Port Ludlow on Puget Sound cottage w/private beach views and access. Relax and listen to the waves and birds. Stroll the private beach or paddle out on the Kayaks, Canoe or Paddle Boards and see the seals on the nearby island. Lots of wildlife including eagles, osprey, otters, deer, seals. Buy organic local produce from the Chimacum Valley nearby and grill a fabulous dinner out on the deck. Take a bottle of wine down to the swinging chairs and enjoy the changing colors of the sky at sunset.
Please so not throw anything other than toilet paper down the toilet. Septic tank is old and delicate.

Disappointed

Booked and had to cancel 2 days after booking. The cancelation policy had loosing 1/2 of my money 1 month prior to booking so they charged almost 900.00. I booked the middle of April to dtay the middle of May. Canceled 2 days later for a reason beyond my control but cancelation policy stated I had to cancel Mid March. One month prior to booking. I felt that charge was over and above reasonable. They had plenty of time to book again and probably did.

What a wonderful place to spend a couple of days. The cottage was clean and cozy and stocked with everything you might need. We will be back again!

Wonderful relaxing place to stay

We celebrated our 32nd anniversary here. The cottage was cozy and romantic. The surrounding yard is beautiful with plants and flowers all around. There are huge trees as well and we saw 2 bald eagles a couple times. Very comfortable bed and couch for watching movies on the huge flat-screen. We walked the beach and sat morning and evening on the deck just enjoying the amazing views. There is a bbq on the deck and some reclining chairs with a firepit so sitting outside in the evenings was cozy. The location is great for heading into Pt. Ludlow or driving a short distance to Pt. Townsend. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it! Peggy is an awesome host. She is responsive if we needed anything and makes sure to give us privacy.

Wonderful stay!

Home was easy to locate and get into. It was clean, bright, and alwxacrly as advertised. Bed was very comfortable for both my partner and me (both larger people); view was incredible and water access incredibly easy. The owners home facing the cottage had stained glass coverings on the windows, giving us privacy as we ate on the deck. Had all kitchen appliances and needs as well. 10/10, highly reccome d.

Perfect in every way

Stayed here to escape the chaos of Christmas. It was beautiful and relaxing. Even though it rained - a lot - the large windows overlooking the water made it all better. Plus the free youtubetv meant we could watch football on Christmas like every good American ;-)

Great place to relax!

My husband and I came here to enjoy some time alone together away from the children. This was the perfect spot. Beautiful scenery, awesome hiking, and a good snuggling couch.

Gorgeous, relaxing stay

My spouse and i stayed for a weekend as a wedding anniversary get away weekend, and we couldnt have asked for more. The house is a perfect size for two people and the view was to die for. Quiet, clean, well stocked and uterly relaxing. The views for sunrise were amazing. Highly highly recommend.

Idyllic Beach Cottage in Port Ludlow

If you're looking for the perfect place for a romantic getaway, or you just want a jumping off point for the Olympic Peninsula, this lovely beach cottage is an ideal choice. An expansive deck offers beautiful water views, although you can meander down the trail and put your feet in the water within a couple of minutes. It also offers a fire table, bbq, and table with comfy chairs. The cottage is beautifully appointed with everything you need, so if your goal is to simply enjoy the quiet, you'll never need to leave! The bed and pillows were super comfy and the living room was furnished with great seating for lounging around, reading, or watching TV. We enjoyed the nightly barking and growling of the seals out on the rocks, the croaking of a frog that seemed to start each night at 5pm and finish his show by 5:30p. We even saw a sea otter swim by! Our host Peggy walked up right as we were unloading our suitcases, gave us the kind of advice you only get from a local, and then, was invisible for the rest of our stay. We'd highly recommend this cottage to anyone, and hope to stay again sometime in the future!

Welcoming cottage with a fantastic view

The cottage was very homey and a comfortable space for two people. The location was peaceful and very quiet with a great view of the water and mountains in the background. The sunrise in the morning was spectacular and different each day. Lots of wildlife to see as well. Peggy lives on the same property but did not intrude on our time there. She messaged us to welcome us and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, we had a wonderful and much needed restful time. Thank you for your hospitality!

A little piece of heaven.

We had a wonderful stay at this enchanted cottage. It sits in the perfect position to enjoy marvelous sunrises and moon lit waters. We saw sea otters and seals and cranes. We had a resident bald eagle which was magnificent. Peggy, our host, was wonderful and could not have been more helpful. If you are looking for a very peaceful getaway, or plan on sightseeing or hiking, Peggys place is the perfect spot.

Anniversary Get Away

If you are looking for a comfortable, little bungalow to decompress and be still, this is it. The open view, soft lapping of the water, and lovely deck is perfect for reading, eating, and napping. The interior is charming. The bed is comfortable, and the evening breezes are divine. Peggy has created a delightful respite for getting away from it all and just being. My husband and I are already looking at the calendar to see when we can return. She is a charming host.

Like PARADISE

This was, by far, the BEST rental I've ever stayed in. The cottage and landscaping were stunning! The feeling was so peaceful...and the bed was super comfortable. We loved everything about our stay. We will recommend it to everyone...and be back again.
