My friends and I absolutely loved Texas Rose home! We loved how charming the decor was and how thoughtful Absolute Charm was with providing wine, banana bread and cold drinks for us to enjoy. It was a fantastic weekend being in the cozy home! Thank you!!
this was a quick getaway for friends and it is an absolute charm of a house. It is clean easily accessible to Main Street and restaurants incredibly quiet with comfortable beds a well stocked kitchen and ample room for a party of four. We look forward to coming back in October and staying here if available
We so enjoyed our stay in this charming historical home close to downtown. It had everything four ladies needed plus some! We hope to stay here again sometime.
Our stay at Texas Rose was beyond our expectations. Nila and David were the perfect hosts and answered any questions we had. The home itself is just beautiful and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The have thought of everything. We cannot wait to come back again:)
The historic home was beautiful inside & out. The owner had decorated the home wonderful & thought of everything that would be needed to make us feel at home. Everything was perfect & we all enjoyed our stay in the home. We would definitely stay here again.
Quaint, Clean, Cozy, Convenient yet Quiet location, this house checked all the boxes for the three of us. We felt right at home the moment we walked in the door. The banana walnut bread and bottle of wine were nice touches. The bedding and linens were also appreciated. A wonderful place to stay; highly recommend.
We stay at allot of places all over the world and Texas is home. This quick get trip showed us what houses should really be. It was decorated like something out of a magazine. Truly wish we would have booked for a week or more.
Thank you to the host.
From check in to check out, we enjoyed every minute of our time at Texas Rose. The historic property is the perfect blend of old charm and updated amenities. We found the home to have a comfy, cozy feel to it. The flow of the spacious home works extremely well and as two couples traveling together it was nice to have a downstairs and upstairs suites. The location of the home is ideal for downtown activities--shops, restaurants, the library, and churches. The owners seem to have thought of every detail to allow for a delightful stay.
This place was the perfect home for my familyâs Memorial Day weekend getaway. Itâs just a 5 minute walk to the middle of Main Street, making it the perfect location in Fredericksburg. Communication with the host was fast and access to house was a easy. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was well equipped. Even got to enjoy the hot tub under the Texas stars. Thanks again for sharing your home!
This home was wonderful! Itâs been, by far, the most hospitable home we have stayed in yet. When we arrived, the lamps and fans were on welcoming us home. There were cookies in the kitchen and chocolates on the bedside table. This home also didnât come with a huge rule book that some do. It felt as if a family was truly sharing their home with us!
The location is wonderful! Two blocks from Main Street and a block and a half from a great coffee shop (and HEB :)).
While we were there, we visited Pedernales Falls State Park, Medina river tubing, Enchanted Rock State Park, Luchenbach, and Old Tunnel State Park- along with all the Fredericksburg-y places.
We loved our stay at the historic Texas Rose home. Hosts provided complimentary banana bread, wine, coffee, sodas, water etc. My husband, myself and adult son stayed for 2 nights in this gorgeous home. I used the claw foot tub and enjoyed coffee each morning on front porch swing. My husband and son enjoyed the hot tub each evening. Will definitely stay again on our next trip to Texas hill country!! Great location for easy walk to all the shops, restaurants, and bars on Main Street. Loved it!! Lori B
