Place was as described. We had a great time. We had some really smart successful people with us, including a well known well respected leader in the technology field. However with all the brain power in the room, we were not smarter than the 1980âs microwave. Loved the instructions in the book. Needless to say we used the backup microwave. This place is in perfect 1980âs condition. It was a really incredible throwback kind of stay. Thank you for sharing the home.
Perfect for our family of 4. Great accommodations. Covered dock for our pontoon. Outdated appliances but it matched the home decor. Was clean with everything you need for a nice getaway. Didnât really use the outdoor seating due to time and bugs. Tranquil evenings spent on the balcony of the master bedroom. Shower ceilings were low, somewhat uncomfortable for my husband and sons (all over 6 ft) . Overall another successful fishing trip in the books
Best family time location ever! We took our teen daughters and spent much needed one on one time with them. Beautiful location on the lake and we felt safe with the girls. Fabulous neighbors were so welcoming of us being there, too. We cannot express how much we want to go back!
Nice, clean lake cabin that reminded us of the good ole days. The owners had very detailed information for us and made everything easy. Location was nice and quiet with a great view of the main channel. Definitely recommend it for a nice lake getaway.
The property was exactly as advertised. It is small, but my family (4 people) had plenty of space. The dock was great for swimming and fishing. The amenities and kitchen were perfect. We saved a ton by eating in. The management was extremely helpful and responsive - had a minor issue with the gas grill that was taken care of quickly and courteously. Overall it was a wonderful stay - not far from Osage Beach.
From booking to the end of our stay the host was very responsive to questions and helpful in suggesting places to visit and boat rentals.
We vacationed with family and it was nice to be under one roof instead of a hotel. Mornings were peaceful to enjoy a cup of coffee and sit outside on the deck and watch the boats go by. Sunsets were beautiful and we were surprised we could sit out at night and not get bit by bugs. That was a huge plus! It was a little outdated , as seen in pictures, but it fit our needs perfectly!
Another plus itâs a great location to everything, shopping, restaurants and sightseeing.
We had a great time! Beautiful property! Great views. Communication with management was excellent. Highly recommend. Caught lots of different fish off the dock. Sad we had to leave. Our room was stunning overlooking the water
My family and I had a great stay at the A frame. We chose this location because of the access to the water. Unfortunately it was still chilly and the winds were super strong causing the water to be choppy and not ideal for fishing. I'm sure the fishing would easily improve within the next month or so. Besides that, we did enjoy eating meals together overlooking the lake and watching the sunset in the evening. The beds were comfy and the primary bedroom was spacious with the small deck access. Overall the house was as advertised but some features, like the microwave were older. The house had everything we needed for a short getaway and was ideal for our family size (6). The kids enjoyed the provided games and looking for rocks along the shore area. Despite the numerous stairs to the dock, it was manageable for all of our children. The host was very quick to respond to my questions. Overall great stay, I would recommend coming back to swim when it's warmer.
This was a perfect trip.
The cabin was cozy and made us feel nostalgic for times past. But nothing was dated in a way that made it hard to use. The electric fireplace was perfect for the Spring trip and cold mornings.
We really felt like we were staying at our own lake house. Neighbors were nice, too.
The spiral staircase is carpeted and our kids had no problems with it.
Internet was fast. TVs looked good.
Only thing missing was a disco ball!
The property manager was great! We had a car breakdown on the way out and he offered us an additional night stay if we wanted it to accommodate. He communicated regularly which was nice.
The property was nice and set back nicely in the trees! The house is retro but has a great Lake feel to it. I love all the windows on the lake side, loved the deck - our favorite - and the upstairs master was fantastic with great lake views in the morning!
The amenities were good - thanks for having a fan and extension cord there!
Dock was lighted as were the stairs down to it which was very nice! The dock is on the main lake so it gets pretty rocked even during October which was the only down side I could see of the property. A boat lift is necessary for this dock and would take care of trying to keep your boat from getting beat up otherwise we loved it!
House was as expected. Waves were great along with the decks. Reason for 4 on cleanliness was some dishes were greasy and oven could have used a cleaning. Water pressure is very low when using upstairs shower with toilet or sink water running downstairs. Dock could use some maintenance for loose boards and mail heads poking up.
Amazing view!! From master bedroom, outside porches and dock. Everything you need for a stay. Convenience shop within 5 minutes that sells everything you need. Parking is tight and it is for any lakeside house around the lake. Only downfall is dusk to Dawn lights light up the place like itâs daylight. It lights up the fire pit area at night. even in the master bedroom. If you like it dark outside this is not the place to stay. Otherwise absolutely great property!!
Great property on main channel. House had everything needed for a great stay. It even had the little extras that made this one of the best houses weâve stayed in.
