Wonderful hosts

Spoiled by fantastic hosts. The rooms were immaculately kept and had all the small necessities that one may forget bring. We loved the view of the setting sun every evening from the living room. The baked treats every morning took the stay from wondered to a memory that will last forever.

Cozy Peaceful Get away

Very beautiful accommodations. Beautiful Amish family farm. While it's not a true bed and breakfast, every morning you will find delicious pastries at your door. There is no TV and no Internet which allows you to break from technology. I love that while my son, not so much. We were provided with great remonendations of places to eat and visit during our stay. If you are looking for quiet, this isn't the stay for you but if you don't mind the sound of children playing and other noses, this place is perfect. I personally enjoyed it. If you have allergies to animals, didn't forget your allergy tabs as you are staying upstairs in the barn. There are horses and goats below you. Overall, amazing on-site hosts and much relaxation. I would definitely stay there again.

A Blessing

Our hosts were very welcoming and the home and property is beautiful and clean. The baked goods that Miriam made were delicious. This is now my favorite place to stay in Pennsylvania. Definitely want to come back and stay again.

This was a beautiful, quiet place to come for a few days. We loved meeting the host, and the surroundings and view were gorgeous. We would definitely come here again if we are ever able.

What the doctor ordered

The property is beautiful and truly a place to de-stress… It exceeded our expectations. We loved the farm aspect of it. Loved to see the goats each day. The place was immaculate and well equipped with everything we needed. I have to say that I was sad to leave knowing we would be back to the hustle and bustle of our busy lifestyle. Thankful we came across this property!

Wonderful

From beginning to end our stay was great. This was a mother/daughter get away, the only thing we would change is to stay longer. Accommodations were exactly as stated and as other reviews said, the morning goodies were a delight. The family also was delightful. The lane into the property is tree lined and the last day of our stay there were extremely high winds, we were on our way back in, it was dark and a tree had fallen across the road. We phoned our hosts and within minutes they brought a tractor and cleaned up the tree…what service!! We definitely recommend this welcoming property.

The perfect peaceful getaway!

Miriam and Ben are absolutely lovely hosts and have gone out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome. The place is very well kept, clean and the amenities were lovely, especially the bathtub!There were pastries left every morning, which we looked forward to, and were absolutely delicious! Amazing property and lovely hosts

My boyfriend and I had planned a small weekend getaway for the Christmas Holiday season to check out Koziar's which is conveniently close to the property. There was a bit of a miscommunication at first but the hosts quickly corrected it and are such lovely people. We're so grateful for the little treats and the warm letters that are left by the door each morning. Their property is beautiful and well kept, you'll want to wake up to the beautiful views every morning. The best nightly price in that area as well. I'm definitely hoping to come back again soon!

RETURNING GUESTS

We were so happy to be able to stay in this perfect place in the area where we both grew up. It reminds us how lucky we were to grow up in such a beautiful area. The farm provides us with the perfect landing spot to meet and then be able to visit family and friends in the area. The added snowfall made this weekend seem magical to celebrate a birthday with a forever friend and we know we will be back again.

Amazing stay!

My partner and I stayed at this property from Friday to Monday and overall, we were quite pleased, despite encountering an initial issue.Although the property is located on a working farm, we were pleasantly surprised by the tranquility; we hardly heard any disruptive noises, and even the roosters were not bothersome but a pleasant morning sound!We were scheduled to check in at 4 PM but arrived at 6 PM, only to discover that the property had no power. We attempted to contact the owners and reached out to VRBO multiple times without success, which was understandably frustrating. After waiting at a nearby Wawa, we returned around 8 PM when the owners arrived and activated the generator. They were apologetic and had the power back on within no time (it’s solar powered). Despite the initial setback, we were glad we decided to stay. The property itself is beautiful, featuring a king-size bed situated high off the ground, with a stool conveniently placed underneath for easy access. The stand alone tub is spectacular, adding a touch of luxury to our stay. Additionally, the kitchen is well-equipped with an abundance of utensils and cookware, ensuring that you will have everything you need for meal preparation. The sweet treats each morning were amazingly delicious! In summary, while our stay began with some challenges, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at this lovely property and would consider returning!

The place was exactly what we were looking for when we wanted a quiet get away. Everything was clean and well taken care of. The soaking tub with all the essentials was also a nice extra. Our host was extremely friendly and the cookies outside the door in the morning was a well appreciated touch, will definitely be back!

Beautiful retreat

Our stay was very nice. Scenery as beautiful. Just an FYI, you are always from everything, no TV or internet , but that did not bother us as our phones still worked and we don’t really watch much TV anyway. Also the apartment is above their barn with a shared living space so it did get noisy at times, but not terrible. Miriam Provided baked goods in the morning and was available for any needs. We really enjoyed our stay!

Perfect Getaway

The perfect hidden gem! Couldn’t ask for anything more. Quiet, adorable, and everything you could need already there including a washer/dryer! Miriam was extremely sweet upon arrival, she greeted us and gave us a quick tour. The weekend went way too fast, we are already looking to book for the Spring season. See you soon! Thank you!

A Great Getaway

Relaxing

Very relaxing with all the amenities of home. Kitchen is well equipped if you choose to cook. The apartment is lovely and the surrounding area is peaceful and lets not forget the tasty treats placed out your door each morning. This was our second time staying here and we'll be back in the future. If you are in the area on a Friday we highly recommend checking out the Green Dragon Farm Market.

Peaceful respite

I planned a mother-daughter getaway weekend and chose to stay here and we were not disappointed! What a beautiful place! Miriam made our stay so welcomed. There is no TV or internet here, but we didn't mind. We are considering making our getaway a yearly thing and will definitely look into staying here again!

This was a get-away to celebrate my husband’s 65th birthday. I cannot rate this property highly enough! It was quiet and relaxing…just what we needed. It was clean and comfy. Our hosts, Miriam and Ben were wonderful! I believe the baked goods Miriam delivered to our door each morning must be a taste of Heaven! The property was just perfect…the herb garden and the woods were just gorgeous. And looking out and seeing the horse, goats and chickens…so beautiful.We can’t wait to go back!!!
