We really enjoyed our stay and there was ample room for our family of 5. The home was very clean and kitchen had everything we needed! Being from the Midwest, our family especially enjoyed access to the heated spa and pool while watching football on the outdoor TV. We heated the pool and spa only during the day and in the early evening, and although it may have been difficult to anticipate the propane requirements ahead of time, communication with Maria was very easy and she was able to arrange a propane delivery within hours to keep the water warm and the kiddos happy. The outdoor furniture was cozy too. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

An Unforgettable Stay - Truly a Home Away from Home!

From the moment we arrived, we knew this would be a special stay. The property exceeded all our expectations. Location: Dos Cacti is in a serene neighborhood, perfect for walking or biking to local shops, restaurants, and Old Town. Scottsdale was a delight with so many fun activities and vibrant spots to explore. Accommodation: The house was immaculate and luxuriously decorated, with impeccable attention to detail. It felt more like a vacation home than a rental. Every room was cozy, comfortable, and well-equipped. The photos are beautiful, but the home is even more stunning in person! The kitchen was a dream, fully stocked and organized. Host: Maria went above and beyond, sharing personalized recommendations for activities and dining. Communication was prompt and helpful, and check-in/check-out details were easy and clear! Amenities: The outdoor space was a true sanctuary. The hot tub was a highlight, perfect for a relaxing soak under the stars after fun-filled days in Scottsdale. Cleanliness: Everything was spotless, maintained to the highest standard, which made us feel safe and at home. Overall Experience: Our stay here was nothing short of perfect. It's rare to find a place that feels like a second home, but this property did just that. Wonderful Spring Break Trip

We rented this fantastic house for our spring break for a family of four with younger kids. I rated this a 5 star based on several factors including the house being in fantastic shape and very well stocked. The pool area feels like its brand new and has the latest electronics to make for great pool days with the family. We had a few hiccups on using the control pad but the owner was super responsive and helpful in ensuring it worked as we needed it. The location is ideal if you want a short walk into Old Town Scottsdale and the neighborhood is super quiet and safe. I would highly recommend this as a family vacation spot.

Quick Getaway to Get Some Sun

This property was well appointed and modern. The pool and hot tub were great. Although it does require some technical understanding to operate the i-pad to turn things on and off. Location is close to downtown Scottsdale and hiking/biking the trails up North.

Very nice and great location

Overall the house is nice - be aware that each of the three bedrooms has one bed so larger groups will need to double-up. We may have missed this when we booked. The location is great - very near Old Town and easy access to highways. Quiet neighborhood. The pictures (like many VRBO pics) suggest slightly larger spaces in and around the house than are reality. But this is still a very comfortable house and backyard. Lastly the owner and property manager (Troy) are very helpful and easy to reach.

Lovely place to stay in Scottsdale

We had a wonderful stay at Dos Cacti! Updated and all amenities were as described. We loved watching the starlings nest in the large cacti in the backyard. The bikes worked great and we enjoyed riding them in the nearby park. The owner/manager was available and very helpful.

Modern clean home in a great location

Classic ranch home with quality and tasteful upgrades. Comfortable furniture and well stocked and equipped in the kitchen- refreshing when so many VRBOs give you the minimum. Perfect location very convenient to Old Town and shopping. Stayed here for four nights over the Holidays with two teenage sons. Very responsive host. Great place to book!

Great Thanksgiving stay

We had a great time here. The house was perfect for us (family of 3 plus Grandpa). The pool and hot tub were very nice and the outdoor lounge area and dining area were perfect. We had our meals outside to enjoy the weather! The kitchen was super well stocked with anything you could need. The living room was plenty of space for the 4 of us. All of the beds were very comfortable and we slept wonderfully. We would stay here again. The hosts were easy to work with and communicated promptly!

Beautiful Place and Owners Are Amazing

We stayed at this fully stocked, beautiful home at the end of April 2023 - it is exactly as advertised on the web site. The pool and backyard were beautiful and we were all enthralled with the beautiful cacti and the birds living in them! The kitchen was very well stocked which was great! We did have a mechanical issue with the house but the owners were on in within 2 hours and made sure everything worked out for us - can’t thank Maria and James enough! If we’re ever back in Scottsdale we will stay here again!

Perfect On All Levels!

This house was amazing for our girls weekend! We used the bikes to ride to the grocery store, the pool was a perfect space to hang out all day, the rest of the backyard had plenty of space to relax in the shade, and the neighborhood is sooo quiet. I thought there might be highway noise, but there was none. The pull out bed in fourth room/office was so comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and the home was very clean. Great water pressure in the showers as well. Communication with Maria was quick. We would absolutely stay here again!

Family Spring Break

Property was great and as advertised. The house accommodated our group of 8 (6 adults, 2 young kids) easily. The outdoor space was perfect for enjoying the warm Arizona weather. The location was centrally located with quick access to both old town and north Scottsdale.

Excellent Stay

We loved this property. The house was clean and had everything we could need. Our family loved riding bikes into Old Town and swimming in the pool. The owners and property manager went above and beyond in communicating and making sure our stay was comfortable. We all want to come back!

Super helpful host!

Maria was the perfect host. She sent helpful information as soon as we booked and replied very quickly to all of our requests. The house is lovely and could not be more convenient to access everything to do in Scottsdale. Only headache for us was heating the pool and hot tub. Controls were not easy to understand and caused issues with us using too much propane to heat anything. We paid to have heat, but were unable to use the pool and the hot tub could only be hot a couple of times a day. If conservation is a concern, then the owner should consider an insulated cover or more efficient hot tub. We loved the home, just a little disappointed with the water features.

A nicely remodeled and appointed home in Old Scottsdale. Very close to everything. It has an awesome private backyard with pool and hot tub. Our hosts Maria and Troy were very organized and responsive. I’d stay with them again for sure.

Great Scottsdale ranch house

I came into town with my two brothers and this property could not have been any better. The house is clean and modern and the check in and property management was very responsive. The bikes were also nice as the Old Town Scottsdale bars and restaurants were a short drive away. I would highly recommend this to any visitors to the area.

We are vacation homeowners here in the West. We love Old Town and being close to the action, but not in it. Our mid-century modern farmhouse is an expression of our passion for style, art, and the outdoors. We are active, middle-aged people who can work from anywhere, and this allows us to be close to family. We enjoy doing everything the area has to offer including spending time with family, hiking, biking, golfing, dog walking, shopping, pickleball, and getting out to enjoy great restaurants, shops, and fun hot spots in Old Town. Many of the Spring training facilities are in walking or biking distance or a short Uber ride.

We offer modern, clean vacation accommodations in Scottsdale Old Town, perfect for couples, families, and friends. When you choose to stay with us, our goal is to provide the most relaxing vacation experience. Your only job here is to relax and have fun.

The Scottsdale area is ideal for a great warm-weather getaway, with many activities within less than 2 miles of walking or driving distance, which includes Spring Training facilities, golf, Fashion Square, Old Town, Talking Stick, Aquarium, iFly, Butterfly experience, ASU and Grand Canyon University, several museums, Camelback mountain not to mention a 10-minute drive to most of Scottsdale from this central location.

Our spacious 1800 sq ft, fully furnished four-bedroom home has everything for a comfortable stay and is a great alternative to a hotel or motel room that can accommodate 6 adults and accompanying children (8 max). Our vacation home offers a king-size bed in the master bedroom and 2 queen-size beds for guests as well as a pull-out couch and office. We accommodate groups, families, and trips for guys and girls, and are perfect for all who prefer not to climb stairs.

This one-story mid-century modern has been remodeled with high-end finishes. The pool and spa are right out your back door. It sits in a quiet neighborhood, a corner lot less than 2 miles from Old Town, shopping, the green belt, golf, and spring training.

Whether just for a weekend, or hopefully longer, thank you for considering our home, we look forward to helping you plan a fantastic trip to the desert.
