated and I was told to boil water in a pot!! the attic room is dark and it is not even a real room with high steps. the picture showed decievedly that there were two rooms on the first floor. The house was reltaively clean but the grill was dirty and on the paper it said they will charge 55 dollars if you leave the grill dirty. The house is not kept well. We left one and a half day earlier. I have asked for a partial refund to which I have not heard anything. I thought this was an R b and b where I have stayed in many different contries. Here we had to bring towles and sheets and even other things.

We are sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay. As stated in our communications with each guests, linens and paper products are NOT included. And the agreement is for the dates indicated on the paperwork you signed. There is no refund if you leave a day early.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros- The house has a good location and plenty of parking. The back room is a great extra space for all of us to spread out. Cons- The outdoor shower and decks are getting pretty worn down. Also, the indoor furnishings are pretty uncomfortable. Master bedroom has the smallest “queen” sized bed. Be prepared to bring your own coffee mug, plates, and silverware (or do the dishes twice a day).
