Open layout with mountain view out of the living room window. The large window in the master bedroom on the first floor overlooks the wooded backyard with tall trees. Large windows in the living space bring in tons of sunlight. A full kitchen stocked with cookware, dishes, towels and breakfast items. 2 Smart TVs - one in the main living room and the second living room on the second floor. Laundry with washer and dryer and a half bath are also on the first floor. Hardwood flooring on the entire first floor and 4 closets downstairs with a walk-in in the master bedroom. Main bedroom is on the first floor with an attached bathroom and walk-in closet. Wooded backyard and the front lawn are ideal for pets! Very peaceful and quiet area - near the Amish country.
Itâs a fairly new home with comfortable furnishings. When we arrived it was âtidyâ but dirty. The floors and bathrooms were filthy and there were piles of garbage bags by the street that were broken open and scattered. The trash can up by the house was overflowing, and there were broken kids toys and bicycles laying in the driveway and yard. The owner called us shortly after we arrived and said the cleaning crew was a no show before we arrived but there would be a crew there btwn 12-1 the following day. We were ok with that⊠stuff happens. But, the following day was also a no show from the âcleaning crewâ (This is a pet friendly rental and we had a small dog so we had to arrange our schedule to make sure we were there when cleaning crew arrived) The owner called again later that day and apologized and said the cleaning crew could be there btwn 8:30-9 the next day (day 3 of our 5 day stay). A cleaning crew did arrive on day 3, they were there 3 hours and did a great job cleaning the property. So⊠it was a nice house but under the circumstances was our worst ever experience with VRBO.
I am an engineer and travel all the time. House was built when my parents came to visit and I moved away for work after that. I love the house - it's very peaceful and charming! Views are awesome! It's in the Amish country and in driving distance from Hershey Park!
